Moon padded into the treeline with vixen behind her. Moon watched as a crow landed on a branch and cawed down to the wolves. Crows were such an amazing bird, along with Ravens they both were very trusting birds. Moon took her mind off of birds and onto the wonderful scenery of the forest.

Vixen was behind moon, looking around and some memories popped into her head. She shook them off and continued following moon.

Moon glanced behind her to make sure vixen was still there and smiled. "I haven't been here in so long." Moon barked.

Vixen heard moon which snapped her into reality. Vixen looked at moon and then she smiled "I haven't walked here ever since I had my pup's."

"Hmm, I've been here before..a while back." Moon happily barked the first part then drifted off into the second half of her reply.
She then zoned back in and smiled. To her surprise there was a rabbit ahead. "Wanna go hunting?" Moon barked grimly.
She stopped walking to gaze at the beautiful white rabbit. If they cought it then they could try to use its pelt for bedding or something.

The sound of paw steps came to their ears as Beech ran up behind them, then she pelted after the rabbit as it bounded away from the sound of the approaching wolf.

Moon jumped when beech appeared behind them. As the rabbit started to run Moon ran after it.
The creature dove into a hole and moon growled in frustration. She started digging at the hole feircly. The swift little rabbit had nowhere to hide once it was out of its hole. She flicked her tail and motioned for beech and Vixen to join her in digging.

Vixen smiled as beech chased the rabbit. Once moon chased it into it's hole, Vixen shook her head as Moon was digging at the hole. "There will be another one, moon." Vixen said as she looked at moon

Beech drew back and drew a rabbit with an arrow going into a circle. She added lines until it made a tunnel system with three exits. She put her paw in Moon's way, shaking her head, then tilted her head to indicate the drawing.

Moon looked at the drawing and sighed. "I've done this before..but with more wolves." Moon barked, remembering when she was a kappa and her hunting team would dig up rabbits a lot. She sighed again and sat down.

"It can also be a waste of time as well, moon" Vixen said as she looked at moon and then beech. She sat down after stretching.

Moon sighed. "Very well.." Moon walked over to vixen and beech and nodded. "Let's continue our walk, we might even find more food on the way." Moon smiled. She shook out her fur, stretched and continued walking

Vixen trotted after her and kept an eye out for prey as she trotted next to moon.

Beech got up and began to walk a few paces to the side and slightly in front of Moon. She seemed to be focusing deeply on her surroundings.

Moon looked around and put her nose to the ground. She captured scents of the wolves in the pack, rabbits, mice, voles, elk, and more.
she raised her head and continued looking around. "I'm thinking of going on patrol tonight." Moon barked. She knew omegas occasionally had to patrol the pack territory. Moon yearned for the entire pack to be in One place at the same time for bonding and a good ol' hunt once in a while.
those dream were sure to come true someday. But for now Moon had to stay in reality and work on proving herself worthy of being a lambda.
Hunger still gnawed at her stomach as she walked.
With a start she snapped back to reality and thought on keeping in tact.

Beech continued to walk, her pricked ears were the only sign she had heard Moon. She suddenly stopped and lifted her head, her nose pointing towards the scent of an elk herd.

Vixen heard Moon and looked at her then she saw beech pointing towards the direction the scent of elks were coming from. Vixen smiled. "Alrighty then lets hunt some elk." Vixen said as she stood next to beech.
