Beech whirled around to face the cougar. She heard Droplet's voice, but she barely spared a thought for it, instead preparing for the pounce she knew was coming.

Vixen couldn't see because of the fog but she followed the cougars scent and she caught Beech's scent in the mix and she ran towards Beech.

The cougar pounced just as Vixen arrived, hissing in fury

Beech managed to catch sight of the cougar just in time to try and leap out of the way. The cougar's claws managed to catch her hip, and she stumbled as she landed, nearly landing on Vixen. She only spared a moment to nod to the other wolf before facing the cougar, her injured leg held about an inch above the ground.

Beech nodded and shifted her position, still keeping her weight off of her injured leg. She hunched down and faced the cougar, ready for his next move.

Droplet broke into a run, violently smelling the air. He skidded to a hault when he saw a bloody wolf, Beech! ''Beech'' Droplet said worried ''Are you alright?''. His attention turned to the cougar, growling as loud as he can, ruffling up his fur to make himself appear bigger.
COUGAR POV"
the cougar saw the two other wolves arrive, one to may to fight off. ''I have to flee'' thought the cougar before padding off into the bushes

Vixen raced through the forest following the scent. when the scent got stronger she knew the cougar was near so she slow down just in case

The cougr, tired of fleeing, eventually slowed down then finally coming to a stop; unknowingly that a wolf was right on its tail

Vixen saw the cougar as she was still in the bushes. Vixen stayed low and silent as she was getting ready to jump.

The cougar looked back, still unaware thinking it was completely safe. After regaining its energy the male continued walking

Vixen followed silently then she jumped pinning it but then she was pushed off. She stood there growling ad snapping at it.

Beech sat down heavily and twisted around to look at the wound. She touched her nose to it and winced. If she could talk, she clearly would have given a yelp of pain. She wrote a symbol on the ground, then sighed and erased it.

Beech limped over to the nearest tree, hoping it was the one Droplet meant. She sighed and lay down, her head angled so that she could see the edge of her wound. She gave it a small lick despite Droplet's warning, then shifted to keep an eye on the surrounding landscape.

the cougar hissed back and they begin to fight. a few minutes later, Vixen had scratches and bite wounds all over but the cougar had a fatal would on it's side and scratches here and there. the cougar hissed and took off,Vixen wanted to go after it but she had to go back to the others. Vixen made her way back through the bushes.
