Tearing her jaws from the moose’s leg the dame leaned back and launched herself onto the bulls back. Her large paws scratched around at the bulls body trying to pull herself up. As she almost fell back Poker snapped her head to the side barely catching the moose’s back. Her teeth slipped down into its flesh lowly holding her barely off the ground. Her hind legs claws scratching the ground as she snarled jerking her head back.

Moose POV: The moose kicked at the wolves in desperate attempt to lose them. The bull turned his head, looking at a nearby lake. Bingo! He quickly changed his direction, making a sharp right turn. Right into the water. The bull's demeanour changed to a serious look as he narrowed his eyes at the canines. Stopping it's hooves aggressively against the shallow waters.
(Generally, wolves don't go in the water to attack, the Moose has an advantage)

Anik had run after the moose when it escaped, though quickly stopped at the water’s edge. With an impatient exhale, he paces along the shore slowly, his head dropped and tail lashing.

Vix stopped at the water. She looked around then waited for Droplet's order. She kept an eye on the moose as she growled lowly with her tail lashing but her body tensed ready for anything.

Umi had made chase as well stopping abruptly at the bank of the lake, she gave a sigh of frustration. “Well it’s wounded some right? Plus he can’t stay in the water forever..” Umi huffed trying to be optimistic, it was a pain sometimes.

Anik’s response to the optimism is a low growl, his lips peeled back and heterochromic gaze trained on the larger mammal. He continues his predatory pacing, his ears shoved forward and muscles tense. He was itching for a meal, or at least a chase, and was rather annoyed that their potential kill had made a run for the water.

Poker snarled as she fell into the water. She scrambled to her paws rushing to not get kicked by the moose. The large dame hurried to her paws and tried to run towards the shore. A hoof caught her hip letting a yelp jolt her from jaws. I

Droplet quickly changed his gaze to Poker."Are you alright?" The brute mused, his demeanour looking worried, but serious. His tassel flicked agitated at the Bull. "Smart, but not smart enough." Droplet said, letting out a toothy grin, examining the animal. "Deep gashes, blood oozing from it's side.." the male muttered. "If it doesn't move soon, he'll get stiff."

Umi gave a smirk she knew she had a positive feeling this hunt wasn’t a total disaster. “So now it’s a waiting game..” she commented. Her voice a little eager as Umi wanted to bring this moose down already.

Poker sat down growling “I’m fine...” she mumbled insults to the moose as it watched them.

Droplet nodded "Indeed." he yawned, settling down on the river bank. His tassel lashed gently, while his legs were ready to pounce at any second. "Watch for the hooves" the male warned, peering at the submerged hooves.

Anik huffs, padding closer and standing ankle deep in the water. His gaze is trained on the moose, lip curled and canines baring. He goes to take a step forward, only to scramble back to the dirt when the moose turns its focus to him.

Pokers ears flattened as she rolled onto her back. Getting Back onto her paws the female stretched back and yawned. Sitting up right she settled her head between her shoulders eyeing the moose.

Myla yawns, stretching her paws and back. She looks around to find the place barren. She tilts her head, wondering how long she slept for.

Reika heard the sound of someone waking up and turned to see Myla. Standing up, the silvery-white lota made her way over to her current patient. "Hey there. Did you sleep well?" She asked.

The brute wasn't sure when he had fallen asleep or how long it had been. He woke with bleary eyes and fazed eyesight. He looked around unable to see much and not remembering he was at the den. He stretched as he tried to dim a headache that was making itself known with the pounding sensation that was resonating through his head and skull. Deciding to stay laying down the male thought was the best course of action and rested his head upon the dirt ground between his big fluffed paws. Seth closed his eyes shielding himself from the invading sunlight that was unwelcome.

(Vixen we are literally on a hunt and you teleported back to your den??)
The moose stomped his foot into the river bank, splashing the nearest wolf. Hours had passed, and the moose took off running, fleeing for his life.

(My head isn’t working at all today so I had to reread what I wrote ) Vixen looked at the moose and growled. Vix started to run after it. Lucy and Blade were walking a safe distance away watching the pack hunt. They wanted to join in but they knew they wouldn’t be able to help at all yet.

Poker rotated her shoulders before laying down slowly. “I don’t like waiting” the dame growled softly.

Anik was quick to return to the water when the prey began to flee, cringing visibly as it soaks his thick pelt. A guttural snarl leaves the swain, tail flicking to and fro angrily and a glare locked on the moose. He pauses only ankle deep, clearly uncomfortable in the water.
