It is a beautiful day at the White River Territory. Everything was silent except or the White River Pack. The pups were wondering about at the den while some of the Adults were talking or going on a walk, some of them were hunting. Some of the wolves were talking and walking around the territory. Will it be a peaceful day for them or will something interesting happen?

The crisp, white snow has smothered summer. It appears somebody has laid a sparkling white sheet over what was once summer and put it to bed. However, there is beauty in the winter too. The way the snow is sprinkled down from a grey, clouded sky and floats to the ground with grace and elegance, so pure. But spring must eventually wake up and pull off the pale blanket, revealing all the beauty it holds and melting away the snowy days. Reika emerges from under a bare, snow-covered tree and surveyed the densite with a smile on her muzzle while watching the pack out and about.

Vix was coming back to the den with a rabbit for her pups as she entered her pups ran over to her covered in snow. They smiled at her as she put the rabbit in the den for them to eat. She laid down outside to rests her pups were eating in the den. She rolled over in the snow so she was covered with snow as she laid there.

Seeing Vix with her pups made Reika smile but then frown slightly. The sight reminded her of what she could remember about her family. She also remembered that what the humans called Christmas is approaching and that this would be her first one without her parents and siblings. Reika looked up to the dark sky and sighed, sitting with her head slightly lowered.

Vixen stood up and shook herself from the snow, Vix looked at Rei seeing her sitting with her head low. Vix walked up to Rei, "Something one your mind?" Vix asked Rei as she stood, looking at Rei.

Reika looked up at Vix then back to the sno covered ground. "Just thinking about spending Christmas for the first time without my parents and siblings." She answered.

Vix had been with Humans before so she understood what Christmas was but she never seen it before. "Want to talk about it?" Vix asked Rei.

Reika shrugged. "Sure." She said, sounding bkinda reluctant but not really feeling like that. "You know how I was living with humans? Well as a pup we celebrated the Christmas holidays and the humans gave us extra meat. I miss those days."

"Why not go and visit them? I'm sure Droplet wouldn't mind" Vix said looking as Rei.

"That's the thing! I want too but I don't know where they are." Reika said, and promptly plopped down on the ground. "I honestly wish I knew." She covered her eyes with one of her forelegs.

Vix looked at Rei and she sighed. “Want to go on a walk with me it might take ur mind off of it for a little while.” Vix said as she nudged Rei softly.

Reika removed her forepaw from over her eyes at Vix's nudge and looks up at her. "Yeah, that sounds nice," She said standing up and shaking the snow off her fur.

(Surprising wolves know what Christmas is  ) Reika nodded and followed Vix. "Do you think we could do Christmas with the pack?" She asked more to herself than the other walking a little ways ahead of her. |

"Well, I'm not sure if the pack knows what Christmas is. I do since I spent it once with some humans before an incident happened that costed me to leave." Vix said. "Let's go to the lake, it looks really pretty at this time." Vix said trying to change the subject for Rei and herself.

"True," Reika says a little dejected but shook her head. Maybe both her and Vix can tell them or even show them what Christmas is like. "Yeah, the lake sounds nice. Do you think it's frozen?"

"I don't think it's cold enough yet." Vix said. She walked trying to think of something else to talk with Rei to cheer her up.

"Darn, I was hoping to have some fun on the ice," Reika said with a frown. "Ah whatever, maybe we can sing some songs while we're walking?" Hopefully, that will take her mind off her parents.

Reika got a thoughtful look on her muzzle."I'm not sure. When I was with the humans they always sang Christmas songs in either a different language or English so the one I'm thinking of you may not know.I could do an English version if you'd like."
