Umi also held down the deer giving one final deep bite to its windpipe stilling the doe. “Well that’s finally done.” She said to no one in particular. The golden dame eyed her rear looking over her shoulder with narrowed optics, damn thing got her good, but hopefully it was just bruising.

Reika let got of the carcass and looked at Umi concerned. "You alright?" She questioned, briefly licking the blood off her muzzle. "Are you hurt?"

Umi nodded “I should be, the deer just kicked me in the rear is all. Probably just some bruising.” Umi tested her back legs stretching them out only feeling some soreness, but not enough to cause her to make a face in pain.

Umi smiled happily “Thank you. You two weren’t so bad yourselves either.” Her tassel swayed as Umi contemplated whether they should bring the deer carcass back or not.

Reika smiled, panting slightly. "Thanks and I didn't loose a whole lot of energy while doing so." She said and sat down.

Poker jumped up trying to reach the butterfly. As she landed her paws slipped landing her on her back. She quickly got up chasing the insect once again. As a leaf blew by she was distracted quickly. She leapt up snatching the leaf. She landed perfectly and shook the leaf to pieces. Once she dropped it she looked around for the butterfly. Pokers tail caught her attention first. She spun in circles desperately trying to grab it. Finally she got it in her jaws. Yet biting down to hard earned a yelp. She almost instantly forgot about it as the butterfly once again went by. She followed it further into the field. As she saw it land onto a flower she crouched down. Pokers tail wagged about as she bounced. Upon landing in the group of flowers tons of butterflies came up around her. Poker fell back on her back rolling around. She paused to watch them all group around. She let a howl spread into the air around the butterflies.

Vixen howled for the rest of the pack that they have food. “I’m sure they are hungry as well.” Vixen said as laid down to wait for the rest of the pack.

Umi nodded in agreement as she too sat down after Vixen ‘s howl awaiting the rest of the pack to flood onto the grounds.

At the sound of the howl, Anik sighs and nudges Yakone away from him. He pushes at the male’s haunches, nudging him toward the source and trailing behind him when the older finally heads that way.

Seth heard the howl his head shot up his ears perked. he then looked to droplet not waiting for a reply to his previous comment. 'should we go?' he asked the alpha.

Poker pranced around grabbing flowers and vines. She made herself a flower crown before continuing to play about the butterflies. Hearing a howl for food she was interested. Yet not thinking quite yet. Poker started that way prancing and bouncing around. Flower crown and all. She would trip often and get distracted yet kept going. As a huge puppy she definitely didn’t seem as scary.

Droplet chuckled. "She takes time. I would know. Although," he stopped, looking at Seth in an amused way ".. Although it takes a while to get on her good side, she really isn't that bad." Droplet winced, but winked smoothly, obviously never expecting to talk about such a subject "If you realllyyy want her, convince her to go on a hunt. She loves killin' shit."

Reika laid down and eyed the carcass longingly. Her stomach growled just looking at it and she licked the access blood on her muzzle. "When is everyone getting here? I'm starving?" She whined, ears pinned then looking at Umi and Vixen.

Yakone ambles over, moving cautiously to avoid tripping over his own paws and stopping once the younger lupines and their kill is in view. Anik follows, moving around Yakone and moving closer before sitting. “I see the hunt went well,” the old-timer notes, gaze flickering down to the carcass to show what he was referring to.

Umi chuckled “All of us did well.” She spoke up hearing Vixen’s praise and felt accomplished. The golden dame whispers to Reika “Soon I hope.” Regarding the dame’s hunger, Umi was feeling it too.

Poker WAS headed to the kill. A small bird flew by getting her way off corse and headed towards the dens. She chased it mindlessly not really caring bout anything. Yes she was acting like a puppy, yes she looked happy, and yes she had her flower crown. Very scary beast as per usual.
