Tom was sat in the shade of a pine tree, his head high and eyes closed as he enjoyed the small warmth he could get in the autumn months. The sun was rising in the sky, and the light filtered lazily through the forest canopy.

The golden dame inhaled deeply, the scent of crisp air had always been something Umi enjoyed with the changing of seasons. Sitting on her favorite perch under a birch tree the ice blue eyed dame pondered about the distant horizon and the wonders beyond it. Umi shook her head, she loved where she was at and couldn’t have asked for a better home. Her thoughts trailed off as Umi continued to sit up against her birch, thick tassel swaying.

Eventually, Tom let his eyes drift open, narrowing them against the light for a moment as his unadjusted eyes comforted to the sun's rays. Soon, he pushed forward onto his paws and began to loop the camp slowly but surely, keeping an eye on his packmates as they began to emerge from their dens or lounge lazily around.

Droplet was about to drift off into a slumber when something had awoken him. He yawned quietly, his golden optics scanned the area. Pushing to his paws, the brute walked out of his den, shaking off all the dirt and build up that clung to his pelt. "Hello there, Umi" Drop said flashing a smile to the dame

The golden dame glanced over her shoulder then fully turned her attention to the speaking brute “Why hello Droplet.” Umi returned the smile just as eager. She then glanced at her over view still speaking to the alpha “Quiet a sight isn’t it?” Umi then looked back to Droplet.

Tom continued to loop the area until he saw Droplet emerge from the alpha den. He gave a small nod to the male and allowed himself to take a small break and take a sit in the sun.

Droplet, again shook his pelt. "Indeed'' he smiled, looking at the view in awe. "Haven't had the chance to rest, and enjoy the view for a while, actually.'' the brute shrugged, telling his truth. He turned his head to see Tom Droplet nodded his head back in acknowledgement. "Hows our beta?"

Tom offered a warm smile, "I'm good. How is our alpha?" He asked Droplet, shifting onto his paws and approaching his alpha.

Umi gave a slight curve on her lips, satisfyed with Droplet’s response, it was important to her to take time to observe the surroundings in awe from time to time. “Tsk. Such a shame.” Umi replied. The dame’s audits perked hearing Tom approach them, Umi gave a polite nod to the brute.

Droplet couldn't help but give a small chuckle to the new beta. "I'm hanging in there."
The brute gave his maw a quick lick before settling down in a nice patch of grass. "Umi" he started, not waiting for a response. "You have nice-'' .. "eyes" Droplet said in seemingly joking manner. A quick second had passed and the male looked up to the dame, smiling a bit. "Just saying. Don't take that personal...?"
He stopped himself. twisting his cranium away from the female,

Umi paused listening to the alpha’s comment, then smiled at Droplet before giving a burst of laughter and replied “Why thank you.” The golden dame relaxed her haunches sitting once again before continuing with a chuckle and gleam in her ice blue optics “I know they may seem strange in color, but I couldn’t be more grateful.” Umi’s tassel swayed and another chuckle emitted from her maw as she saw Droplet had turned away.

Droplet yawned to cover up any signs of laughter. Instead, he rolled his eyes in a playful manner and replied "yeah yeah, laugh it off, whatever'' .. "I am serious though, unique. Not that i'm flirting or anything" the brute shrugged to himself.
The male noticed the conversation had headed south quickly. So, instead of staying quiet, Droplet got up and poked Umi with his paw quickly, giving her a quick sideways glance. "Toooom" he had said quite playfully, settling down once again to scratch a patch spot on his nape. "Its amazing to feel no need to rush. A day to relax''

Calming her laughter Umi smiled sweetly “Alright alright, seriously thank you Droplet, it’s nice to know someone appreciates my differences.” The golden dame yipped at the sudden poke only to soon after return the action with own paw, a curve on her lips. Umi responded to Droplet’s other statement humming “Mm, yes indeed, relaxation with a view” Umi stretched out her limbs a content smile on her maw and a sway of her tassel. She soon settled back into her spot.

Droplet shook his cranium with a slight smirk. He then pushed himself to his paws. "I'm going to get a quick drink" the brute said simply before making his way down to the nearest stream. Looking around to see if anyone was near, the male stuck his paws in and soon his whole body followed. "ahhh'' Droplet said, feeling his muscles being relieved a bit.

Umi sighed as she watched the alpha trot off. The golden dame remained in her spot, soft moss under her paws Umi began to claw at it as the texture felt satisfying.

Reika shifted a paw through the herbs or remedies as she began to sort them, barely looking up as Droplet walked off. She had work to do; wolves these days don't know how to stay out of trouble. With a small shake of her furry head, she put the cobwebs off to one side.

Droplet's audits twitched a bit. Again, his muscles tensed which made him uncomfortable. He headed out of the small stream, and shook his fluffy pelt that was drenched in water. After the fact, the brute trotted back, his tassel lashing a bit. Camp was closing in, Droplet could tell. Familiar scents filled the air, especially an unfamiliar one. "He.., Reika, Right?" he said simply, closing in on the new female scanning her briefly. 'I am Droplet, Alpha of this White River. Welcome to the pack, I hope you feel yourself at home."
He gave a small curt nod before turning off, trotting next to Umi, Reika was still in earshot, so if she decided to say something the male wouldve been able to catch it. Quickly, Droplet smacked the dame in the face with his tail. (lightly) "oops-''

Reika dipped her head in acceptance of Droplet's words, somewhat at a loss for words but didn't say anything. She could get used to living in the White River pack just as long as she is treated like any member. Hopefully, she could forget her life back with the humans and start a new one.
