Felan found a couple of the tree pods and went back to where they were to wait for the others. Sirhaan went and sat by him.

Ulver collects some pine sap and some bark, and some moss and meets back up "Alright, who's ready to hide their paws?"

Tom nodded and stepped forward, his eyes fluttering with amusement. He had never heard of this technique as his old pack was known for their light steps which had passed onto him, but he wasn't a canid to question other methods. For now, he stayed silent and stared at the moss.

Ulver applies the sap first, then the various plant matters he has gathered in hap-hazard shapes before applying sap on the bottom of that and then sand, for traction. "Alright, that'll keep you from slipping around and your foot prints are no longer wolf-shaped and won't sink into soft terrain as much, making it appear as the tracks are older than they are."

Tom nodded, backing away from the group slightly. The canid turned his gaze to Ulver and offered a small nod of graditude before shifting his gaze away again, "Well let's keep moving then." He suggested lightly.

They make it to near the end of the trees. Just out a bit is the lake. A few of the pack wolves can be seen, along with the betas, who are on high alert. The other wolves seem to be minding their own business. “Well, here we are.” Felan whispers. “That’s the lake right there, how do we plan on doing this?”

"Do you know how their patrol's work? Ideally we will time this in such a way that they are spaced out and can't see the lake. What well will do is go ahead and smash the beans and place it in moss, and so when it's clear we run in and toss it into the lake, then we sneak away."

“Well, if I’m correct, today is a hunting day. Meaning the betas and the hunters will be leaving soon to hunt for the pack.” He looks around, “I don’t think the other wolves are too concerned.” Sirhaan turns to him, “What about the Alphas?” “They don’t go, and he usually keeps one of the betas around. However, with all the others gone, it would buy us time.”

They waited there patiently as the wolves gathered. The alpha gave orders, and then they were off. Heading in the direction of the hunting grounds. The Alphas and the remaining Beta turned and walked away into a den. “Now might be a good time.” Felan said.
