The sun was setting, Droplet’s golden orbs scanned the area and gave himself a low huff. “It’s about time” the brute said to himself. With that, he trotted to the biggest rock, in the center of the den site, and jumped on it. A few of his pack members were in the surrounding area, but this was something Droplet longed to do for quite a while, which had required a few more wolves than the ones that were already curiously looking around. Seconds had passed before his instincts had told him to curl his tail neatly over his paws. “Looks presentable.” he mumbled to himself before throwing his cranium back, letting a deep howl ripple through his throat. |

Tom's head lifted sleepily from his paws, his ears perking forward at the long howl. The male's eyes narrowed against the bright setting sun, which peeked halfway above the peaks in the distance. With a gentle huff, Tom shoved his body forward and stumbled onto his paws. Shaking his pelt briskly, Tom slid out from under the base of a tall pine tree. Tom then shifted his gaze towards Droplet, who sat atop the largest rock in camp. Tom knew what was happening, so, he crossed the clearing and sat down at the base of the rock his alpha was on. He kept his mouth shut and scanned the area behind him, watching the wolves of his pack gather near him. Several seemed confused on why Droplet had called them.

Beech perked her ears towards the sound of the alpha's howl. She was slightly annoyed at her nap being disrupted, but she quickly shook it off and trotted over to the source of the sound, curiosity filling her gaze.

Droplet scoured the area again looking to address those who had an utterly perplexed face “For those of you who are confused, this is something new i’ve decided to host.” .. ‘’This is going to be a monthly gathering shall you say. Here, is where you may share your concerns, questions and comments. Other than that, it’s also utilized for the Alpha(s) to give announcements such as promotions, and new members.” the brute flicked his audits a few times, searching for anything else needed to be said. “This can also be seen as an overview of the month.’’ |

Tom thumped his paw against the ground slightly. "Shall we start?" he called up to Droplet, giving a polite nod to the male.

Droplet nodded to Tom and twisted his nape to see Raiden Shiryo . “Let’s start with promotions” With a warm smile, the brute continued “Shiryo, i’ve taken into account all those endless hours you’ve spent training yourself. May it be via foe or pack mate. I am very proud to announce that I will be retracting your rank as Upsilon, and from now on, you will be an ETA” ‘’Alright, next up’’ the brute took a moment to catch his breath, turning to Tom with an amused expression. “Tom, hence this is considered a big promotion, why don’t you come sit besides me?’’ Droplet signaled his tassel. “As most of us know, we have lost a few members this past couple of months. That doesn’t mean we’ve lost all hope. If anything, we take this as a wake up call.” .. ‘’But, enough with that, most packs run with two Alpha’s and Beta’s. Sadly, it has just been an Alpha for the time being. Tonight, that changes. Tom.’’ the Alpha looks at the smaller male. “You’ve proven yourself loyal consistently, regardless if your job is to defend White River during hardships, you’ve taken it into your own paws to act as if you were the Alpha when I failed to. I appreciate that deeply.” .. “I revoke your rank as an ETA, and you will now be the second in command.” "Is there any questions, comments, or concerns before I continue?" |

Tom's ears flicked forward, nodding his head. With a small stretch, Tom got to his paws before launching himself up onto the rock. He took a seat beside Droplet and lifted his head. "I'm just honored to be a part of this pack... Even with all our hardships, I am glad to see we've got through it. I just genuinely want to take everyone," Tom turned to Droplet and softened his gaze, "For welcoming me into the pack all those months ago and allowing me to be a part of this wonderful pack." He finished, lowered his ears just slightly and warmly smiling at his packmates below.

Tom gave a small nod to Beech, his tail twitching against the rock. Turning to Drop, Tom flicked his audits, "We have one more rank to be given, yes?" He asked, shaking his pelt slightly.

Vixen heard Droplet announced the new ranks as she stepped out of the shadow near them. "Congrats to you, Tom and you too, Shiryo." Vixen said smiling as she joined them

Droplet nodded at Tom's words, looking at Vixen in particular for a quick second then back at the crowd “Last of all, I would like to give recognition to Beech. She had been here for a long, long time. She has seen most of the members come and go. Although, due to my failure to see things through, she will be reassigned to a different rank. A rank which suits her, as well as the pack better.” Droplet glanced at Beech before continuing “Considering the fact that she is completely mute, she lacks the qualities of a proficient Lambda. So, I will be resigning your role as a hunter, and making you a Nu.”
