“No well maybe...I’m not sure if i can...open up that deep for u (ferasing boom)it’s just I never have to any one..” her ears flattened as she stepped out of the water. Poker flicked her tail as she looked to ground soaked.

His eyes gleamed ''Its always good to try something new'' he smiled ''ill be that new thing..'' He looked at her ''Im not going to let you down.. what do you say, Poker?'' Part of him knew she would decline but he saw the good in her. ''Come on slow poke'' he joked while shaking the water off of him getting it onto poker, he chucked

She chuckled nervously and slowly walked with him with her head down. She didn’t shake off, every step water ran from her robotic legs. After a few steps the flower Droplet gave her fell, she kept walking slowly and sadly

As he told her to explain she sat down still staring at the ground with her ears down over her face. There was an oil trail behind her, she had been crying. Oil ran down her muzzle as she looked to the ground.

He walked by his mate, but the flower down ''Look at me Poker'' He waited until she did ''Its ok to tell me the truth, I promise you that relief will wash over you when you do'' He looked at the oil on her face ''Dont cry.. you are stronger than that, you know it, i know it, the pack knows it'' He licked her muzzle

“I want to say I love u but..I blocked those feels out a long time ago for reasons..along with those feels I blocked out everything connected to them!..even my fucking name..” she lifted her head up. “I feel like I’ve been treating u like a friend..yet u r more..u r my mate yet I’ve never treated u that way... u care like I haven’t cared since I was a pup..now realizing I’ve unblocked those feels and they drown me..along with everything else, memories...sad ones happy ones...the ones I wanna forget”

Dont block your feelings'' He looked at her in disbelieve ''your name is duchess..?'' he slowly nodded his head as he gained understanding ''You cant forget memories they will always be there, either they are happy or you learn from them, no such thing as sad ones'' He sighed ''I will help you create new memories.. just open up to me Poker.. “Well it’s Herzogin, my parents were German so my sibling and I had German names...I’m the only one alive still...” her ears fell flat.
“But I want to forget so very badly...I don’t want to never dream and when I do it to be my family getting ripped apart infront of me or my dad crying after mom died or the humans ripping me apart or my sibling bleeding to death next to me! I don’t fucking want it!!” She cried again. “I want to open up yet I still can’t..it feels...wrong to..to love u I guess...it sounds cruel..yet with how u see it..I’m just killing u slowly” she whimpered

His ears flicked in sadness ''Dont worry'' he nuzzled her ''Ill be here to help you through those tough times.. ill be there to help you not think about those memories'' He looked at the flower and back at her ''Ill protect you, nothing will touch you, nothing like that will ever happen again'' He rubbed against her side trying to calm her ''Its not wrong, Poker. Its not cruel, You'd never kill your family.. Im your family now..''
