Vix saw Umi beside Seth at the moose's throat. Vix grabbed on tighter to it's leg and pulled. The moose struggling was making it hard for her to bite deeper into it's leg. Vix just kept pulling and shaking it's leg.

Eventually, after futile struggling, the moose began to slow its movements which Seth was thankful for. He wasn't sure how much longer he could grip onto the moose. As the moose slowed Seth took the chance to reposition his paws without letting go so he stood firm on the ground once more. He kept his grip just as firm. His muzzle becoming even more soaked in the crimson liquid.

With the moose giving up, Umi mentally sighed in relief. They had been at this long enough, and soon her pack would reap the benefits of such a large challenging kill. Her grip never faltering as the golden dame tossed her crania about to tear through the thick flesh of the moose’s neck, jowls throughly blooded.

Thomas took a step back, tail thrashing from left to right. His eyes narrowed in a calculated manner. Slowly, he barked at his packmates a short warning, watching the moose's legs buckle from underneath its body. Within a minute, the moose was dead, laying half out of the water on the bank, bleeding onto the ground a crimson liquid.
"Well done," Tom barked, sitting slowly to regain the breath he'd lost. "Rest first and then we'll drag it into the clearing and call for the others.

Vix let go and jumped back as the moose fell. Lucy and Blade came out from where they were watching and came over to Their mother. “We can go and tell the rest of the pack if you guys are too tired.” Blade and Lucy offered as they sat next to their mother. Vix looked at them then back to Tom and the others.

Poker lashed her tail as she rolled over in the tall grass. As she sat up she saw the wolves she had been watching had taken then moose down. She knew she hadn’t seen everyone yet but knew there’s wolves were from the pack. She could smell it. She sat upright as now her upper body was visible from afar while she sat at the tree line probably looking like a spy.

Out of the corner of his eyes, Tom caught Poker sitting there, He gave a brief nod to her before turning to Lucy and Blade. He stared for a moment before nodding slightly. "If you wish to, you may," He smiled, "Go tell the others that we have food," Tom mused warmly before standing up. With a small shake of his pelt, he trotted over to Poker with a small chime of greetings.
"Poker, since you're not doing anything right now, I need you to follow Lucy and Blade from a distance and make sure nothing happens to them. They're going to tell the others that we have food." The smaller beta lifted his head, offering a smile.

Poker stood as Tom came over. She turned her gaze to the pups in the distance and gave a gentle nod. “Hello to u too Tom” she teases gently before standing. She went into a trot towards the pups till she was a good distance away from them where they wouldn’t see her yet we could get to them if need be. She kept her body low trotting being them in a stalking like manner.

Umi sat back panting, glad the ordeal was over and able to catch her breath. Her audits twitched to the conversation held near her as the golden dame ran her icy gaze over the deceased moose. They would be full for a good minute by the looks of it. Umi felt proud of her packmates as a smile graced her features.

Thomas nodded to Poker before returning to his packmates, The small male took a seat by Umi, nodding to the alpha with a small smile. "Good hunt," he said simply, his breath finally returning to a normal, even pace. "The other pack members will be here shortly." He informed.

Vix smiled at her pups running towards the densite. She noticed Poker following them after talking to tom. Vix laid down nearby the prey so she could rest a bit.
Lucy and Blade ran off as soon as Tom said yes. "Race ya." Blade yelled and Lucy smiled as she ran after him. "I'm not gonna go easy on ya." Lucy replied as she ran next to Blade.

Tom watched the pups run off, chuckling slightly to himself. It was always good to have pups in the pack to lift everyone’s spirits. The smaller beta double checked that Poker was indeed following them, and once he’d caught sight of her the male turned back to Umi with a small nod.

The golden damsel had let her stamina recharge as Umi’s breathing returned to normal. “Good hunt indeed.” The alphess chuckled in reply to Tom’s statement. Umi’s ice blue optics eyed the fresh moose carcass as she patiently awaited the other to be brought over by Vixen’s pups. Sitting back on relaxed haunches she spoke again “Once the others arrive, you all may eat. No order required.” Umi smiled.

Shiryo glanced at the kill and pack members from the shadows. He observed the scene and pondered if he should join them or not, and of course being his currently antisocial self he slunk off between the trees on a steady trail that took him wherever. "Better not lead me to any danger, trail." he'd mutter to himself with a small chuckle once he was further away from the others.

Tom’s eyes flickered with recognition, “Shiryo..” He mumbled, the small Beta just catching the Eta slipped back between the trees and off into the shadowy underbrush. “As antisocial as ever,” the male sighed, before turning back to Umi with a small smile.

Lucy and Blade ran into the densite. "I win this round." Lucy announced. Blade grumbled then sighed. "Guys, come and eat." Blade yelled in the middle of the densite for every to hear while Lucy was catching her breathe.
Vix got up and stretched. She shook herself and went over to the river. She lowered her head and started drinking. Vix finished and walked over to the trees not too far from the others and laid down.

Umi offered a half smile back to the Beta. Catching him speak Shiryo’s name. “Maybe next time?” Her ice blue oculars squinted with her smile as her attempt to reassure. The golden damsel eyed the slow gather of the other packmates; briefly stretching her forelimbs forward.

The males black and blue pelt shimmered as he made his way along the path that would eventually lead to a pond that gave off peaceful vibes. His silver gaze landed on the corpse of a rabbit which was convenient since he had felt hunger grow before he arrived there, so naturally, he dug in. It was surprisingly fresh and so he concluded it may have just died of age or disease as its body was completely unmarked.

The large male wondered off, to find some water for a drink. Not having a drink for a while making even the easiest of jobs like walking hard.
