Moon carefully followed. Soon a heard of elk appeared from behind the trees. Moon made sure to stay downwind while she searched for a lone-elk.
'I haven't hunted an elk with other wolves for so long!' Moon thought happily.

"Alrighty moon and beech you guys will chase one elk towards me then I will slow it down for us to kill together" Vixen said as she looked at them and smiled at what moon said.

Beech quickly trotted to a position that would allow her to do what Vixen asked, crouching as she waited for Moon to get into her position.

Moon positioned herself into a crouch. "Which one?" She whispered quietly, making sure the elk didn't hear her.
Her tail wagged Impatiently behind her.
she kept her ears pricked for any sign of alarm from the elk. Elk we're noisy animals when they were panicking after all.

Vixen stood there observing the elks and she saw one of them wander not too far from the herd. "See the one that one over there." Vixen said as she faced in the direction of the elk.

"Yeah." Moon replied, muscles tensing. Her blood was racing with the thrill of a hunt.

Moon nodded and started walking past the grazing elk. They surprisingly didn't freak out and alarm the target.

Beech slunk to a new location, carefully positioning herself between the herd and the lone elk. The lone elk noticed Beech and started running, and Beech leapt after her.

Vixen headed to the edge of the forest not too far from the lone elk and she got ready to ambushed it.

Beech noticed the change of her position and herded it so that it ran right past Vixen.

Moon ran along with beech. Carefully planning each move in her head. Moon sped up, running slightly past beech and keeping the elk in tact.

Beech also sped up so that they were once again side by side as they chased the elk towards Vixen.

As the scent of elk and a few pack members washed over Poker she shifted her ears around also hearing hooves. She guessed a hunt was in process so she trotted out. Poker quickly spotted everyone and looked back to her auto mail. She went back through the forest and sat ahead of Vixen watching the 3 hunt

Moon glanced over to see poker and smiled. The female then shifted her gaze back to the tiring elk. She then nodded to beech and swerved, running close to the elks flank. The elk turned and began to head towards vixen as Moon and beech herded it.

Poker twitched her ears looking over the heard that was now trotting about in worry of the wolves near by. She eyed a few calves that were wondering back and forth around the ground as a coyote was running through startling them because of the wolves

Beech kept her focus on the elk, then made a series of signals and made a maneuver that none of the wolves in the pack had seen before. She seemed confused, as she struggled to regain control of the elk.

Vixen waited for them as they drew closer she finally jumped biting down on the elk's neck as it templed down surprised.
