Poker flattened her ears as she looked over a hill side into the valley while the sun rose. Her was fur blew about as he tail lashed from side to side as usual. It slowed down and finally her tail sat at her side. Her ears perked as she took a breath in closing her eyes.

Tom tread through the forest gently, his nose low to the ground as he followed Poker's scent. The male hadn't seen the female all day, so when he caught her scent he'd decided to follow. Eventually, he caught sight of her, perched atop a hill. "Poker?" He called gently, creeping up beside her carefully.

She looked to him flattening her ears then perked them as she looked back over the valley “Tom” she said softly. She breathed out roughly as she adjusted her paws.

Tom took a hesitant seat next to her, "What're you doing out here?" He asked gently, his gaze focusing in on the horizon. The wind would lap at his fur, brushing it to the side. The male would give her a sideways glance, a confused and concerned glint in his eyes.

“I’m just” the female paused looking to male and giving him a smile, a rare thing to accure from her. “I’m just thinking” her tail went to the other side as she lifted her head welcoming the soft breeze.

Tom looked back at the horizon, wrapping his tail around his side, "Is that it?" He asked quietly, his tone soft.

Poker nodded slightly as she leveled her head out and looked off into the distance. “Do you miss anyone?” She asked with the subtle tilt of her head

The male's eyes dropped, his ears twitching slightly at the question. "A few..." He mumbled a reply hesitantly, his eyes closing briefly. "Why do you ask?"

“Because I do...all the time” Pokers voice was low as she just looked off with an empty look. A smile tugged at her jaws though

Tom felt a frown cross his maw, his ears lowering. He gave a small whine and offered a small, sympathetic smile. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked softly.

Tom dropped the smile and looked back towards the horizon and locked his gaze. He'd sit silently for a moment, analyzing his words until finally, he spoke, "They?"

The brute was sun bathing when the wind blew the slightest hint of Tom and Poker. Pushing to his paws, Droplet trotted to them, slowly. "Am I- Interrupting?" His ears were flat, head down a bit, trying not to sound arrogant or anything along those lines.

Tom stayed silent, analyzing what Poker was saying, "Oh..." That was all he could get out until Droplet appeared behind the two. "No, Droplet, we're just talking..." Tom sighed gently, looking back over his shoulder for a moment to give the alpha a nod before turning back to Poker and then the horizon.

The brute nodded before settling down, his tail wrapped neatly over his paws. "I can leave, if-'' he stopped himself. Looking at the ground, as if Droplet was lost in his own thoughts. "Are you okay?" the male continued, his voice was hushed, towards Poker
