Tom gulped slightly, thinking for a moment before speaking, "I didn't know you had pups... Where are they now? You spoke as if they were in a different pack?"

“Well yes I have 2 litters. My first with my Mate” Poker paused looking to the ground whispering his name “Kai...” she was quiet for a moment yet she then cleared her throat. “There’s were 4. Draco, Floyd, Piper and Wynter. The first few months Floyd and Piper wandered off...Draco and Wynter I had to leave with the humans after their father was killed. They have never really been happy about tha at least Draco hasn’t. Then with Droplet” she glanced to him for a moment. “Ash, Luvy and Storm. They are all with Draco and Wynter” Poker gave a chuckle “they always want me to come and visit and they r growing so fast. Draco thinks it’s best if I don’t though...I bet his mate and him are doing a fine job plus Wynter is there” she stopped and looked down. “They live with dogs in a small human town. Any day they could be killed or put somewhere or taken and I would have no idea till it’s to late....”

Tom frowned, hearing this, "I'm really sorry... I'm sure that's tough." He nodded gently, his tone soft and sympathetic.

Tom gave her a sideways glance, his eyes mellow and soft, "I'm not sure I agree, Poker... I mean, you are their mother... Why would it be worse if you wet to see them?" He asked carefully, his words slow as to not say the wrong thing.

“Well the younger pups know I left Draco and Wynter there. I can’t leave often enough to see them and the more they see me the worse it will be on them. Last time I was there they were questioning me about the rest of the family”

Tom let out a small whine, "oh... I see..." He trailed off, not really knowing what else to say.

Droplet flinched at the mention of his pups. Though, it was obviously hurting him had he never been there for them, he stayed quiet, occasionally nodding. "I wouldn't mind seeing them again" the brute said, almost frowning. Flashbacks filled his mind. "Are they.. alright?" Droplets head raised a little bit, a little bit more confident, making eye contact with Poker for a few seconds.

Droplet chuckled, he had missed Ash. He couldn't help but favor the little pup. "He's so sweet" the male said, smiling at all the memories they had created in the little time they were given. "I wish I could've seen him grow up. I think he'll turn out to be a fine young male."

"I know, I meant-- I wasn't there for most of his pup hood, you know?'' Droplet said, quietly, looking at Tom who was moving away. "It's fine, Tom. If I didn't want you to hear, I wouldve asked Poker to speak in private."

Droplet snorted and scratched his back pillar against the nearest rock, taking off all the critters that crawled on him while he was idle talking to his pack mates. Hearing Poker's comment, the male snorted in a quite arrogant way. "Dogs? Thats all? Thats nothing"
