She trotted after him with her head low and tears stained her muzzle as well as his chest

He took the wrong path home and went to the lake, he sat at the riverbank and looked into the water, tears dripping messing up his reflection

Her ears flattened and she came over and sat next to him. Her metal jaws opened as she yawned and looked into the water

''Poker..'' he trailed off lost in his thoughts ''if you dont want me by tomorrow i understand, im a mistake anyway'' He took the flower, walks into his den, put the flower by the elk leg and sat in a dark corner, curled up in a ball. The male cried himself to sleep.

Poker knew this was her fault but felt after this he would be better. She walked up to the den and spoted the male curled up in the corner asleep. As snow started she saw him shuddering. Poker trotted over and curled up with the make keeping him warm. She also half shut down so she could charge yet be waken up. She yawned and set her head on his back. Her belly was on his lower back and her head rested on his chest.

In the morning Poker had her ears flat and her was cuddled into Droplets chest. Her robotic front arm was on his side and her normal leg was around his waist. Her back robotic leg was under her and her tail was over his. There was a light snow outside.

He had slowly risen from a comfy but sad sleep. He didnt want to wake up poker, but she looked cold(?). He looked at the female his eyes in pain and sadness, he started to gently started to groom her body, mostly her head.

He licked her head once more and smiled "Ill keep you safe" he muttered

Poker snuggled closer and seemed to be having a nightmare at the moment. Her breathing picked up as she was sleeping and the knife in her robotic back leg came out. Her ears twitched wildly and so did her legs.

Now alarmed that pokers backleg knife thingy was swinging he nudged her gently "Poker, Poker" he looked at his mate "Please wake up, everything's fine"

She groaned as he nudged her. Suddenly her eyes shot open and her breathing was super fast,
“What the...oh god,” she shook her head and sat up.
“Just a dream..” she mumbled to herself.

"What was that all about?" He groomed her fiercely. "You wanna go any where todat?"
"Maybe decorate the den" He got up, shook himself, grabbed the flower and put it next to Poker

Her large ears flatten "Another nightmare that's all..." she stood up and stretched then yawned deeply and sat down. "I think I'm gonna just take a walk around the territory for now" she barked walking outside. She trotted to the lake, her large paws sat into the water as she laid down looking in the crisp water. She rested her head on her robotic front leg and yawned flicking her tail.

He looked up at his mate ''Alone..'' he said after she had left. He got up, grunted and stalked Poker silently as he was trying to figure out what he was going to say to her the next time they had a chance to talk. When he approached her he cleared his throat ''About yesterday'' he looked embarrassed ''Did you make up your mind?'' he didnt give her a chance to think about it before he said ''Do you still want to be my mate? Or..'' he stopped himself before he would get emotional.

Her ears flattened “I just need some alone time” she cried covering her face with her paws. “After I can calm down about this nightmare *sniffle* we can talk” she whimpered curling into a ball
