Droplet threw his head up and let out a deep howl to convene his Beta's, Lambda's, and Kappa's, especially StarStrike in Particular. His ears twitched eager to get the test started. A pang of uneasiness went through his body, someone could get hurt if they weren't careful. ''What should I do?'' Ulver hears Droplet and heeds the call.... He approaches Droplet, scanning the area, just in case. Everything seems fine but Droplet seems nervous. "What's up Droplet? Everything alright?"

Vixen heard Droplet's howl and looked at her pups they were asleep. She nudged Lucy and Blade. They woke up and looked at her. "What is it, mom?" Lucy asked sleepily. "I'm going out for a bit so behave, OK?" Vixen said smiling at her pups. "Ok" they replied and went back to sleep. Vixen smiled at her pups and got up and left the den. She headed towards Droplet and saw Ulver with Droplet. "Everything ok, droplet?" Vixen asked sitting down as she joined them.

He smiled trying to lighten the mood, but a pinch of anxiousness flow in him. ''White River is lacking Kappa's. The Lambdas need leaders, we already have one'' he looked around to see if anyone else had arrived but continued ''The only available and capable person to lead up is StarStrike, but shes blind'' Pausing after a while, to rethink some of his thoughts ''I want to test her to see if she has the smarts, capability and effectiveness to be a Kappa. Do you have any ideas?

"HHmm... It really depends. Maybe first we need to talk about what it is exactly we want from our Kappa's.... Though, if she is very smart and can fulfill a more.... Tactical or support role if you will, it may suit her just fine. In short. Can she strategize well? If not... I honestly can't see her as a Kappa, with as heavily handicapped as she is. She will forever and always need some one to follow in order for her to hunt safely in our pack. That doesn't normally sound like a leader to me. Hence my suggestion."

Vixen sat there and closed her eyes thinking. she opened her eyes and looked at Droplet. "I agree with Ulver. Each wolf as their own way of helping the pack so we need to see how will Starstrike help the pack by being a Kappa." Vixen said.

Droplet nodded ''Ive never really seen her hunt, though she does suggest and follow orders pretty well'' He looked at the ground silently for a moment ''We can test out her skillfulness, intelligence and tactics'' Looking at Ulver hopeful he continued trying to back her up ''Im sure she has many tactics up her paws, shes blind for christ sake. How long has she been without a pack without dying?''

"I haven't seen her hunt alone but when she was hunting with me and poker. She know her surrounding pretty well and when I stop walking or when I was running even when I didn't make a sound." Vixen said to Droplet.(back at the role-play moose hunting)

Starstrike lifted her head at the sound of Droplet's howl. Standing up from where she had been laying, she made her way over to where Droplet was. Judging from the voices and scents coming from up ahead, Starstrike could tell that Vixen and Ulver were with Droplet and that they were having a conversation. Having heard some of what they were talking about, Starstrike wasn't sure what to think. Shaking her her head she barked a greeting. "Hello Droplet, Ulver, and Vixen." Trying her best to act like she didn't hear any of their conversation, Starstrike asked, "What can I do for you?"

Starstrike smiled at the prospect at some tests, inwardly she was thinking 'What could th y possibly want me to do?'. Tilting her head slightly to the side, Starstrike said "Sounds like fun, what kind of tests? Also congratulations on the promotion Vixen!"

"I was thinking, for the first test, since Kappa's are relied on by Lambdas to lead them, you are to direct us, to hunt a Cow Elk, without you actually touching it" He smirked "And because it is Summer, Elk tend to be in higher elevations, like mountains. So not only are you commanding us to attack, you must also be skillful in navigation and surroundings" .. "Are you up for that?" Droplet tilted his head, but he added "I will tell you the next test when you complete the first one. Anyone is free to add suggestions"

Starstrike sat down and thought about Droplet's words. 'If we head into the mountains it would be more dangerous for me, but that's never stopped me before!' Raising her head, so that she was looking in towards Droplet, Starstrike smiled. "Sounds challenging, but I'm willing to give it all I've got." She said slowly. "When do we start?" She asked.

Vixen got to the den and she sighed as she saw they were still sleeping. She smiled and then ran back to where the others were. "Sorry Droplet, I wanted to check if my pups were following us but they are asleep so we can leave now before they wake up." Vixen said as she sat down waiting on the others.

Nodding her head towards Droplet when he said they would leave now or as soon as as Vixen gets back, Starstrike sat down to wait for her friend. When Vixen got back, Starstrike stood up and sniffed the air. "I've never been towards the mountains, so give me a moment to get my bearings." She barked softly. Padding around the area they were in, Starstrike sniffed the air for scents of elk and tried to determine where the coldest winds were coming from. Finding the direction she believed the mountains to be in, Starstrike pointed towards the distant mountains and asked "Am I facing the right direction? Or can you not answer that?"
