Droplet smiled thinking about the idea. "Sure." he nodded.
The wolves made it to the village. Overwhelming smells of cookies - Sugar cookies, snicker doodle, chocolate chip, and many more. A lovely melody could be heard ♪ Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree for me
Been an awful good girl. Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight ♪
The male cocked his cranium sideways. "What is a .. San-" before Droplet could finish, a child gasped and dropped his ice cream. His eyes were lit up with pure awe. "P-PUPPY!" he screeched before running to Poker and throwing his arms around her. "S-So cute!!"

Poker wagged her tail happily at the child’s touch. She nuzzled the small human remembering a small human like this from her time in the lab. Poker licked his face and made now whining sounds as if she was a puppy greeting her mother. Poker lowered her body snuggling her face into the boys shoukder happily. She didn’t like to tell anyone but Poker adored human children.

Hearing the young human child, Reika jumped. She wasn't expecting such a reaction from a human child and this reaction had caused her pups to stop playing and hide behind her legs. Maybe bringing them wasn't much of a good idea.
Lucia peeked out from behind Reika's leg and looked at the child, her ears pinned. "Mama, what's that hugging, aunty Poker?" she asked. Her siblings also peeked out from behind Reika, though still somehow hidden with the snow. "Is it hurting her?" Akira asked.
Reika shook her head to Akira's question. "That is a human child, though I think this one is a little too happy and no, he is not hurting aunty Poker."

The boy hugged Poker for a few more seconds then stepped back, looking at the wolves. "Are you guys hungry? Mama made a new batch of cookies!" the child chuckled before continuing, in a hushed tone. "Santa won't mind."
Droplet looked back at his pack mates with a confused look. "Should be go?" the male mused, contemplating about scaring the child off. No - he knew he couldn't. That would be stupid.

Looking at the small child; the smile on his face was adorable and it melted Reika's heart. Looking at her packmates, the human and her pups Reika sighed quietly. "Honestly, it would break the child's heart. He's already fond of Poker," she said and walked over to Droplet, her pups following almost in her shadow.

Droplet nodded before gesturing his head for the boy to show us the way in hopes he'd understand. As the boy started to walk, the brute looked around warily. "Maybe these humans aren't so bad, but keep your eyes peeled." Droplet said as the child stopped in front of a building that said "Lani's bakery"
"This is it!" he said joyously. "Don't worry girl, (Poker) Ill give you extra.. I'm Tim by the way."
Tim smiled once more before going inside the building. "Mama look at this!" he called out, soon returning with a lady who smelt of raw cookie dough. Her eyes went wide in shock. A small smile appeared on her face.
The mother looked at Tim before playfully rolling her eyes. "You think those are dogs?" she giggled
"Uhh.. Yeah! Look at how stunning they look!"
"Well, they are stunning, but -" She stopped for a second, taking a small breath. She knew she couldn't tell her child that wasn't a dog. "Stunning dogs."
(I only said this cause Poker was being nice to the boy LMAOO

Poker followed the boy happily. Her tail wagging. Upon seeing the women poker lowered her body to the floor. She didn’t wanna be a threat. Her tail wagged happily as she looked at the boy. She stood and booped the young boy on the nose with her snout before nuzzling him once again

The mother smiled at the abnormally large female, and put her hand out so that the wolf could smell her, then she pet Poker. "I'll go get you guys something special. - Tim, stay here please."
Tim nodded before opening his mouth to speak, but his mother was long gone - so instead, he settled down on the steps leading into the bakery. Tim's mother emerged with a tin full of cookies. "Here you go." she smiled, putting the cooking down on the hard earth."

Poker wagged her tail and laid down next to the boy. She laid her head in his lap and rolled onto her back. Once the cookies came out Poker turned to the tin and laid down with her nose on the very edge of it. She sniffed them wildly almost trying to inhale them.

Reika watched the exchange as she sat not that far and not too close to the humans, her pups either hiding or playing with each other. Her stomach shifts uneasily and she notices that her muscles were tense. Reminding herself that nothing bad has happened as of yet, she relaxed her muscles and glanced at her five children as a constant need of reassurance.
The twins, Lucian and Lucia were wrestling, lightly biting and pinning each other. Akira was trying pouncing on Reika's tail and she flicked it back and forth every time he was about to pounce on it. Kodi and Eyota were burying their faces in Reika's belly fur, sometimes looking up then hiding again.

Droplet sniffed the cookie suspiciously before licking the round object - mmmm, it was delicious. The large brute looked towards his packmates with a smile before nodding to them. "It's safe."
The boy had a large smile on his face as the wolves ate their cookies. "Its good, right? Mama makes the best cookies in town." he said, getting up and running deeper into town. "Don't worry! I'll tell everyone of your presence so they don't freak out. everything will be okay.''

Poker grabbed a cookie in her jaws and Pranced after the young boy into town. “Catch y’all later!” She barked as she met up to the boy and followed close to his side. Her tail wagged gently.

Hearing that the cookies were safe and so was the situation, Reika visibly relaxed and got stood up. She walked over to the thing with the cookies and snagged a few-like five. She dropped one in front of the twins, one in front of Kodi and Eyota and one for Akira and ate the other two. The pups took tentative bites our of the cookies, finding that they liked them, and ate them as well.

Droplet nodded to the boy, keeping silent, for he knew the boy couldn't understand. He blinked as Poker walked away with the boy - who was screaming "Everyone! Everyone! come out and see what the New Years have brought us!!" Slowly, one by one, villagers came out. Some confused, but most excited.
Droplet's jaw practically dropped as he saw more humans coming out. Kids, ran up to Poker and Reika, hugging them senseless. "Uh-" he mumbled.
Music played softly along the town, bright, colorful lights were on every house. It seemed to go on forever. The male watched in awe as the villagers spoke quietly to one another.

Reika blinked, not expecting to be hugged by the kids but didn't make any moves to dislodge them either. "I guess I could get used to this." She said, tail wagging, slowly. A few tiny growls had her look down at her pups, seeing them somewhat tugging on the childrens' pants legs. "Don't hurt mama," they were saying.

Droplets orbs were shining bright as the children ran up to him. He let out a small grunt as they tugged on his ears and whiskers. The male let out a low growl, but quickly stopped himself. He didn't want to appear as a threat - not with all these adults around. Instead, he flashed his large ivories, in attempt to scare the children off.
The kids exchanged glances. 'yess it worked.' Droplet said mentally. No, it didn't. The children screamed with laughter - they had found it amusing. "What's so funny?" he scoffed

"Don't do that. They're not hurting me." Reika lightly scolded the five, gently snacking them off. "Why don't you cheer up uncle Droplet?" Her pups nodded, let go of the children's pants leg and ran over to Droplet. She whined as one of the kids scratched behind her ears. "Okay, that feels nice." She said, tail wagging.

Droplet sighed gently, giving in the the kids. The large brute rolled over, exposing his belly. The kids giggled loudly as the rubbed the wolves belly. "Ah- that's the spot" he muttered under his breath. Droplet let his tongue lolli from his maw. He was about to close his eyes when something - peculiar caught his eyes. "What is that?" he mused, getting up.

Reika licked both children on their faces as they scratch behind her ears causing both to laugh. "I guess they find you funny," she said, tongue lolling out the side of her maw. "I can get used to this." Her pups run over to Droplet then jumped on him yelling "We'll save you!"

Poker jumped around the kids playfully judging them and pausing and shaking her hind leg when they scratched behind her ears.
