Yakone looks sympathetic, rolling back over and standing. He pads closer, before lying down again by the other’s side. Acting purely on his paternal instincts, he starts to groom the younger’s pelt in an attempt to soothe him. “I know what it’s like to lose a mate, Alpha. But to have to see her frequently? I can’t imagine that being easy for you.” Droplet flinched at the feeling of a papillae running through his coat. He was a bit at ease by it, after a few short seconds."Not to long ago, actually. It never feels like its a full on conversation. Just a head clash." Sadness danced around his eyes, but he shook it away. "She had my pups." his head lay low while speaking, almost like a whisper. |

He lets out an almost inaudible whine at the other lupine’s words, pausing his ministrations long enough to speak. “I’m sorry you’ve had to go through this, pup. It simply means she wasn’t the one for you. You’ll find her one day, I promise you. I can’t promise it won’t end in a heartbreak, because life isn’t an elder’s story. But I can promise you, you will be happy.”

"I hope" he chuckled, holding back words that really wanted to express his feelings. "This was months ago. I shouldnt dwell on the past." Droplet smiled half heartedly. "I've believed to have found someone who makes me smile everytime I see her. She - is so joyful. I can't even explain how amazing she is, honestly. I want to get to know she better though."

He nods in acknowledgment, resting his head lazily between the Alpha’s shoulders. He doesn’t seem to think about the action before moving, his jaws parted in a yawn. “I’m proud of you for finding someone that keeps you happy, but remember that there’s more to look for than that. Find someone you can picture a real future with.”

Droplet opened his maw for a second, then closed his eyes for a second. "I hope to see her in my future." the Canis Lupus's eyes opened again, scanning for Umi. He let out a breath of relief to find out she wasn't. "Not ready to be rejected again" Droplet shrugged gently.

He makes a noise of what seems to be approval, though it’s more tired than anything. The Iberian sire’s eyes drift closed slowly, his posture shifting slightly to find a more comfortable position. He was preparing to take a nap before the Alpha had approached, and it was becoming clear very quickly that missing that ‘nap time’ for probably only five minutes was just making him sleepy.

Vixen had caught a rabbit and a bird so she was heading back to her pups. She entered the densite and saw her pups sleeping. She smiled at them and placed the rabbit inside the den along side them so they could eat it once they wake up. She laid not too fair from the den and started to eat her kill.

Droplet nudged the elder, giving him a sympathetic look. "Come on, lets go. You need some sleep." he pushed to his paws, before stretching. "Do you need anything from Reika? I could help you over to the den. It has some fresh moss. Then I could ask Reika for any herbs if youd like."

He yawns, pushing himself to his paws slowly. “I’m fine without any herbs,” he murmurs, head shaking to wake himself more. “Just time for me to get some sleep, I’ll be out soon after I get comfortable. Help from your Iota isn’t necessary quite yet.” He takes a step toward the den to go lie down, pausing to make sure he doesn’t get dizzy. He’d started moving before he was ready, but adjusted quickly.

Droplet walked along side him, looking sideways to see if everything was alright. "Lean on me if you need to." The Alpha nodded sternly. "I wouldn't mind a nap of my own" he chuckled to himself, with a hint of truth to that statement.

He chuckles, nodding and continuing at a careful pace toward the den. “Well, I’m sure if things are calm for the time being you could take a well deserved rest.” His head drops down to shoulder level, his movements much lazier than the confidence he’d moved with earlier. “Even an Alpha can take breaks when he or she needs them.”

Umi shook her pelt as a shiver randomly went down her back, someone was talking about her, her superstitious thoughts moved to Droplet as she mentally smiled. Returning her attention to Keeva the golden dame gave a slight frown “I’m sorry you don’t really remember your past, but I hope you stay with us here. White River is a wonderful pack as far as I know.” Umi gave the Keeva a warm smile “You’ll make new memories here.”

"Right. But the moment you sleep, everything goes wrong" Droplet chuckled, heaving a small sigh at the truth in that. "Sleep well. If you need anything, I shouldn't be too far." The brute waiting until Yakone got into the den before dipping his head and cautiously stalking off.

He twitches an ear back toward his voice in acknowledgement, circling in a “nest” of moss momentarily before he lies down, limbs tucked under his frame. His head rests on the edge of the make-do bedding, eyes drifting closed as he finds himself dozing off almost instantly.

Im smaller than most of the others here, which means that I'm not very strong. Probably the only good thing that is useful is my speed." Keeping a straight face as her emerald optics looked dead ahead she then gave a tired sigh. "I'm sorry, I'm probably boring you with this and perhaps making things a bit awkward for you." Giving a slight glance from the corner of her eye towards the golden pelted dame for the moment. |

Droplet looked at Keeva, then peered at Umi. He had saw Keeva's maw moving, assuming they were talking. The brute yawned and trotted behind the dame. Waiting a few seconds, Droplet pinned Umi. "I am so sorry shes been causing you trouble, Keeva. This will not happen again" the male tried to say in a straight face, but couldnt help but smirk.

Umi shook her head “of course you’d be useful, being larger size isn’t everything, for one you’re definitely swifter and you’d never bore me it’s fi—“ The remainder of Umi’s statement was cut short with a yelp as Droplet surprised her. Ice blue optics wide blinking in shock she soon realized it was him as she took in the strong pine scent. Letting out a hearty laugh hearing the brute Umi played along “Oh forgive me your highness I didn’t mean to bother the lady.” The golden dame rolled her striking blue optics her laughter dying down to a chuckle.

Suddenly seeing the male show up and stopping the conversation they were having it was in instant reaction as her ears flattened out due to being a bit startled. Looking from the male to the female her head couldn't but to tilt for she was confused at what was going on. Bothering her? If anything Keeva would be the one doing that but at this moment she was quite lost. "I'm sorry..?" She spoke keeping her head tilted as she looked them both over.

Droplet got off of Umi, and shook his coat free of any dust. "No no, it was a joke" The brute said, a bit half-heartedly. "Are you okay?" the male asked, tilting his cranium to one side, noticing the dames foul reaction. "I didn't mean to set off any-" Droplet heaved a small sigh, before clearing his throat. "I'm sorry."

Umi shook her pelt as she also wanted to console Keeva “We’re both sorry you had to see that. Just play was all.” She half chuckled but didn’t want the emerald eyed dame to be confused. “Like I was saying, you’re not useless nor are you too small for anything. You’ll find what you’re best at and it will help other as well as yourself in the long run.” Umi breathed out since she didn’t pause “And I’m never bored Keeva.” She paused to look at Drop with a sly smirk then back to Keeva “Nothing is ever boring here.”
