Poker spotted Vixens pups inside the den and sat down at the entrance watching them while her tail lashed around

Lucy woke up and saw lade still sleeping so she came out of the den and smiled when she saw poker. "Poker, you're here, why?" Lucy asked poker confused.

Poker lifted her head from her paws as Lucy came out. “Your mother is out doing something so I’m watching you 2 till she’s back” she said looking to the pup

Starstrike tilted her snout towards the mountains in the distance, "I take it that you need me to lead the way up there, so let's get going!" She said with a lopsided grin. "As for where we are going, I'll let you know that as soon as I catch the scent of any elk!" Starstrike said as she continued on towards the Snow Mountains.

Starstrike flicked an ear at Vixen's comment about being as blind as well herself, knowing that Vixen didn't mean anything bad by it, Starstrike shrugged it off. "I've never been to the mountains so I don't know what kind of prey or predators live up there, but I will do my very best to lead you both on a safe path towards an elk herd!" Starstrike told Vixen and Droplet.

"That would be much appreciated, thank you Droplet." Starstrike answered him. "Though if we still have a few hours, then we should be able to close the distance with the mountains by a decent amount."

(Sorry for not posting)
Starstrike continued forward and stopped when she caught the slightest scent of elk. "One or more elk definitely came by here, but the scent if faint so I'd say we're behind them by a couple of days." She said softly before picking her pace back up.
