Droplet shifted his gaze to the drawing. "This is Beech, and shes a lambada." The large male gestured to the dame before opening his maw to speak once more "She's mute." His demeanor was steady, confident at most - although he hesitated to say her weakness. God knows what their plan was - were they here to stay?

Vix could hear Droplet's voice since she was near them. She walked out of the tree's shadow as she arrived and looked at the two wolves then Droplet, Rei and Beech. Vix sat down near Rei.

Beech nodded, at Droplet's assertion of her muteness. She half wondered how long she would actually be able to go after meeting a new wolf without them finding out she was mute. It wasn't exactly an easy thing to hide. She pointed to the drawing again and directed her gaze at the newcomers.

“Ah, no worries. Yakone talks enough for everyone,” Anik laughs, sending a playful look over his shoulder at his scowling father. “Once he’s comfortable, that is. I’m assuming this isn’t everyone? Seems like a pretty big territory for just you lot.”

“Once he’s comfortable, that is. I’m assuming this isn’t everyone? Seems like a pretty big territory for just you lot. Droplet nodded. "Yes, there are quite a few of us. 26 - I reckon there be more." His golden optics glanced at the arriving packmates. "Let me introduce those who showed up."
The golden black male cocked his head, facing the wolves he called aloud. He concluded with; "And this is Vixen."

Anik dips his head lower in a polite greeting, though looking a little stunned at the number provided. “I’m Anik,” he introduces, his accent seeming to almost thicken to pronounce his name as it’s meant to be, “and this is Yakone.”
Yakone, going for a more formal greeting, as well as to rest his aching joints, lowers his frontal portion into a low bow before dropping his hindquarters to the same level and lying down.

Poker lashed her tail as she trotted up to the group with her automail. A low growl rippled from her jaws as she slowed down behind the unknown wolves. “And they are...?” Her ears flattened. She had smelt them from afar yet only now approached

“No threat to you,” Yakone yawns, resting his pate tiredly upon his sore paws. “Trust me, I’m too old to even try anything without throwing out my hip or breaking something.” The last comment is added with a light chuckle, his expression almost amused as he glances back at the new arrival. “And if my pup were going to try something, he would’ve before we were outnumbered. Nothing to worry about, I assure you.”

The male gave Poker a sideways glance, flicking his tassel to silence her. "I apologize on behalf of my - Zeta." he mused, letting a low sigh escape his maw. "She's just doing her job, like anyone else in this pack." Droplet guestered his head to the dame. "Nonetheless, this is Poker - everyones favorite wolf" he let out a chuckle, letting a smooth joke slide into the conversation.

Poker couldn’t help but chuckle “Well obviously I’m the favorite. I’m so friendly and kind, always nice” she joked sitting down. Poker made her way near Droplet before yawning.

“Pleasure to make your acquaintance,” Yakone muses, tongue rasping lazily over the pads of his forepaws. “I know we’ve said it already but, as there’s a newcomer, I suppose I’ll say it again. Sorry about any alarm we may have caused, crossed over mostly due to Anik being unaware of his surroundings.”

Beech rolled her eyes as her question was ignored but inadvertently answered. Everything was alright and it the pack had visitors. Visitors that would need to be fed and provided a den. Did they even have a spare den near or in camp? They were quite a large pack, part of the reason why they spanned such a vast territory, they needed that much land to feed such a heavy concentration of wolves through the scarce winter months and still have enough prey animals left to repopulate and support the pack through the next years. A new den could be built, she supposed, but that would take time. She went over her mental map of the camp and found the answer to her question. One unused den. It was ramshackle and would need some repairs before it would be weather tight, but it would do for a warmer night without rain like this one. She sketched a map of the camp, marking the empty den, then directed Droplet's attention to the map.

Droplet flicked his audit in response to Yakone's apology. "Well -" he paused for a few hot seconds. "Beech.." the male said turning to the dame - she drew a sign. The golden and black alpha padded to the sketch. "Den?" He mused gently, lowering his voice.

Vix looked at Droplet and Beech confused as she walked over and saw Beech's sign. She then heard Droplet say Den. Vix got closer and then looked at Beech. "Are you saying they should stay here?" Vix whispered enough for Droplet and Beech to hear only.

Beech looked up in slight confusion. They clearly weren't in any shape to travel and they needed a place to sleep, didn't they? They seemed ok, not that the pack really counted whether a wolf was "ok". Pretty much if you hadn't killed anyone you were good. Scratch, as long as you hadn't killed anyone in the pack you were good. She nodded and sketched a sun setting, at least for the night they were staying as far as she thought was logical.

Droplet placed his tassel against Vixen's as she spoke. He nodded, the brute's facial expression changed from thoughtful to confused. "Uh-" The male inspected the sign closely - was that a sunset? He turned to face the setting sun, in which was making eerie shapes in the forested landscape. "A place to sleep." Droplet mumbled to himself, only in earshot to the dames. "A place to sleep!" he repeated louder, confidently.

Reika shook her head amused having heard only half on the conversation. She picked up the thyme in front of her the turned to leave after saying, "It was nice meeting you Anik, Yakone but I need to continue with my task." With that, she walked off back to the pack's densite, nodding to Poker, Vix, Beech and Droplet while passing by them.

Yakone murmurs a quiet ‘farewell’, before looking up at Droplet’s exclamation. “Is everything alright there, pup?” He inquires, looking and sounding mildly concerned as his head tilts to the side. Anik looks more confused than worried, his head tilted similarly to the elder’s.

Droplet nodded at the Elders comment. His audits flicked uneasy at the word "pup". "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. Although, we should head back to the densite." He looked at the sun once more, before opening his maw again to speak. "Its getting dark."
