It has been a few months since Reika had seen her former mate and was wondering how he was doing after all this time. She knew that from what her brother, Lyall had said he was fine but she just wanted to know how he's been since she left and hear it from him. Looking at her currently playing pups, she smiles as she knew they would like to know their father even if for one, he isn't her actual father. Reika sighs and places her head down on her paws, tail flicking from her place outside the den.

Early morning condensation splashed Droplet's nose, making him wrinkle his snout in shock. The frigidness hitting his skin made him flinch ever so slightly. The males golden optics opened slowly, followed by a few blinks to shoo away the last traces of drowsiness. Annoyed, he then gingerly placed his nare against his partners ( Umi) flank. "Good morning, my love." he managed to say, with a smooth masculine like tone. A few seconds had passed before Droplet had slowly, but gradually pushed to all fours. "Fortunately, we have something to look forward to today. I don't know what, but it's just a gut feeling." A large yawn erupted from the males maw, exposing his blood stained canines. "Come on, sleepy head." he teased gently, nudging the damsel. "Don't make me groom you, missy." (I'm back!) |

(We missed you!)
Anik growls lowly, an eye cracking open to lock his beryl gaze on the playing pups. He knew he couldn’t expect to sleep in any longer, but it wouldn’t been nice.
Heaving himself to his paws, he yawns, chest lowering to the ground and paws flexing as he stretches. Rather than lazing around any longer and watching them tussle, he pads out to join Reika and hopefully busy himself. “Something on your mind?”

Umi slowly opens her ice blue hues, half lidded at first, then fully to gaze sleepily at her now awake mate Droplet. The golden dame had been listening the whole time to her mate speak, proof being Umi’s audits flicking about, she just didn’t want to open her eyes yet. With a grown Umi stood adding a stretch and yawn, shaking her drowsiness off, “Groom me? That wouldn’t be so bad right about now.” She joked with a hint of truth in her tone. “And good morning to you too love.” Umi nuzzled Droplet under his chin before she continued to speak “Something to look forward to hm?” She echoed part of the golden-black brute’s sentence, “That’s a mood I can get behind.”

Reika looks up at the appearance of Anik and shrugged. "I've been thinking about Tao and was wondering how he has been doing since I left my old home." She said then looked at her pups as Eyota had pinned Lucian and he was struggling to get up. "It's been 4 5 months since then I think."

Droplet raised a brow, playfully pawing the damsels shoulder. "Later." he whispered in an exuberant manner. "Let's go check on Reika? Haven't talked to her in ages." The male started to ramble slightly followed by tender licks to the ear. "Oh- and Anik too of course. I want to see how he's holding up.. after the incident involving his father. I'm pretty sure he'll be there too, they're getting closer by the day. Just waiting for him to pop the question. "

Anik’s ears flatten at the mention of another male, head dropping to the height of his withers and paws shuffling in the dirt. “Isn’t he um- their-“ he nods toward the wrestling pups as he mentions them, stopping his words there. He knew he was probably digging some kind of hole for himself, so he stopped before he could make it any worse.

Reika nods at Anik's unfinished question then glances at him with a knowing smile. "Are you jealous, perhaps?" she teased seeing his actions. "Don't worry, Ani-kun, I moved on from him and found someone else." She moves closer to him then nuzzles his neck and lick cheek a couple times.
The six pups briefly glance up at their mother and father figure. The boys gag while the girls aww but soon returned to their game as if nothing happened.

The words are enough to make his tail start wagging, thumping lazily against the ground. The affection was a nice bonus, which he responded to with a quick lick between the ears, followed by a nuzzle. “Then why worry, IniKuk?”
An ear twitches in response to the reactions of the pups, though he doesn’t make any attempt to acknowledge them other than that. Besides, they were distracted soon enough. “You’re happier away from the humans, right? So why let it bother you?”

Reika whined softly, tail wagging. "I am happy away from the humans but I at least wanna give them the chance to see their father and maybe their grandparents as well." She said. "If your worried I would choose that life over being with the pack then you're worried over nothing. It's only just a visit." She gave him another lick on the cheek then glanced at the pups only to see five out of six. Akira wasn't playing with his siblings.
Reika began to panic and looked around for the small white and silver pup. 'How does one lose a mostly white pup?' She scolded herself mentally. A couple moments later, she finds her son laying a little ways from the others. Sighing relieved, she stands up, picked the small pup up then went back to her spot and set him down next to her.

Umi chuckles as her tassel swayed with delight. “Alright alright.” She paused briefly once Droplet mentioned Yakone “I too hope Anik and Reika arewell,” She shook off her momentary sadness and happiness reclaimed Umi’s features. “Indeed, closer by the minute those two have been getting.” The golden dame chuckles heartily at her own small joke. “It would be good to see another happy couple around here.” Umi padded a little ways ahead of her mate just to turn and look over her shoulder playfully at him “Wouldn’t you agree?”

“That doesn’t stop m-“ he goes to respond, head shaking as he turns his focus from the damsel. He was on his paws in an instant when he’d caught on to Reika’s panic, his ears shoved forward and tail curling above his hindquarters the best it can as if an attempt to make himself appear larger; more threatening, if you will.
He allows himself to relax only when she does, the alabaster pup now set nearby. Anik remains standing, however, and doesn’t continue his previous thought as he lowers his head to ensure the pup was fine; he knew very well that they weren’t his, but he still worried about them quite often. After a few sniffs and light nudges with his muzzle confirms that the pup wasn’t in any serious pain, or any pain at all, her returns his focus to Reika. “You’re sure you want to make the trip, IniKuk?”

Reika licks the top of Akira's head a couple times as a way to reassure herself he was fine. "Yes aejeong. I'm sure." Akira giggles at the light nudges from Anik and paws at his muzzle. "If more members came with us it would mean some extra help but with some hard work and determination, we'll do it." After she said that, the other pups besides Freya lay by her belly and nurse while Freya plays with Anik's tail and Akira soon joins her. "And have the occasional stop for this." Reika adds smiling at her four pups by her side and her oldest and youngest playing.

Droplet twitched his audits as his mate spoke, flicking his golden hues from her, off to the distance, and back. He hadn’t been giving his full attention to Umi, but rather something in the distance that had caught his attention. “Huh-“ he paused with a perplexed facial expression. “Mhmm” he continued, shaking it away quickly, nodding.
Droplet flicked the tip of his tassel heading out to be with his mate. “Come on” he teased, touching the tip of her shoulder with his tail.

"Don't worry Ani, everything will be okay as long as we don't do anything stupid." Reika remeasured the darker male, her tail wagging and smiling at the two pups playing with his tail. She twitches an ear at the sound of approaching pawsteps and looks up to see both Umi and Droplet approaching. "Annyeong Umi, Droplet. Joeun achim." She greeted the two alphas with a small bow of her head while Akira and Freya yip happily and run around their paws.

Anik yips when the two pups not nursing try to play, and he’s quick to lower into a play crouch, paws shuffling and head lowered to be level with the pups, tail raised and wagging behind him.
He’d spent a moment batting at the smaller figures, careful not to injure either, before straightening up immediately when he hears others approaching.
The dark male is quick to move behind Reika, standing ever so slightly over her as if in a protective stance as he locks his gaze on the approaching dominant pair. His posture—lip curled and hackles raised with a low growl sounding—relaxes, and he no longer looks the slightest bit aggressive when he realizes it’s just them. Rather than speaking, he bows his head in a greeting.

Droplet opened his maw and lifted his nare towards the sky, drinking the different scents. “Greetings.” The male called out from a distance, his tail held high dominantly, audits twitching alertly. “I hope we aren’t Interrupting your play session.” He continued, returning a slight bow. His gaze focused on Anik. “Umi and I have come to check on your well being, as I have neglected to do so for much time it seems.” — “is anything on your mind? You look troubled.” Droplet ended, asking the question more so towards the Iota. (Sorry for my grammar. I’m on mobile)

Reika laughed a little but covered it with a cough at Droplet's actions. The scene would've been serious had ot not been for the two pups running around his paws and saying "Uncle Droplet!". Smiling, Reika answers, "Everything's alright. Just thinking of planning to visit an old friend and maybe some family possibly and bring the pups as well." She then glances up at Anik and smiles but there was a glimmer of adoring in her gaze at the darker male.

He drops to sit behind Reika, tail thumping against the ground lazily and head tilting down to groom absently at her coat. His ears remain pricked to listen for whatever it was Droplet wanted, but he no longer looks at the other male. He knew they weren’t being threatened, so he couldn’t care less about what the alpha was doing.
A low noise of protest had rumbles from the bachelor at the mention of the mention of the trip, but he doesn’t say anything further. It was more nerves now, instead of a protest to the trip as a whole.

Umi rolled her ice blue hues seeing Droplet hadn’t heard most of what she said, but she wasn’t upset as she followed her mate downhill the the pair of wolves they were talking about. Umi had stood beside Droplet, her audits flickering at the conversation and replies. She smiled at the pups calling Droplet their uncle before the golden dame spoke up “A trip hm? Sounds exciting.” Her eerie blue optics searched the pair for a response, Umi saw Anik didn’t look too keen on the idea however, her audits twitched at the sound the brute made. “But is sounds like someone in particular isn’t?” She joked adding a questionable tone to the end of her statement as she could have been wrong.
