Beech tilted her head, seeming confused about something. She shook it off and fell in behind Vixen, her leg still held gingerly above the ground.

With the sounds of her packmates pawsteps moving, Starstrike brought herself what she could only guess was about two tail-lengths away from Beech. Constantly rotating her ears at every slight sound, Starstrike also kept her nose on the lookout for any strange scents. When she heard Droplet emitt a soft whine, she turned towards him and barked quietly "What is it?" Starstrike also noticed by the uneven way that Beech's paws were hitting the ground that she wasn't using one of her legs, and she resolved to ask Beech if she was alright.

Vixen started to walk towards the direction star pointed as her scratches ached but she ignored it. She kept an eye out for more dangers.

"We need to stop" Droplet said irritated "They're hurt. They could get infected. From my guess, none of you know any herbs besides the bare minimum" The brute looked around and sighed "We should walk for at least 15 more minutes or until be find a cave to rest in. I can't risk the safety of you all"

Starstrike nodded her head at what Droplet said "You're right, but if they insist that they are fine then there isn't much we can do, other than resting like you said." Turning towards Beech and Vixen, Starstrike called out and said "Hey stop for the moment." Folding one ear back and tilting her head in thought, Starstrike barked softly "Alright Droplet you have a point, we do need to rest and it's likely getting pretty late by now anyway. Let's keep going for a just a bit longer and keep an eye for a place to sleep." Starstrike waved her tail in the air briefly and hoped it would draw Beech and Vixen closer, before she repeated what she just told Droplet. "Is everyone fine with this plan?" She asked.

Beech nodded, gently touching her nose to Starstrike's shoulder to let the other wolf know she had heard. She yawned, then got ready to start walking again.

Vixen stopped and nodded since starstrike was the leader. She waited on them before she started to walk again.

Starstrike felt Beech nudge her shoulder, and took that as reasoning that Beech heard what she said. She also figured that Vixen heard as well, when Droplet said that he would keep guard when they found a spot, Starstrike dipped her head and started forward.

Vixen walked ahead of them a little, she saw a cave not far from the path they were talking. "Guys, theres a cave not far from the path." Vixen announced as she looked back at them. "I can go check to see if it's safe or not." Vixen volunteered.

"No need, I got it." Vixen said as she walked towards the cave. She went inside and looked around as well as checking if there were scents of any threats. Vixen could smell a faint scent of a cougar so she guessed it was the cougar that attacked beech. Vixen finally decided the cave was okay since the cougar was fatally wounded during her fight. Vixen went outside and saw the others. "Guys, it's safe to come in." Vixen said as she stood there keeping an eye out for other dangers.

Starstrike heard Vixen say that she spotted a cave and if she could check it out. She was about to respond with, "Yes go ahead, but be careful and take Droplet with you." when Droplet asked if he could go with and Vixen said she would be fine. Deciding not to say anything other than "Be careful." Starstrike forced herself to wait. As soon as Vixen said it was safe to go in, Starstrike shook her head briefly before heading in the direction Vixen's voice came from. "Come on then, let's get some rest." She told the others.

Droplet nodded, rubbing against StarStrike's side to guide her. Sharp pointy rocks stuck out of the cave occasionally. Once the brute was face to face with Vixen, he gave a quick respectful dip of his head. ''Thank you'' .. ''Get some rest everyone'' the males voice raised so he could address everyone.

Beech nodded and followed the others into the cave, dropping heavily onto the floor and falling asleep without bothering to shake the rainwater out of her fur.

Vixen dipped her head back. She laid down near the entrance of the cave and checked her scratches to make sure none of them were infected. She licked her still bleeding scratch on her front leg, it seemed to get larger so she hid it from the rest and pretended to go to sleep, tucking the side with the cut against her.

Droplet looked upon the pack, worried. With a huff, the brute settled himself down by the entrance, resting his head on his paws. ''Totally ready for tomorrow'' Droplet joked rolling his eyes

Starstrike felt Droplet rub against her, and at first she tensed, before realizing he was guiding her. Once in the cave, Starstrike turned towards Droplet "Thank you, wake me when you need rest and I'll take the next watch." She told him before finding a spot to curl up.
