Ari felt a warmth spreading through her fur as she watched the bird chirp and fly over the lake. She was happy to be able to roam freely now that she was a yearling, even happier that she was the white river pack, and her faster father is the alpha! When she said her thanks to Echo for bringing her here (@echo ) and leaned forward and licked her cheek Ari's nerves tingled in delight. Her touch left a lingering warmth on her face and she found herself purring at the feeling. If she could see her smiling like an idiot, it was on her ears, which she could feel flaring with heat. She felt embarrassed, giddy at the feeling he gave her. Ari ran across the sand her steps light to avoid making too much noise. She was free.. like nothing bad could happen. Finally after running, she caught the scent of a bird (Robin). Ari used her skills she learned, paused and raised her head, scenting the air to pinpoint the prey. Turning to her left, she checked to make sure she was downwind before continuing. Coming up behind a tree, she saw the bird pecking the ground in the roots, trying to find a worm. When it lowered its head to try and find food, she jumped from her hiding spot and landed on the robin right as it started to beat it's wings. Giving a killing bite. She looked around at Echo proud ''Did you see that?!'' she said bragging

Echo smiled as she watched Ari watch the birds chirp and fly over head, the Beta looked down at the yearling as she leaned over a licked her cheek with her pink tongue. lowering her head White she wolf returned the lick and nugged the pup to go and have fun. as she watched the yearling play in the sand she thought about her self and how her brother Kiaga was doing, she has not seen him around the camp at all, As she thought she glimpse Ari dispersing out of site in to the little grove of trees that srouned the pond. the Beta ears perked up as she herd a loud caw thin nothing... fearing the worst, she took a step forward about to run as she saw the yearling caring a medium size Robin her mouth. "Did you see that?!" she said bragging Echo walked up and sniffed the bird " nice job Ari!" she yipped licking Ari. she was proud of the yearling, "but your stance it a little high, remember to keep you rum low and your tail lower to the ground"

A tiny, lighthearted giggle escaped the wolf as she heard her name and the praise the older wolf had said. "If droplet is teaching me with my fighting skills can you teach me with my hunting and stalking?!" Barked the female with a slight purr, padding forward to slowly settle down next to the other packmate, she dropped the Robin at Echos paws. "I can always catch more. Betas eat first" she yipped happily and respectfully, She didn't mind if her question went unanswered, she was probably rather excited for having to pass down her hunting skills, which she didn't mind either. "The weathers nice today, I havent seen you around lately is everyone a-ok?" Asked the she-wolf with a tilt of her head, her eyes shimmering lightly.

*the large she-wolf watched Ari and Echo from the tree edge. She laid her head down and closed her eyes listening to the small birds singing and flying about her. Her ears perked forward as she listened to the 2 wolves talking and lifted her head observing them*

"Yes every thing is fine I just had to....um... go away for a little bit" Echo answered as she looked up at the sky her snow white fur shimmerd in in the morning sun, she got up and shook out her fur ridding her self of the dew that had collected on her pelt. " and yes the weather is beautiful" she added licking Aris pelt

Ari stared as Echo with wide, surprised eyes. She never believed that this wolf, the beta would leT ME eat first. "T-thank you" She stammered. The female ate the rabbit with the sweet, taste filling het mouth and clogging her senses. After she was done she looked around as if she was trying to find something.. "Do you smell that?" She paused "It smells like poker.. its still strong i just cant smell exactly where" she lifted her nose and looked at the tree poker was by but couldn't see her. "Maybe im judt smelling things". Ari looked at Echo with shining eyes "I HAVE 3 MENTORS NOW" she said bouncing up excited.

*Pokers ears flattened as Ari looked her way. She then trotted off away from the 2 and sat by river bed looking into the water. Her brown eye showed clearly in the water. The blue eye was almost part of the water, she sighed and laid down. Starting at the water she slowly drifted into a dorment mode at the waters edge*

"T-thank you" she yearling stammered as she started to eat, Echo just smiled and licked the back of Ari's head, the beta had watched the little pup when her alpha, Droplet had found the pup in the frigged winter snow a few month's back so Ari had become like a foster pup to Echo. she looked down at the pup as she sniffed the air. "Do you smell that?" She paused "It smells like poker.. its still strong i just cant smell exactly where" the Beta followed her and saw the black pelt of the Alpha female. she watched her as she got up and walked off.
" it is your mother," she said looking back down at the little yearling "i dont think your mom likes me that much" the Beta said under her breath as she smiled at Aris happy barking "I HAVE 3 MENTORS NOW" she said bouncing up excited. "yes..... you do" echo chuckled as she sat down

"i dont think your mom likes me that much" Aris eyes widened, "Dont be so ridiculous of course she likes you" She looked at the pained beta. "Well.. if she didnt like you, shes over there. You could always talk to her" She lookef at her mother who was staring at the river bank "Follow me" Ari said as she trotted next to Pokers side. "You look worried.. What happened?" Ari had said as she settled next to her mother

*Poker perked her ears as the pup came over. Then sat up,* "you look worried..what happened?" Ari barked sitting by her. "It's nothing to worry yourself about, good job with the bird" Poker smiled, she then resumed looking to the river as a light snow fell over the wolves.

As his deep golden gaze glided around the clearing, the alpha spotted his newest official yearling of the pack - the rogues having been allowed to stay, but still having to prove themselves in order to fall under the banner of WRWP. A small smile approached his maw, as he lerked around the riverbank. Sucking in a large breath for courage, he took his time approaching her as not to startle her, but also considering a quick and interesting opener. The two had not seen each other for a while, but as she looked down at the lake the female looked worried, he knew inside not to bother her so he let it go. The space between them, however, was soon gone, and Droplet was forced to blurt out the first thing that caught his tongue:
"Ice!" he almost-shouted, eyes now wide and ears perked as he surprised even himself with such a random word. Where does he go from here? What an absolute idiot - it was not like the usually-intelligent wolf, and as his whole mouth seemed to go dry in sudden panic, his shout was followed by a raspier tone: "... on the ground!" His own eyebrow perked, his muscles tensed, and his head dipped in anticipatory shame, "... There's ice... on the ground..."
Following up with a quick cough to awkwardly clear his throat, his ears flopped to either sides of his skull and his eyes - whilst not making full eye-contact - seemed to plead a soft 'please humour me'. Great start, you bumbling asshole.(Herzogin) PokerIm a bad roleplayer '='

*she looked to him confused as there was almost no ice on the ground and why he had reacted like so. Her ears settled and she sat up looking to Droplet*

*moon trotted to sit beside Droplet and she stared into the water* "your right poker there are a lot of fish" *the female barked and quickly shot her paw into the water catching a fish she looked over to droplet and asked* "are you hungry droplet?" *moon said trying not to be awkward*

Echo trotted over to where the 2 alphas we're "what are you talking about? There is no ice on the ground."the beta said as she stoped in frunt of her alpha droplet. cocking her head she watched him for a moment thin walking to the waters edge to get a drink as she was about to Drink her ears perked up as she heard the alpha female bark that there was fish in the water as sure enough there was fish in the water. Echo watched as moon walked up beside her and snatched a fish out of the water with her paw "nice going moon and a I'll take it" the beta said taking the fish and eating it.

She looked at Echo and and raised her head proudly "Thank you echo I hope you liked that fish" moon smiled, she shot her head around to see poker looking around randomly at the fish and trees like she was being watched "Poker?" Moon said trying not to be nosy "is everything alright?" She cocked her head

Droplet wasnt able to respond in time before his beta, Echo took the first. Though, he had to admit, yes, he was hungry his packmates had earned to eat first. He was proud. "I- uh" He stammered tryna think about what to say about the ice incident "Im sorry" he paused his ears slowly raising "I need some time to myself" he got up, leaving the group of wolves in confusion. He trotted off back to his den.

Moon coked her head "is everything alright droplet?" She trotted after him and then stopped "well I-I'm going to go hunting" she spotted an elk by the lake dipping it's head to drink she stalked the elk and then lunged at it ripping into its throat killing it she called after droplet "Alpha eats first!" She barked waiting for his answer
