Rose looked up at Tom gratefully. She leaned her body against his, feeling instantly warmer. The Fae nodded to Tom. "Alright." She said before looking at Ulver. "It's not your fault your leg is injured. Do not apologize for it" she commented before padding slowly beside Tom towards their makeshift den.

As soon as the two canids made it into the makeshift den, Tom helped Rose to a mossy area. "You need anything else while I'm out?" Tom questioned as he just shifted the moss just slightly so Rose could lay down.

Rose laid down and felt comfortable, as comfortable as she could, in the mossy bed. She gazed up at him and shook her head. "No I think a rabbit will suffice. Maybe some water?" She questioned not even sure where or how theyd get the water to her.

Ulver nods "Water would be a must. It could be had via soaking it up in moss and squeezing it in your mouth. It'll take a few trips for it to be enough to sate your thirst but I'm sure I can find some near by. Should you wish for me to go search. Frankly the concept of leaving you alone right now bothers me deeply."

Tom nodded, "I can get water and food. Don't worry." The male flicked his tail and moved back to the entrance of the den. "Just keep an eye on her, will ya?" And with that Thomas bounded off to go find rabbits and water.

Ulver nods and yells after him "Be safe!!!" before laying down near Rose, trying to block the wind from reaching her

Rose smiled a bit even through the slight pain she still felt. Glancing over at Ulver, "when do you think I'll be back to being as good as new?" She chuckled half-heartedly. She definitely didn't expect to get hurt. She looked at the entrance, eyes waiting for Tom to return. She was hoping he'd be safe and that he wouldn't end up hurt because of her, yet again. The thought made her ears flatten slightly.

Ulver says softly "I'd say after today we can make a slow walk back to the dens. I wouldn't run for a week. And don't worry about Tom, he's tough and cautious and knows not to leave ear shot."

Rose nodded. "I think I'll take a nap while he's gone. Please wake me if anything happens." She gazed at Ulver with a look that she was serious about him waking her up. She then lifted her tail and placed it over her nose and closed her eyes. She let out a shaky sigh before drifting off. Her flank moving up and down rhythmically, indicating she had fallen asleep.

Tom returned to the den about an hour or so later. He was confused on why he couldn't find many rabbits but he had managed to catch four. He shrugged off his thoughts and slipped quietly into the secluded makeshift den clearing, a large ball of water-soaked moss held carefully between his jaws.
The male had quickly noticed that Rose was asleep so he slipped into the shade of the den silently and set down his catch of rabbits. Thomas glanced up, his pale yellow eyes flicking to Ulver now to who he nodded to. The canid lowered his head carefully and set down the moss ball on a few clean pine needles on the ground. "I'm sorry for taking so long," the male whispered and lowered his ears slightly.

Ulver chuckles and sighs "No need to apologize. Especially since you managed to do what no one else could. So chin up, you're doing a fine job helping to care for your pack. You've certainly earned my respect. On a different note, I think we shall be leaving in the morning, a slow trek back to the dens. How does this sound to you?"
