Reika, barely conscious, hears Anik's words even if they sounded far away and tried to stay awake but the pain in her shoulder and back wasn't helping. "I trust you An..ik." She said softly even though she was barely aware of her surroundings. After one last attempt to stay conscious but failed, Reika fully succumed to the black mists.
The wolves that had gone back to their densite after having no luck finding their target, found one of their packmates dead. Looking around again, they find that Reika is missing and that the intruder had been here. "Come on, they couldn't have gotten far." One wolf said and the others, except the omegas nod, the omegas did so hesitantly. Trying to be brave, the omegas and the others followed Anik and Reika's scent like they were on the hunt.

Vi growled and finally jumps at Diablo, He smiled and jumped towards her as well. Diablo pressed down on her Wounds. Vix bit his neck that was wide open. Diablo groaned in pain and jumped away from Vix. Vix let him go and she landed on her uninjured side. Vix struggled to stand up. Diablo was shocking his head as he got up. Vix looked at Diablo, "Can't you leave me and the pack alone?" Vix asked as she stared at him. Diablo growled. "Letting traitorous blood keep living is dangerous for any pack." Diablo said. "I'm just ending it." Diablo finished as he smiled. Vix growled but stayed where she was. Diablo didn't move either.

The wolves soon found Anik with Reika and started to surround the two, noting that the female was passed out. "So this is where our intruder has gone. Hand over our hostage and we might let you live." One of the wolves said while the few omegas that went along just growled but they weren't too threatening as fighting wasn't their specialty but looked ready to pounce if needed.

Vix growled and Just wanted to finish this so she could locate Anik and Rei to see if they were safe. Vix slammed herself into Diablo making him fall. Vix ran off to find the others to make sure they were off the territory. Vix hoped he wasn't following her. She stopped cuz of her pain and blood loss. Vix started to limp away fast.

Anik immediately stops when he notices the other wolves, his lip curling back in a snarl and ears shoving forward. “You’ll have to kill me first,” he snaps, a guttural growl leaving his figure as he carefully lowers Reika to the ground, never once leaving the other lupines.

The wolves, the ones who were eager for a fight which was only three, grinned and lunged at Anik. The omegas remained where they were, not sure if they wanted to attack or not but looked at Reika who was still passed out, or so they thought. She was slowly coming too but was still going in and out of consciousness. She was determined to not pass out again but that was only working.

Anik was quick to react, raising up onto his hind legs and lashing out with his forepaws, aiming to rake his claws along the faces of at least one of their attackers as he drops back down.

One wolf yelped as he gets his face clawed and jumps back to try and see while the other two continue their pursuit. The stop however when a silvery-white blur whizzes past and tackles one and snaps his neck. Reika tosses the body to the side then goes for the other wolf. She feinted toward his head by rearing up on her hind paws. As he reared up with her,she dove at his paws and he lost his balance and toppled forward. As he fell, she waited underneath him with her legs braced. Once he hit her back, she compressed her legs before pushing straight up, sending her opponent flying into the air. The wolf landed on his back, the wind knocked out of him and not wasting any time, Reika went to him and snapped his neck.

Vix heard wolves fighting and she groaned. Vix arrived and saw Rei and Anik fighting. Vix limped over to Anik and Rei. “get out of here guys.” Vix warned them. She had a feeling that Diablo was following her so he was gonna arrive sooner or later. Vix was planning to buy them more time.

Reika stayed where she was not because she was in pain. She wanted to help her friend. "But...I want to help you." She said but she then glanced at her injuries and grimaced. "I'm still not gonna leave you." She was determined to help and she wasn't gonna let Vix handle these wolves alone. It was like a kamikaze mission.

Anik pauses, turning his head to look at Vixen. “You’re hurt too.”
His ears flatten, an apparent frown on his face as he steps closer. “You two get out of the territory and I’ll meet you back either near the White River border or camp. Out of all of us, I’m in the best shape. I can keep the other wolves distracted.”

"We should make a break for White River. Even with the three of us, we're still outnumbered." Reika said as she watched the two remaining omegas run back to their densite with their tails between their legs. "We stand a better chance with our pack than with most of Diablo's," she then began to lick her wound the best she could.

“They would only follow us plus I can’t run in this state.” Vix said as she still kept an eye out for Diablo. She looked at the others’i need to get them out and fast. They got hurt because of me again.’ Vix thought to herself as she shook herself.

Reika looked thoughtful for a moment then gasped, an idea popping into her head. "Maybe we can wash our scent away in a lake or something and just play it safe like a game of keep away or somethin." She said. It was worth a shot. "What do you lot think? Its our only shot." She asked looking at Anik and Vix.
