'Come on,' Reika mentally told herself trying to calm down. 'I can do this.' The silvery-white female slowly tried to get up, her legs shook from the struggle to stand than falls over. Reika steals a glance at her leg only to grimace at the sight of the infection and the open wound. She lightly presses her nose around the area of the wound and whimpers softly as the pain spirals all across her body. Colorful spots contour the sides of her eyes and she grits her teeth from the pain of it all.
The female looks at Blade and Lucy and she was filled with determination. Wincing, she pushes to her three functional paws almost falling again in the process but quickly caught herself. "Come little ones," she said. "We shall get to safety and wait for the others there." Making sure the two pups were walking with her again, Reika walked on, her wound leaving a blood trail that didn't flow constantly but every few steps she took. Eventually, she came to a clearing edged with thick grass, dotted with tree stumps, and has a thick curtain of ferns and gorse shielding it. It is also surrounded by brambles, and the entrance is through a gorse tunnel. 'This will do,' Reika thought as her eyesight blurred. She staggered backward, her mind swirling, her breaths shallow until she fell in a heap to the grassing ground.

OOC NOTE - Word Count: 267 They split, Reika went with the pups while Seth headed off on a suicide mission. “Such a dumb plan but why not” he huffed. He walked around the facility. After 10 minutes of walking, he found some sign of potential holding areas. Rounding a few more corners he then came across a room full of guards. At least 4 if not more. He kept low and hidden so that he could inspect the room a little more.
As he looked around he noticed signs and monitors. Taking a look at the monitors he recognised a wolf. He needed to get closer but he couldn’t. He then looked to the right towards a heavy looking door, with a sign that read ‘CCTV IN OPERATION AT ALL TIMES’. “They love a challenge but so do I”.
His head snapped back towards the centre of the room as one of the guardsmen spoke, 'how many have we captured.’ The man looked around awaiting an answer. Soon enough another man came in to view. '27 so far'. Hearing the number had Seth whining. So many captured to these monsters. Even more reason for this rescue mission.
Seth headed off. Bide his time. Charging in without a plan was going to get them all killed. Something he couldn’t afford. He needed a win. So he found a small room opposite and waited. Keeping the door open just a crack to peer outwards for observations. He thought back to the door and sign. He needed to get in and have a better look around. And that was the first step in his plan.

Anik rises to his mitts, stalking closer to the door after a few moments pass. His heterochromatic gaze remains trained on the door, frame lowered ever so slightly to the ground in preparation to lunge. The sound of approaching footsteps and the clicking of what he assumes to be a man's claws - when really it's the boots - causes him to shift his weight between his haunches, his lip curling to reveal sharp ivories.
The door opens, revealing the human that had taken his father's body away. Anik wastes no time, leaping forward with his paws outstretched. The human releases a noise of surprise as the lupine leaps from the shadowy corner of his enclosure, making contact with his torso and shoving him to the ground. Anik bolts out of the door, keeping his legs out of reach of the man before ducking into a corner to hopefully stay out of sight, ears pricked and tail between his hindquarters. He knew his idea wasn't a wise one, and he'd likely be caught once more, but he was too panicked to think it through.

Lucy and Blade laid down next to Rei on each of her side. Blade looked at Rei and saw her leg. "That looks nasty, what happened?" Blade asked as he looked at Rei. Lucy got up and walked over to Blade. She then laid down leaning onto Blade for comfort. Blade laid still for her.
Vix was getting more irritated and anger at the humans. She howled out of irrigation and anger. she decided to get some sleep hoping to calm down before she hurt others around her and those she cared about.

OOC NOTES - Word Count: 405
After what seemed like a while most of the guards seemed to have cleared out. With the last guard gone the male shot out from his hiding space and darted in to the security room. With the door shutting softly behind him. He walked around, observing the detail of each item. Anything could indicate where they are or where all the wolves have been held, Hell it may even inform him of why they were taken in the first place.
Seth headed from left to right going around the room. There were 2 metal desks with monitors on them sitting off to the side against the groggy wall. Each monitor displayed something different. On the screens Seth noticed numbers. 1 through 35. Was it the cage number or what guard was working where? He made a mental note to come back to the numbers on the screen.
Moving further around the room he saw something pinned against the wall. A rota? For the guards. The pages had days and times with names on it. And a block number it seemed. There was also a building plan of the facility, showing how big the property was. Seth had a look at the rota. On Monday to Friday, it seemed as from 8 am till 11 am 4 guards were assigned to patrol the lower faculty while another 4 were assigned to patrol the upper facility. With their breaks being between 11:15 am & 1 pm. On the weekends it was laxer. With only 2 guards patrolling the upper and lower segments.
Seth then moved on to the layout of the actual building itself. It was big but labelled. This was making it just too easy. The guards he could handle with ease. His attention and eyes were drawn to a part labelled in green saying ‘WR’. He could only assume that meant white river. It seemed as though they were in ‘BLOCK C’. He heard rustling and footsteps with muffled voices and shot a quick glance at the rest of the layout. It seemed to be in the upper part of the facility and the control room was the centre.
He then turned around and sprinted out and towards the room opposite to hide. Sliding into to the small space he turned around just in time to see 2 guards walking back into the control room, shutting the door behind them. Now he was getting somewhere.

Reika, barely conscious, had heard both Blade's question and Vix's howl in the distance. "An injury that I don't have time to heal," she answered softly, her voice a little hoarse. She would have to go for a little while without her leg getting any treatment as it was still too dangerous to go out. Reika shifts her position the best she could where she could see the two better. "Why don't you get some rest. It'll be a while before everyone else comes." She says then looks around for Stinging Nettle and Catchweed burrs. Finding only Stinging Nettle, but it was a small amount, the silvery-white, dark grey and white female pushes to her paws a little easier than before and collects the herbs she needs.
Acquiring the item, she lays back down next to Blade and Lucy on her flank and starts chewing the leaves and stems into a poultice and then put it on her leg, wincing from the pain. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough to fully cover her wound as it was bigger than she remembered it was. Finishing her task, she felt as if my lungs were slowly filling with water as if there was just less space in them for the air. Her eyesight blurred again and she tried to keep her eyes open, she really did. But it was so hard, the female felt so tired. Everything became fuzzy for Reika; then she saw nothing at all. Her consciousness was floating through an empty space filled with a thick static. Throughout the inky space, her heartbeats pounded loudly, echoing in her ears. Feeling in her body drained away until finally, all was black.

OOC NOTES - Word Count: 1110 15 minutes ... 15 minutes and no one came in or out of that room. Seth began to grow impatient. It was surely bound to be a matter of time before someone had to come into the room that he was occupying. By then it would have all been for nothing, just a waste of time if he was caught now. The lupus racked his brain for some ideas that he could use for back up plans. He then cast his mind back to the drawing plans of the facility.
He needed to plan a few routes throughout the area. Seeing the rota & design plans helped. However, remembering back to his arrival, he remembered that the guards in those areas changed shifts 4 times a day with 2-3 guards going at one time. So maybe he would have to take a few more precautions. Another point he had to keep in mind was the advanced technology. It wasn't just a simple and quick in and out. They had exits covered left to right and centre. Along with merciless men that would kill first then asks questions later. For them, it most likely didn't matter who or what got hurt in the long run.
Taking this time that he had, the wolf got out of the small cupboard and tried to pick up anything that could potentially help. He started by heading towards the left and rounding a corner only to see that a few feet away was a door. A big, heavy metal door. Rooted through and through. He rolled his eyes releasing a ragged breath only to then breath in to try and calm himself. If these were the doors that they had it was going to pose as a challenge and a difficult one at that. 'How am I suppose to get past that?!'. He then turned and headed back the way he came, back towards the small cupboard he was hiding in.
The hazel lupus carried on walking down the stretch of misty corridor. His claws gently scraping the cold stone surface beneath him. Not much different to the cell he was in. The walls were pasty and filled with .... bullet holes. Taking a closer look Seth noticed claw marks & leant forwards to smell the wall. Bleach. The same as the cage they had him in. He didn't want to but having smelt that left him to think the worse.
The males head swivelled around as shouting could be heard from the CCTV security room. Taking this opportunity he bolted towards his small cupboard and hid inside. He stayed close to the wall, keeping the door open so the guards were visible and he could hear what they were discussing or rather shouting about. The male flinched as 2 heavily built guards came running towards the security room door, banging furiously on it. Seeing the door swing open he lowered down so the light would not reflect in his misty orbs.
'MAX! DAVID! Get the trucks ready and loaded! Bring them round to the front gates.' The Head Security Guard shouted as he answered the door. 'You are telling me that 3 measly little wolves have somehow escaped?' The other guards who had their backs to the sire replying shakily. 'Y-Yes Sir.' They then stepped back, towards the side, allowing the wolf to see the entrance to the room. The wolf jolted violently as a siren/alarm resonated through the corridor.
'Protocol 7! I repeat protocol 7! - Escapees, #999 , #1376 & #126' The HSG announced in to the radio. 'I need you two to remain here and inform me if ANYTHING & and i mean ANYTHING occurs, Got it?!' Both men nodded and headed into the security room. 'Welp there goes my chance' He thought and sighed keeping an eye on the guard that was still outside the small cupboard. The brutes fur stood on end now knowing that a full on search party was out for them. Shoot first - Ask questions later. He didn't like their odds.
A few moments later, heavy grounded thuds could be heard etching closer and closer. Seth stopped breathing momentarily. 'Ah, just the man for the job. Thank you for coming down straight away Liam.' The HSG clasped his hands together as the thuds landed right outside his hiding spot. 'What's the problem?' The tone of voice and scent had the wolf looking up. Unable to stop himself he saw who this 'Liam' was. Dauntless. Seth accidentally backing up rather too fast bumping into a bucket causing it to topple & fall over. Hitting the ground had the men distracted and now looking at the entrance to the small space. He watched as the only door in or out creaked open allowing the light to infiltrate the darkness illuminating the space.
Seth crouched down staying low to the floor, with his legs tucked beneath him and tail slightly curled beside him. He waited for the door to open enough so the glow of his hazel eyes was visible and then he took the chance to make a move. Unsure of what the men were expecting made their reactions delayed. He pushed off with all fours and barged past Liam who was peering into the room slightly, causing the HSG stumbled into the wall behind and fall. Making a run for it, he skidded along the floor trying to turn round the men heading right then left to get to the long connecting corridors.
"BLOCK C... BLOCK C", He panted as he urged his legs to carry him down the narrow path. Not looking back he focused on moving forward. His ears flickered as 'Liam' could be heard hollering orders. 'GET THAT WOLF! Escapee #1376 heading towards section 4, Block B.'
After a few feet another corner comes up and he turns to take a sharp left resulting with him bumping into the wall. A chorus of steps was heard clambering down the stone pathways. Not for one moment does he stop. The sire charged forth, now leading the chase. Nowhere, in particular, was he headed but he had an idea and began searching for something that could direct him towards the opposite end of the facility. Away from where the others were. Perhaps this was the rescue mission. After running for a few moments he turned down another corridor that directed him back toward block A. Smoothly turning the corner he came to a sudden halt before almost cascading into a barrage of bodies lined up. Now he was in trouble. Turning to head back the way he came had him face to face with another barrage of suited bodies.

Anik bolts out of the shadows when he doesn’t hear any approaching or departing pawsteps, his ears pricked alertly and hackles raised. The sound of his claws clicking against the tile flooring resonates through the empty corridor; tail tucked beneath his hindquarters and frame low, his posture is one of fear.
How do I get out of here? I need to get to everyone else! His mind races with panicked thoughts, but he doesn’t stop once. Practically sliding along the linoleum flooring with each turn, Anik is quick to scramble back to his paws and continue forward.
Not once does he look back, not concerned with anyone or anything behind him. It was too late to go searching for Yakone, he’d caught the scent before the elder was removed from their containment unit.
The dark furred stag slips into a new hiding place as the rapid sounds of human pawsteps near, eyes wide and sides heaving with his effort to breathe and keep his pants silent. The canine’s heart hammers against his rib cage, the rank scent of fear contaminating the air surrounding the male. The humans couldn’t smell it, so Anik was safe.. right?

Aurora stood at the back of her cage, her amber, green flecked eyes filled and wide with fear. She crouches her back pressed against the back of the cage, tail tucked and ears flat. She wanted to get out of this place and be far away as possible. Aurora flinches and whimpers as a human passes by her cage and laughed at the position the young wolf was in. "Seems this one knows her place," The human said getting down to her level, an unsettling smile on his face. He heard about the escaped wolves but remained behind in order to watch over the one currently cowering in fear. Aurora heard the wolves escaping and wondered if they were her packmates and began to hope they would come and get her out of this place.
The human in front of her opened her cage and she tried her best to stay away from him but it was useless as he reached inside for her and grabbed her by the collar. Aurora had been too scared to attack and now she struggled to be let go and soon found herself, not only on the floor but her collar pulled off. Not wanting to get captured again, Aurora ran out the still open door. The human picks up a small radio and starts talking into it. "#719 has escaped! I repeat, #719 has escaped!"

OOC NOTES - Word Count: 812
2 Barricades, fabricated of people fully geared up. From head to toe. Seth had to be cautious. One wrong move would have them charging full force at him with no mercy shown. A question came to the forefront of his mind. Egotistical or Attentive? Play it smart or play it dumb. The sire looked around keeping a wary eye out for a few men in particular. Men equip in another type of gear. More ... more ... bulky .... no, no, not bulky.... padded? Holding what Seth thought was a special type of stick, made of metal.
A memory resurfaced, back to authority and obedience. A time when the guards kept control over him. Him running at the dauntless man, a body suit. A collar & muzzle. The last thing he remembered seeing was the cold blaze of hatred and pleasure in the terrorizers eyes and the words spoken ‘1376 secured.’ That was a prime example of when his ego got the better of him. Going in for the obvious yet stupid attack that was a trap.
With him now back in the present, the wolf swished and flicked his tail. They liked to play games ... so a game they'd play. Looking from side to side then behind to the wall, the brute lowered himself to the floor, as he continued, he flattened his ears so they rested against his head. As his body approached the floor, he managed to tuck in his fluffed tail so it sat beneath him.
Staying observant, the barrage of men began to close the distance, not by much though. For the most part, they were smart enough to keep a safe distance. As the sire watched, he whimpered very slightly. A platoon of men branched off of the right side. With this, he increased his act of a fearful, cowering and afraid wolf. 5 steps he allowed them before he started up, releasing a bark then arching his head down and snarling whilst shuffling back a few centimetres with his fur raised.
Seth positioned himself so he had an eye line of the gap where the platoon of men was a few minutes prior. He flickered his eyes back and forth between the platoon and the gap that was being closed by troops filtering in. Coming to a dilemma, if he continued and the platoon got any closer it wouldn't end well for him, he was outnumbered, even though a group of men had split off and gone else where. Perhaps one of the other pack members got out?
The small platoon was made up of regular guards. So what was stopping him from attacking? One good bite was all it took. He ... no that was against everything he believed in. He wanted peace. No matter how much these people had hurt him, they didn't deserve this. They were just doing as they were told.
In that one moment throughout space and time, everything stopped. Each and every guard froze along with time itself. As if a mysterious force washed over them. To the right side, Seth became vigilant as the barricade of men was smoothly parted down the middle, not by much but enough of a gap for him to fit through.
He sprung back to life, immediately losing the facade he once wore. With all his might & energy he pushed off and directed himself to the parting. Carelessly throwing himself at the possibility of being free, and forgetting to ask himself why this had just happened. Always making the same mistake. Acting first then asking the questions later. Sometimes chances had to be taken.
The Canis Lupus bolted through the gap only to run head first into another blockade. This time it was one man. '#1376 Going somewhere?' Seth stood tall, holding his own. One man was not getting in the way of saving the pack. A man he once associated with fear, he now associated with hatred and retribution. 'He was the one who told them to stand down ... that's why I had an easy escape' The thought popped into the Seth's head. Anger bubbling out of control and boiling over Seth launched at the monster. The full force of the rabid wolf had the monster landing harshly on his back, a crack being heard as the monster's head collided with the stone floor, with the brute on top of him panting from anger.
Seth looked down briefly at the smell of blood. What had he done? He just killed someone. He turned to see 3 troops charging towards him. He bolted, full speed in any direction to get away. Running away from his problems.Leaving the man laying in the pool of his own blood on the floor, alone. He had to get away from what he had just done. Fear of himself shinning evidently in his misty orbs.
