Poker perked her ears at his idea. “Yes that’ll work wonders!” Her tail held a quick wag as she snarled to the bear. “You start the herd this way and I’ll make sure he doesn’t push into the area more. Once I hear you I’ll help” a small smile lifted her face as she kept trying advances at the bear. Her moves slowing down as she tired

The brute smiled to hear that the female was on board with his idea. ‘Very well’ he nodded at her trotting off further towards the elk herd. ‘Make sure your out of the way by the time the herd arrives’ he said not looking back. He proceeded to head towards the elk and worked his way around the lot of them. He looked for the best way to keep them all heading in the same direction. After the brute had made a couple rounds of the well sized herd he began his herding process.
He started off by getting them tucked up against one another gathering them into a smaller pile of mass so it was easier to control. He then used fear to pressure the herd to move in the direction that he needed them to, making sure they all stay together, snarling and barking at them baring his teeth and showing he was a threat. As the herd moved they stayed as one making it easier for Seth to control. He started to pick up the pace as it was barely a stampede. He went from a light gentle trot to an energetic run- gliding swiftly across the land.... he went into an attack mode coercing the herd to get away from the threat - that was him. He kept them going straight towards the female and the bewildered bear. He started shouting warning the female to move, as he had the racing herd of elk heading straight at them. ‘Poker! I have the stampede. Get the bear!’ He shouted over the sound of thundering hooves hitting the dusted land.
All that was left was to somehow get around the herd to help poker. He ran a distance around them seeing them still stampeding as a group and having to pick up the pace, to reach the others in time. He finally reached the female. ‘Now to get the bear angry, we don’t have long .... I can lead it .... if you want?’ He said leaving the question open for her. His breathing harsh and erratic from the change in pace.

Poker heard Seth coming and snarled to the bear. “Okay you lead let’s get this going”. Poker shook her pelt as she locked her plates and hid her knife once again.

The brute faced the elk coming straight for them. Easy - annoy the bear then run at the stampede.... and make sure not to get trampled. ‘I’m going to have the beast chase me through the stampede of elk. Poker I need you behind the bear to keep it driving forwards and to keep and eye on it from behind. I won’t be able to know if it had stopped following me’ He spoke in a rushed tone seeing as they didn’t have much time. With all that he had to say out, he attacked the bear ,trying to bite it and claw at it, trying to seem like he was a threat. Seth then allowed the bear to try and have a go at him. Keeping his distance - he turned and taunted the bear to chase him.... as it looked like it wanted a challenge. He broke into a light run not straying to far from it so the bear could still see him , but staying a safe distance ahead. Towards the stampede they went.

Poker nodded briefly before heading behind the bear. She snarled and nipped at the bears legs and hind quarters keeping him moving. Her ears shifted wildly as she tried to guess how close the stampede was

The brute carried on running until he finally saw the herdling stampede ascend upon him, the bear and one of his fellow pack members. He continued to close the distance between them. Finally he arrived at his destination. The herd. He never backed down, his paws thumping across the stretch of land. He reached the herd and realised how fast all this had happened - his speed combined with the opposing speed in the opposite direction with was aimed towards him. Could he weave between the elk fast enough? That, he didn’t know the answer to.

Poker snapped at the bear one last time before running. Realizing how close the stampede was her ears lifted. They were gonna die. This was gonna he just like the lion king. Her pups would appear out of thin air and cry and her brother would tell them to leave. She could see if clearly now. Mostly because she was dizzy and light headed. Maybe it was the thought of death coming so quickly. Or the heavy stream of blood leaving her body. Maybe some drugs. Who knows. Definitely not Poker as she could barely keep a straight line

The brute shot a glance back and frowned, knowing that this was going to end badly if he didn’t do something . He saw poker wobbling as she ran. She couldn’t go through with it. He didn’t know what was up with her but the only thing he could think of was to have her stop and he could finish it. He made a decision but he was not sure if she would listen to him. ‘Poker fall back!’ He called running head first into the elk. All he could hope for is that she heard him and stayed safe.

Pokers ears shifted back as she heard him. Fall back? Poker flattened her ears as she could feel the dust the elk were kicking up. Poker faultered in her steps as she tripped over her leg. She allowed her auto mail to catch her just barely. She tried to think fast on what she was doing. Backing out now wasn’t good. She couldn’t weave her way through either so she was definitely gonna get hurt. She was going through. Risking it was better then turning around. Poker had to lean on her auto mail through making it difficult to turn quickly. As the first few elk passed her mind raced with memories of her past. She spread her paws letting more ground be covered as she widened her stride and picked up her pace.

Seth got past the first few elk swiftly, to then proceed through the herd to then realise they were ascending upon the centre. He shot a glance back. What he saw made him panic. ‘Poker... what are you doing?’ He sighed heavily to himself, turning to face the path that he had chosen. The bear was closing in on him seeming to grow more aggressive. Well definitely no turning back so through the herd it was. To try anything else at this point would have been suicide, for all of them. That he couldn’t risk. As soon as he hit the centre he carried on straight threw weaving more randomly threw the elk hoping the bear wouldn’t be able to cope with the quick random turns. Finally he found his way out of the elk and started growing to a halt. Time to see the results he turned around.

Once poker came to the center many elk made contact with her. Her sides being kicked and scraped over and over again. She practically fell out of the other side of the stampede. Losing her balance Poker rolled onto her side in the dust that still was held in the air

What he saw made his heart thud rapidly. No bear but a pack member who didn’t look in good shape. He ran to poker and sat down staying with her to make sure she was alright. ‘Poker.... are you okay?’ He asked eyes full of concern.

Pokers ears twitched as she rolled over facing Seth. “Yeah I’ll be good” Poker held a fake smile as many marks and bruises were obvious on her face and sides. Blood caked into her fur in various places.

'Stay here' He told her. ' I'll be back' he followed up shortly. The brute wondered over to the fuzzy lump on the ground. By this time the elk had scattered and were all gone. He growled lowly to the bear, his fur raised, crouching ready to attack if it was a trick. The beast looked up with a battered face and slowly got up, struggling. 'GO!' He commanded to the wild beast. The bear turned, limping away slowly , back into the large wilderness where he belonged. The brute wondered back over to his fellow pack member Poker. 'The bears gone and wont be coming back for a very, very long time... he learnt his lesson. Now he knows what happens when he messes with the wrong pack. He will think twice about coming back here.' He reassured the female with a calm, warm tone, smiling.

Poker gave him a slight smile as she forced herself to stand. Poker quickly sat with a gentle grunt. Her ears shifted wildly as her tail curled to her side.

He wondered beside her. 'Lets go back to the den poker' His tone calm and thoughtful. 'You look beat and im ... well me.' He chuckled to himself. With that he began to slowly walk back to the den, glancing to her every now and again.

Vix walked out of the lake and looked at the others swimming. Vix smiled as she laid down to rest. 'Well I hadn't had a peaceful day like this for awhile now.' Vixen thought to herself. Vix watched the dames as they swam.

Lowering herself down upon the dry land she kept her emerald eyes on the others silently, watching them swim about in the water and having a blast. "You all seem to be having fun there." She said speaking softly. Finally pulling herself up to sit in her rear, her tail curling against her rump and ears held in a relax position. She didn't dare step closer to the water. The small dam just didn't feel all that comfortable to join in, just imagining being in there gave her a cold chill down her back.

Reika swam back to the lake's edge after a while and once out, she shook the water out of her fur and ending up like some fluff ball. "Oh, yeah, having a blast." She said, sitting down. Thankfully for her, the water had lessened the uncomfortable feeling from her collar; which is waterproof. "You're missing out."

"Oh well uh..." She paused, turning her gaze to the water once more before turning to Reika. "I can't really swim that well, I'm afraid of sinking. Just being near a large body of water like this makes me uncomfortable." Flattening her ears upon her crown her head lowers a bit before shuffling her paws. "But I'm having fun watching you all." Giving a nervous laugh she picked up her head though inched back more on the safe dry earth.
