A new wolf has appeared on White River territory in the form of Aurora. Is she a threat to the pack? What's the story behind her strange behavior?

Aurora padded through the forest limping slightly due to the injury on her back left foot, her mind, body and eyes weary from her long journey. She longed to take a break and sleep but she knew that even if she did, her nightmares would just come back. Deciding to take a break and lay down, the young female laid down in a small hole at the base of a tree and curled up but didn't sleep for fear of having more nightmares.
Reika had just caught a rabbit when a strange scent filled her nose; its a wolf, and female at that. After burring the creature for later, the lota made her way back to the pack. Upon entering the densite, she begins her search for Droplet. Of course she knew the male would like to know about a possibly dangerous stranger on the pack's territory.

Droplet had been on a patrol, marking territory. His nare sniffed the ground occasionally for anything new. Nothing. The brutes pillars worked quickly as he finished up his rounds. A small yawn emerged from his maw - but this time, he smelled something strange.
Droplet couldn't quite place his paw on the scent, but for now, he would shake it off.

Aurora smelt another wolf not far from her position and moved to stand up on her paws. The young blue-black juvenile, began to walk only to realize that the other wolf was closer than she thought and tried to run off but something in the back of her head told her to stand her ground which caused her to stop in her tracks.
Realizing that the wolf she was looking for was not at the densite, Reika then also realized that the male had gone out for boarder patrol and and mentally snapped at herself than made her way back to where she had come at a brisk trot.

Vix stepped out of the den her see Droplet leaving the densite. Lucy and Blade jumped out of the den and started to run around playing. Vix smiled at them. "Don't be too loud. I'm gonna go hunt something for you two so behave while I'm out." Vix said. "Ok mom." Lucy said as she pinned Blade. "No promises." Blade joked as he pushed Lucy off. Vix smiled then left the densite to hunt.

Droplet flicked his audit as he saw Vixen head towards the thicket. The brute let out a sharp bark directed to her, then flicked his tassel, wanting her by his side. He was planning on sharing his thoughts with her about the whole situation - who knows, Droplet could need help.

With her internal battle being interrupted, Aurora then smelt another wolf and decided to go meet these wolves head on but not engage them in battle unless they attacked first. As she walked, she didn't expect to step on a stick and cringed at her lack of perception.
Reika soon found Droplet and Vixen not too far away and ran the rest of t way over. "Let me guess, you smell the stranger wolf as well." She said to the alpha, then casting her gaze to where she hears a twig snap to see a younger female approaching and went on the defensive.

Vix approach Droplet and tensed ready for anything to help. Vix caught the scent as well. "Should I go check it out first?" Vix growled lowly as she keep an eye in the direction of the scent was coming or going.

Reika glanced at Vix and shook her head. "I don't think there's a reason." She said inclining her head to the approaching stranger. A metallic scent caught her nose and looked at the younger wolf-pup really- a little more concerned. "He or she is injured."
Aurora approached the three older wolves, her stance guarded. "Is there something I can help you with or am I intruding on your territory?" She asked, her voice sounding more mature than what she currently looked like.

Droplet opened his maw to reply, but quickly shut it as the outsider advanced toward them. The brute held a hegemonized stance. Quickly scanning the dame, the golden and black Alpha flicked his tassel to silence his packmates. "You've stumbled upon White River," The male said, his keen eyes locked on the younger.
"Allow me to introduce myself.. I am Droplet, Alpha of the here pack." he paused several moments before continuing "And you are?"

Vix relaxed and looked at the wolf-pup. Vix watched the wolf-pup every move. Vix sat down and stayed silent for the time being.

Aurora looked at the three older wolves weary but didn't make any threatening movements least they attacked but she was sure she might win if they did. "My name is Aurora. I'm sorry for intruding." She said, having a heavy Australian accent.
Reika was silently wondering what had happened to this pup to have such a guarded posture, hollowed eyes and scars like those. 'What has happened to this pup?' She thought, with a sympathetic expression.

The Male woke hearing distant voices. One of which he recognised. It was droplet. Seth began to open his eyes allowing them to adjust to the intrusion of light. Stretching his paws and back he slowly rose and walked around. Soon he went to join the alpha seeing what was up. His face neutral and somewhat tired. With a lax posture.

Aurora heard another wolf approaching before she saw him and backed up a little, curling her lip in slight snarl. 'There are getting to many.' She thought, her breathing and heartrate becoming quicker, her eyes wide. 'Stay back, please.' She kept repeating in her head.
Reika looked at the younger with concern. "Guys, please, she's nervous." She said glancing over to her packmates with a warning look. "Don't crowd around."

Droplet turned his audit towards the sound, put quickly turned it back as the newcomer made a sudden movement that had caught his attention. "No worries." he nodded, sounding a bit suspicious, but not worried at the slightest. As the dame curled her lip, Droplet's tail flicked gently to a fro' "Seth, keep your distance, before she runs off.. that goes for you too, Vixen."
"What brings you here, Aurora?" he paused for several seconds, his facial expression turning a bit worried "Did something chase you here?"

As he approached Seths ears flickered to the male that spoke and he shot a quick glance towards the nervous female. He nodded and flicked his tail as he put distance between them laying down and cleaning his paws with a relaxed posture.

Aurora glanced at the older wolves still nervous but had some fear in her eyes. "I was hoping finally be away from this lab. Thankfully no one was chasing me." She answered, her voice soft.
Reika stiffened at the mention of a lab and was angered that Aurora had to go through something like that. "Humans," she muttered to herself with low growl.

Vix stayed where she was and looked at the young wolf. She heard her say escaping a lab then Rei saying Humans. Vixx flicked her ear at that word. Her relations with humans hasn't been that great.

"Vixen" Droplet sighed, flicking his tassel irritated. "Why must you be so stubborn?" he mused gently, keeping his gaze locked on the younger - willing to change the subject before Vixen started to rant.
The male let out a small amused huff, turning to face the Iota. "Reika, take her in for an examination, will you?"

The male continued to clean his paws listening to the conversation every now and again to see what was happening. Not that it interested him. He then got up walking towards droplet. “Now what?” The wolf asked boredom laced throughout his voice.

Reika nodded and cautiously walked up to the younger wolf and lightly nudged her shoulder. "Come, I'll help you." She said and began to lead Aurora to the densite.
Aurora flinched a little at the touch but didn't snap at the older wolf not wanting to get in trouble. Stiffening a little, she follows the older female to what she could assume was their densite.
