In the time the pack had been at the barn Beech had crept forward an entire inch, so close to the ground that her belly fur brushed the cropped grass.

Tom continued to lead the pack, "Beech keep up!" The small canid barked when he looked back to see her and Poker behind. "You too Poker," He added quickly before breaking into a fast canter. "Guy's it's not safe. You better keep up if you don't want to die." He growled to the others.

Vixen looked at Tom and Droplet, "Move the pack quickly, let me and poker deal with beech and the humans." Vixen warned them.

Poker ignored the male and went into the best sprint she could with half her body limp and her just getting dizzy by the minute. She semi roughly grabbed Beech’s scruff. Poker then lifted her head and trotted just barely holding Beech off the ground

Tom shook his head, "You're coming with us. The humans will most likely have guns. You're no match for them if so, no matter what you think." Tom growled, picking up his pace a bit more until they were heading quickly away from the ranch and the yelling.

Poker bit into Beech harder as a bullet grazed her side.

"I have experience with fighting humans and dogs. Now go faster." Vixen called out to tom as she stood still and let Poker catch up with Beech.

Tom flinched as a gunshot could be heard and watch as a bullet grazed Pokers side and embed its self in the dirt. Tom widened his eyes, "Run!" He called to the pack before quickly whipping around and running to Poker's side. "C'mon," The male whined, glancing back to see humans and dogs hurrying over the ridge. "We need to go!"

Vixen saw the humans then she ran off into the forest and then headed towards the humans. She got on a little hill and howled. She got the dog's attention and soon the humans and she ran with the dogs running after her.

“I’m fine Droplet said take his place which means guiding the pack” she Barked over Beech’s fur. Poker leaned into Tom as another 3 bullets were sent off. One in the dirt, one who knows where and another making Poker wince. “Keep going” Poker snarled to Tom “if u stay with me and live I’ll kill u”

Tom narrowed his eyes at Poker, opening his mouth to argue but shut his mouth and turned to Vixen's howl. "Great," He snarled. "She's going to get herself killed... Tsk- I'll send someone after her. Poker, just catch up with the pack, you have time now." He huffed before sprinting off. "Droplet, can you get Vixen?" He asked the male with a small whine, not even waiting for an answer before he darted off to lead the pack again.

Tom veered off in the opposite direction of Vixen. "Follow me," He called back, heading into the forest at a fast pace.

Poker yelped softly as she took a dive to her side being so dizzy. She forced herself up as the human was in view. At catching up she locked her jaws onto the gun best she could. Poker forced her jaws to lock up as the world began to go dimmer

Vixen stopped and looked back. The dogs and some of the humans were behind her. One of them tried to shoot her. Vixen dodged the shot. Vixen growled and ran past the dogs and headed for the humans.

The gun went off jolting Poker back from her falling. She tore her head Back taking the gun and she then knocked the human on their side with her legs. She went to another and shoved her head into their legs knocking them onto the other human as well

Tom finally slowed his pace once the pack was hidden in the forest. Only then did he look back and realize Poker wasn't with them. "Goddamnit," He spat, whirring around and heading back out to the forest line. Tom narrowed his eyes to focus in on Poker. The male saw that she was with two humans. Tom widened his eyes before throwing back his head and letting out a low howl, calling for her.
