Alika couldn't see what was going on, but a strong familiar - but unfamiliar scent caught her attention. She had been pacing - mostly out of anxiety. 'were they okay?' she would say to herself continuously. But something new seemed to be happening. Not entirely bad, but not 100% good. Were there more dogs there?

Yuki began to growl at the dogs but they didn't pay her any attention for now and went for the bear instead. "I am not going to complain about help nor am I going to even comment," Yuki said, watching the many dogs driving the bear back, some getting injured or knocked back but the force of their attacks never relenting. Growling slightly, she collapsed on her stomach panting.

Raven watched the unknown dogs. She didn’t like that there were more dogs so she growled slightly. She was gonna complain but she hated being surrounded by so many dogs. Raven tensed then She stood by Yuki and saw her collapse. “You alright?” Raven asked concerned.

Kajetan sets Alika down next to the other two, his sides heaving with each panting breath and fur bristled. His wary gaze follows the stranger canines, his stance protective as he stands between them and his companions. Watching as they go for the bear, one of his forepaws raise as if he’s itching to go after them.

Yuki glances at Raven, then the stranger dogs, then Kajentan. "Taking a bear swipe is not fun, especially when you hit something hard." She said, trying to stand only to fall over. Eventually, the large group of dogs drove the bear away with surprisingly no casualties and approached the smaller group of canines. One dog stepped forward; a light brown Great Dane with black splotches around his eyes. He has a dark brown snout, and wears a red beaded collar. "Who are you four and what business do you have in our territory?" He asked, calmly while the other dogs growled or glared at the small group.

Kajetan doesn’t relax at the growling, lips peeling back with a growl of his own as he moves to stand over Alika, as if to shield her from view. “Just passing through,” he mutters, untrusting gaze surveying the approached canines and hackles still raised.

One of the other dogs, an Irish Setter snorted. "Really, looked more like you were running with your tails tucked." Some of the other dogs laughed and Yuki growled. "If I remember correctly, I was trying to live." She snapped, attempting to stand.

Kajetan is quick to react, a snarl ending with a sharp bark aimed at the canine and baring his dangerous dentition. He straightens up, his full height of roughly eighty centimeters on display and “fluffy” fur bristled to make himself appear larger. “You want to run that by me again, mutt?”

The Irish Setter growled and was about to attack Kajetan but the Dane from earlier stopped him. "Enough, we're not here to pick fights." He said. "Before you four head on your way, there's something we could use your help with. Our leader is gathering dogs all across Japan to defeat a one-eyed bear called Akakabuto." "Ben why must we ask them? This group has nearly all females and you know females aren't great fighters." A Doberman said, looking at Alika, Raven and Yuki.

His scowl deepens at the suggestion, and he shifts closer to Alika. “The pup will not be going anywhere with you. Nor will I. You lot can surely handle a bear on your own, after what we’ve seen.” His nostrils flare, taking a subtle sniff toward the group before he shakes his head. “We wouldn’t want to travel with anyone who thinks so lowly of a female’s abilities, anyway.”

Yuki stiffened a little at the Dane's words. "Did this bear have brown fur and a red back?" She asked, quietly. The dane looked at her and nodded. "From what our leader has told us, yes." He answered and she cursed. "That's the bear from my dream." She said, more to Kajetan, Raven and Alika.

Raven growled lowly as she heard them say females weren't great fighters. She wanted to make him regret it but she didn't. Raven looked at Yuki after hearing that the bear they were going to fight was the one from her dream. Raven couldn't careless about the dogs after one of their comments. "They can deal with it themselves after seeing that. I don't want any part of it." Raven half said and half growled. Raven glared at the pack of dogs. She wanted to add on to her comment about them but she didn't for now.

Yuki glanced at Raven. "There's something telling me that we should help even if half of them are arrogant pups." She said to the other female and standing up, though a bit wobbly. "I'll help but I don't know about my packmates." The dane, Ben if she remembered correctly nodded.

Kaj still looks unconvinced, taking a step back from the strangers and closer to Alika. His movements are stiff, his tired yet wary gaze still trained on the new canines as if waiting for any reason to not trust them.

Alika had her tail tucked between her legs, as the larger dog peered in her direction. "Uhh-" she stuttered, walking backwards slowly. We're they going to hurt her? Fear could be smelt off of the small Shiba Inu as they continued to talk.

Yuki saw one of the dogs looking at Alika and glares at him. "They won't hurt you while we're here for you." She whispered to the Shiba Inu reassuringly. "Well if your friends don't want to join us then at least follow us back to our territory. All of you can't fight a bear and you, um.." "Yukiko," "Yukiko don't seem to be in the best position to fight with that bruise." Ben said and some of the other dogs grumble something but did comment.

Raven walked over to Alika as she saw Alika scared. "If they try to lay a paw on you run to me or Kaj and we will make them regret it." Raven said trying to comfort her. Raven could hear the other dog grumble after the one dog said something so she glares at them then looks to the one called Ben. "You should teach your troops to hold their tongue" Raven said rudely. Raven already hated them so she didn't care if she came of rude or even heartless to the dogs.

“They will not get near Alika while I’m still breathing,” he grumbles, his aggression still obvious in the way he holds himself. “We won’t be going anywhere with you,” He snips, tail lashing, “you’re still strangers.”

Ben looked at Raven and Kajetan. "If you so wish and I don't exactly control them but they know when to listen." He said turning to glare at his packmates who avoided his gaze, their ears flat and tails tucked. "We may be strangers but we have not attackes you nor made any threats to you either." He said turning back to the smaller pack. "If you don't want to follow us back to our territory, you should know that there are many bears in the area, whether it be Madara, or Akakabuto himself."

“I can handle a bear,” he grumbles, despite the tired look in his eyes and the fact that he’s clearly a good bit older than his companions. He wasn’t necessarily old, but at six years old he was getting there. “I’m not worried.”
