Vix looked at Rei then stretched. "Well why don't you guys show Rei around while I go hunt something for everyone." Vix suggested.
Kisa looked at Vix, "I will help, Vix." Kisa said as she stood up. Kishi and Snake looked at Vix and then nodded. "If you follow us Reika, we can show you the tree." Snake said smiling. Kishi headed more into the room and waited for Rei and Snake. "The other newcomers are just looking around so they will be back shortly." Kishi added.

(Let's act like Rei has already been limping since the frozen lake)
Reika nodded and slowly stood up and limped over to Kishi and Snake, not really giving Ashton much as a second glance. "Okay," she said. "Just take it slow."

Kishi and Snake nodded and Snake took the lead as Kishi stayed by Reika's side. Ashton flattened his ears and followed behind them.
Vix looked at Kisa. "Alrighty let's go then and you should be a little nicer to them you know." Vix said as she left. Kisa followed, "Yeah but still I don't trust newcomers with those collars." Vix sighed and lightly brushed against Kisa. "Well you have to be wary of others but you can take it too far." Vix finished as she smiled. Kisa nodded as she continued to follow Vix.
Snake led them into a room with a fully decorated Christmas tree. "Here it is." Snake said smiling. "We can light it up tonight after the other newcomers and Vix with Kisa come back." Kishi said as she smiled. Ashton just sat a little ways from them with his ears flattened still.

Reika followed the others into the room and looked at the tree. "I haven't seen a Christmas tree since I was with my family." She said, happy, her tail wagging but it soon turned to saddens at the thought and her tail flopped.

Kishi looked at Rei. "I can see Vixen in you when you do that." Kishi joked but then she turned serious. "I think you should remember the good times with your family and not be sad about since if they see you sad when you remember it, they would be sad too wouldn't they?" Kishi said.
Vix and Kisa were walking around and Vix saw rabbits around a berry bush. Kisa saw it too and smiled. She and Kisa crawled closer and started to hunt down the rabbits.

Reika nodded, beginning to feel better. "You're right. I won't forget the good times we've had and I won't be sad around them not unless I can help it," she said. "Time spent with family is worth every second and family is not an important thing. It’s everything."

Kishi smiled. Snake was treating Ashton's shoulder. As Kisa and Vix came in with rabbits. Vix put down four of them and Kisa put the last three down. "We found these two as we were hunting too." Kisa said as she came over and sat down by Vix. The male and female walked in as Vix looked at Rei.

Reika looked at the group as they walked into the room. She looked at the new arrivals; the male looked like her brother Lyall but he didn't have that distinct rich gold stripe down his back. Regardless of that, Reika gave the two new arrivals a smile then sat down.

The male looked at Rei and smiled. "Reika is that you?" The male asked. Vixen looked at them then motioned everyone to leave the room and she stayed outside the door to let the two wolves talk. Kisa still stayed by Vix and Vix sighed lightly.

Reika blinked a couple times then gave the male a closer look. Upon closer inspection, she did see the rich gold stripe on his back, it must've been covered by the shadows. "Lyall? Is that you?' she asked, slowly, walking towards him, a hopeful look in her eyes. "I hope I'm not dreaming," she muttered to herself.

Lyall smiled, "Yeah the humans were gonna ring me somewhere but then Snake found me and helped me escape. He brought me here." Lyall said happily.
Kisa laid down leaning into Vix and Vix stayed where she was. She looked down at Kisa then sighed low enough for no one to hear. Vix decided to let them catch up with each other so she stayed outside the room while the others stayed farther away and talked among themselves.

Unable to contain her happiness anymore, Reika ran at her brother ignoring the pain in her leg which in the end led her to tackle him to the ground and covered him in licks and nuzzles and whining. "You don't know how much I've missed ya," she said, her tail wagging like crazy.

Lyall laughed as she tackled him. "I missed you too." He said as he wagged his tag. He was happy to know she was safe and sound. He stood back up and nuzzled her.
The others heard the sound of someone being tackled so they looked towards the room. Vix shook her head to let the others know to continue what they were doing. Vix stayed where she was since she can kind of hear their voices so she wasn't worried about them getting hurt. Vix did noticed that Rei was limping. 'I was ask her about her limping once they caught up with each other.' Vix thought to herself.

Reika wrapped her forelegs around Lyall's shoulders only to almost fall over when a sharp pain lanced through her right leg and she let go of her brother and sat down, though she didn't show nor voice her pain. "Besides the incident with the humans. how have you been?" She asked, her tail still wagging. "How's mum and papa and our brother and sisters?"

Lyall looked at Rei and smiled. "They were fine when the humans took me away but now I'm not really sure. It has been days since I saw them." Lyall said as he looked away sadly but then he rejoiced. "I'm glad you are fine and safe so how have you been?" He asked smiling at her.

Reika shrugged. "I've been good." She suddenly grinned. "Remember those abilities of mine you said, well, I do have a use for them in the pack I'm in." She remembered as a pup how Lyall teased her about her knowledge on herbs but it wouldn't go too far. Reika was about to jump on Lyall again but stopped from a sharp kick in her belly and winced, sitting down again.

"Still the same as always aren't you Rei? Pack?" Lyall laughed as he sat down. "Why are you here and not with your pack then?" Lyall asked once he stopped laughing.
Vixen laid down, letting Kisa lean into her more.

"Well, I was thinking of the Christmas we had together with everyone and I got a little depressed. My friend Vix had told me of some friends of hers that celebrate Christmas and said we could go celebrate with them seeing as how I didn't know where mum, papa and everyone else was." Reika explained. "Another thing the humans did right for me I guess."

“And where is she now?” Lyall asked curiously. He was wondering what pack would accept her since the wolves here were nice but one of them were really unwelcoming.
Vix laid there and nudged Kisa. Kisa looked at her. “Sorry V.” Kisa apologized. Vix smiled. “It’s cool Kisa you needed to rest” Vix said smiling.

Reika looked around the room just now realizing that she didn't see Vix nor the others anywhere. "She was just here a second ago. But I'm more curious over who that was with you." She answered, then gave her brother a knowing look. Though it changed to one of a grimace as she was kicked again."Okay, you little ones need to stop that." she muttered to herself.
