After hours had gone by Keeva had finally decided to return, though there was something different about her now. Keeping her head lowered as she silently walked over to a tree somewhat away from the others she held a half eaten hare carcass that she managed to dig up somewhere. Lowering her small frame down onto the ground with her back facing most of the wolves she began to lick the fairly cold meat, after all it was buried under snow and dirt and needed cleaning. Plucking off the remaining tuffs of fur from it as her ears would rotate repeatedly.

As Droplet finished his share of the chunk, he licked his chops clean of blood before twisting his cranium to face sleeping pup. Getting up slowly, the brute picking her up by the scruff, moving her closer to her mother and litter mates. "I'll be back." He said quite stern, with a hint of concern.
The Alpha male limped out of the den, in search for one of his packmates. "Keeva?"

Flicking her ears back at she heard her name she then pins them as the sudden smell of one of her packmates grew stronger, clearly getting closer to her. She suddenly stops what she's doing and slowly curls her lips to show her fangs. A muffled growl was then sounded, growing louder with each step he came closer, turning her head to glare at just who it was. There was something that wasn't right with her, showing aggression at an alpha was surely asking for trouble. Though Keeva didn't care, and she continued to do so. Her eyes wide and seeming a bit crazed as she licked her slightly bloody jaw.

Flicking an ear at the sound of growling, Reika stood, careful not let her pups fall or step on them and heads outside to see what was going on. Stepping outside, she sees Keeva who wasn't acting like herself and Droplet. "Keev, what's goin on?" She asked the smaller female, coming to stand by Droplet.

Now seeing yet another packmate approach she then began to pull herself up to a stand. Looking at both Droplet and Reika with her teeth still bared, and snapping her jaws as she barked. Saliva carefully dropping from her maw as she took on an aggressive stance over her food.
Perhaps while she was out she might have gotten worse in her condition, or maybe got into a little scuffle with some other predator. But who knows really. Her small frame standing in a ready position she wasn't going to hesitate on lashing out, even if they were her pack. At the moment she didn't see them as such, strangers mostly though she know who they were deep down. It was as if her whole system was just messed up, confusing those who were friends and enemies.

Reika stared at Keeva, her forest green eyes wide and her jaw hanging a little. What was wrong with Keeva? Did she not recognize her and Droplet? Reika lifted a paw as if to move forward but puts it back down and moves back a little all the while staying close to Droplet in case something happened. "Keev, come on it's us." She tried to say but in Keeva's state it may have went through deaf ears.

Calix trudged across a snow blanketed terrain, his snout angled downward and his optics narrowed in response to the mixture of snow and rain that swirled about. The large brute would stop on occasion to scan the area for shelter. He wasn’t exactly sure where he was headed, but he continued in his way nonetheless. Calix hoped to soon come across an elk or a hare, anything to satisfy his hunger. He scowled aloud, muttering a “hmph” in annoyance.

Her stance never seemed to relax, not one bit. Thought there was a small spark in her mind, looking at both of the wolves before her she soon turns around and picks up the half eaten hare. Given a faint snarl to them both as she casted a quick glare before walking off. Seemed as though she was going to wat in private. And as she grew further away her behavior began to slightly change once more, becoming relaxed slowly. She'll be back once she feels ready once more, perhaps sometime tonight.

Spying a wooded area some distance away, the lone masculine increased his pace, striding forward at a fair pace. Finding shelter in the trees, Calix halted momentarily. He began shaking his thick pelage, ridding himself of snow and ice. He lifted his narrow snout, catching the faintest scent of canines. However, he was preoccupied by a faint motion up ahead. He lurked forward slowly, his large paws leaving deep imprints in the snow. Calix leapt forward, taking a small hare between his mandibles. Moving to lie next to a large tree, the brute are his fill slowly, a small perimeter of snow now stained crimson.

Vix heard the commotion outside. Vix looked at her pups then at Rei's pups. "Lucy, Blade watch the little ones. If anything happens then come and get me or Rei." Vix said as they nodded then Vix headed outside. Vix saw keev baring her teeth at Rei and Droplet. Vix walked up to Rei and Droplet. "Rei, did keev eat the herbs you gave her?" Vix asked confused.

Reika looked at Vix, a worried expression on her face. "She did earlier but this time no and I'm getting worried about her," She answered, watching as the smaller female walked off. She was about to head back to the den when a scent filled her nose and she stiffened a little. "There's someone here." She said, looking to where the scent was coming from.

Droplet watched Keeva's demeanor change towards the Alpha, his eyes flicked from the carcass back to the small dame. "Enough." The brute bared his teeth briefly, putting his fractured paw against the soft earth. This time he didn't wince from the pain, hence he decided to ignore the throbbing pain.
"I said enough." Droplet flicked his tassel, straightening his posture to a more dominate stance. "Keeva." The golden and black brute challenged quietly, daring to take a step closer. "Back down."

Even with the command given she never did as told, snapping her jaws violently and keeping her ground. Her emerald crazed eyes locked onto the large male before her. Her legs would shake slightly, feeling herself needing to lay down though she obviously ignored that.
Growling loudly while thin strands of saliva flicking about while her claws scrapped the earth before her.

Droplet bared his teeth, and swiped his paw at Keeva, holding his weight down against hers. "KEEVA" he snarled, drool escaping his maw. The golden and black brute snapped at the smaller wolves audit, missing on purpose, in attempts to scare her. Droplet pressed a bit harder, but made sure to provide some space between the two just encase she had something contagious.

Suddenly being held down was like flipping a switch in her. Her limbs kicking about as she tried to wiggle free from underneath him. Her jaws open more and clamp down hard on one of his forelimbs, adding more pressure until the sire moved off.
Inside she was scared yet also feeling the need to defend herself from...something. All she saw was some male over her, yet not who they really were.

Droplet made an almost inaudible whine as the dame bit down, the brute looked at Reika as pain filled his optics, "Get Calix, now." he said, sternly, almost having a voice crack. The brute applied more pressure, in attempts to wiggle the dame off. He couldn't hurt his packmates no- there had to be another way.
"We are family.. Calix.. Don't hurt your friends.. Keeva please... Please."

Reika watched from the sidelines not wanting to interrupt something unless she needed too. Taking a quick glance at Vix then back to Droplet and Keeva worried about the outcome. She wanted to step in but thought better of it. Angling an ear towards the den when she heard her pups whimper but didn't move, her worry for her packmates almost taking over her maternal instinct.

Vix growled. "Droplet you are already hurt so let me deal with Keev." Vixx said worried as she heard the pups whine.
Lucy and blade looked at the pups trying to hush them but they were careful not to hurt the pups. Lucy and Blade were trying to stay calm as they tried to stop the Pups from whining.

Reika snapped out of her daze with a light shake of her head. Casting a quick glance at the den, almost unnoticeable then ran off to find Calix as told. "Calix!" She shouted as she ran in the direction his scent was, hoping to find the male and quick.
Freya, who was awake, looked at Lucy and Blade with a slight tilt of her head, her deep blue eyes holding a curious glint then looked around for her mom. "M-mama?" She asked. None of the other wolves smelled like her mother. Where was she? Freya curled up more into her littermates trying to get warmer.

Droplet heard Vixen's comment but he didn't back off. He could care less if he was hurt. This was about Keeva. About his packmates. The Alpha was suppose to protect his packmates at all costs, but what was he doing? Hurting one to save the others? That wasn't right. No.
The brute winced more, trying to ignore the pain. "Keeva please.."
