Kaj pauses next to Alika, gaze scanning over the city ahead of them before shifting to the smaller canine. “Let’s be careful, Alika. Stay where I can see you.”

Kito found himself lost on the outskirts of the town. “Well this is perfect..” He gave off an irritated sigh as he pushed forthward entering the forest of stone.

“We’re no fun because going in blind is dangerous, pup.” He approaches the city, his pace brisk but wary and ears pricked as much as they can be, his posture a bit tense as they enter the unknown city.

Raven approached where Kaj stopped and heard Alika and Kaj. Raven nodded agreeing with Kaj. "Going in blind is wishing to get killed at times." Raven said bluntly. Raven never liked sugarcoating things even if she was talking to young wolves or pups.

Alika stomped her paw against the cracked pavement stubbornly. "Well-" she began to protest, but was soon cut off due to a wail. "Someone help me!" A distant call echoed. The Shiba Inu whipped her head around her audits perked. "Who said that?!"

Yuki glanced at Raven with a deadpan look. "Could've been a little less blunt." She said then when she heard a distant call, she stood, a bit tense.

The German canine stiffens at the calling, his lips peeling back in a wary snarl as he starts at a jog toward the source. "Someone keep an eye on Alika. Someone else come with me to check this out."

Alika opened her mouth to protest about Kajetans comment, but quickly shut it, nodding her head slowly. "Please be careful.." She whispered, only in earshot to her friends.

"I hate sugarcoating things. Being realistic is the best way to be. That's what I learned growing up." Raven said as she looked at Yuki then turned her attention to the sound. Raven looked at Kaj then nodded. "So who is going with him?" Raven asked Yuki as she looked at her.

Yuki looked at Raven then Kajetan. "I'll go and also, maybe just try and not be too realistic with younger dogs. Some can't handle that." She walked over to stand next to Kajetan, ears pricked forward.

When Yuki approaches, Kaj nods before turning and starting toward the sound at a brisk pace. “What do you think it is?”

Raven nodded to Yuki as Yuki went with Kaj. Raven sat down and looked at Alika. 'How do I even sugarcoat things for them.' Raven asked herself as she looked in the direction that Yuki and Kaj went.

He nods, his posture tensing somewhat at the thought of it being a human. “Let’s hope it isn’t,” he murmurs, quickening his pace ever so slightly.

The human screamed once more "OHHHHHHHHHH" she wailed, wobbling out into the streets. Her eyes were gray, with red lines filling the white parts. She held her belly - which was abnormally big. "HELP ME!" the woman coughed, her eyes now focused on the dogs.

Kajetan suddenly stops when he sees the woman, looking rather stunned. He doesn’t take the time to think before he approaches, his gaze on her stomach and looking almost concerned. “Yuki,” he mumbles, pausing a couple of inches before the human, “something’s wrong.”

Yuki didn't reply but she cautiously approached the woman, looking both weary and concerned. She stopped a few inches from the human and sniffed her. "What do think is wrong?" She asked her companion.

Kito mumbled to himself as he entered the unknown city, he knew the pack was around somewhere but he had no energy to find them. He glared at the tall broken structures that once swarmed with humans as he sauntered along.

The human wailed again, and again before turning her head to the right, and throwing up a red, gooey substance. Was that Blood?
Alika could see everything from a distance. She cautiously watched the lady screaming for her. She couldn't quite make out the words the woman was saying, but Alika knew she was in distress. As she threw up, the dame took a few steps back, her face portrayed a horrid look,
