The West lines the ocean, having a constant view of the waters beyond the land. Storms take home to the West, and once the ran begins to poor- it does not stop. It's been known to go days at a time, and while some may enjoy the constant rain; the land does not. Floods threaten constantly, but even with the danger- sea life flourishes.
