Yuki remains silent, listening to the elder canine's words. "I guess that's a good thing but what are we going to do with the pup, we can't care for it like it's mother." She asked, becoming a little worried about the human's pup if it survives when she won't.

“Then we take care of it until it meets the same fate as the other humans, or we find someone that can.” He doesn’t leave much room for any argument, a majority of his focus on calming the woman.

The woman pushed as hard as she could, her face turning pale. She screaming, wailed, and cried as she was pushing. "OHhhhhhhhhhhh" Alicia moaned. A tiny head appeared, but something was odd about this baby. Was it a different color? The woman grabbed on a rock and threw it out of pain and anger.
Alika looked towards the unknown being, almost gagging "Ew what is she doing-"

Raven looked at alika. “She is giving birth, I think.” Raven said as she looked at the woman. She has seen others give birth before but not humans.

Kaj is quick to move down to the baby, blocking the view of the others and lowering his head to make sure everything went well. His tail wags slowly, and he occasionally gives a small lick to the human’s nearest body part - most often her knee or hip, in a hopefully reassuring manner.

Yuki gently nudges Alicia's hand that had thrown the rock and whined softly. She moves the woman's hand to the top of her head and licks her cheek.

Alika frowned as she couldn't see whats happening. Kajetan was blocking the way. Not like she wanted to see anyway. "Like.. Giving birth to a pup?" the dame cocked her head, oblivious.
Alicia smiled at the dogs efforts. As she finished giving birth, her breathing was faster than usual, sweat ran across her face. "Why isn't my baby crying?" she said, starting to sob.
The baby had died.

Yuki glanced at the lifeless pup with a whine but remained in her spot by the woman's side only moving to somewhat lay on her lap, hoping to comfort the human the best she could.

Kajetan seems to frown at the lack of noise from the infant, lowering his head and rasping his tongue over the young human’s body to clean it. A low whine sounds from the stag, his gaze turned away from Alicia. “Keep her occupied, Yuki.”

Yuki nodded and rolled over onto her back, giving Alicia an invitation to rub her belly and sending her the puppy eyes for good measure. She hoped that this will help keep the human occupied for a little while.

Raven looked at Alika and smiled. "Yeah" Raven replied and then looked around for any threats near her and Alika or near the others. Raven then turned back to where Yuki and Kaj was.

Alicia ignored the dogs, but instead grabbed the baby, shaking it a little. "Wake up, please.. please.." She cried, shaking the baby more. Was she crazy? The woman squeezed the small lifeless creature. stroking it softly. Her bloodshot eyes held a mixture of sadness and anger. "YOU DID THIS!" she screeched, throwing the baby to the side. Yuki yelped slightly scared, from falling off the human's lap and surprised by the human's reaction and jumped away, ears pinned, lips pulled up in a slight snarl and tail raised. "What the heck?" She exclaimed. "Kaj-san, what is going on? Could it be what's wrong with her?"

(Oof sorry hella late)
Kajetan snarls when the woman starts yelling, his lip peeling back to reveal his canines and a series of sharp barks sounding to back her up. He steps forward, fur bristling and muscles bunching as if preparing himself for an attack. It wouldn’t be the first time he’d had to react in such a way, and so he didn’t hesitate.

Alika saw the human throw something she couldn't quite place her paw on. "What's going on?" she asked Raven, her audits twitched nervously.
The woman got up, shakily. Her bloodshot eyes were focused on one of the dogs. "You did this.." she repeated in tears.

Yuki backed up, lips curling up in warning, ears pinned, fur bristling and low growls emitting from her. Why was this human blaming her and the others for what happened to her pup? What did they do? She couldn't attack a human even though it would be self defense.

Odette had been traveling with the group silently for the most part, the Aussie had never run into a human that acted in this manner before, she always avoided the buildings before joining the group of other dogs. This was extremely odd for Oddy, the speckled dame's hackles were raised and her mismatch optics were wide "Bloody hell is wrong with er?" Odette's accent lay thick as she kept her gaze on the weird acting human woman.

Raven watched the others with the human. Raven looked at Alika and then back at the others. "Something is wrong with the human so maybe you shouldn't watch this." Raven said as she continued watching the others with the human.
