“I’m Umi, nice to meet you Reika.” Umi chuckled at the dame’s startling “Don’t worry I don’t bite.” Her tassel swayed as she was happy to meet a new face that seemed equally as friendly if not a little nervous.

Reika let out the breath she didn't know she held and said "It's nice to meet you too, Umi." She was already beginning to calm down but she was still a little nervous. "I'm glad you don't. I'm not sure I want to fight now."

Vixen approached them, her pups were in the den so when they wake up she planned to introduce them to the female. "My name is Vixen, Welcome to the pack." Vixen greeted the female as she joined Umi and the female.

Reika turned to the female approaching, Vixen she said her name was. "My name is Reika, nice to meet you." She said with a nod and a friendly smile. "Though I'm not sure if I'll be staying here for long." She added after a moment. "But thank you for welcoming me."

Umi let a frown peep through her maw “Not staying? Well it’s all up to you, it would be nice to have another friendly face.” The golden dame smiled once more now curious about Reika “Where did you come from?”

Droplet shook his pelt, letting out a small grunt. "Are you hungry?" he mused softly. "I can offer you a small meal. Nothing extraordinary though. Food is running low, and with many mouths to feed it becomes rather difficul-" the brute cleared his throat. "Can I offer you anything?"

Reika pinned her ears and brought her tail closer to herself. "I don't know exactly but I do know is that I was with the humans." She answered the golden furred female's question. Reika then turned to the male from earlier. "Just something to eat. Doesn't have to be anything large." She said softly.

“Humans...?” Umi looked even more curious yet confused she had heard of these creatures, but never encountered them growing up she was taught to stay away from any, yet never seen one before.

"Humans are basically creatures walking on their back legs only and they have less fur then we do." Vixen explained even to se aged humans...well some of them.

Droplet focused his eyes on Vixen while she talked, flicking his audits acknowledgment to Reikas comment. "Odd." he muttered before turning away in the dense forest once more. "Ill be back." the male called from behind him.

Reika nodded at Vixen's brief explaination. "Yes, humans are some strange creatures but most mean well." She replied. "Those ones are the nice kind." At the thought of humans, her mind went to.the collar on her neck and she scratched at the device with an iritate mutter of "Stupid thing,"

Droplet padded, his optics squinted. The bushed rustled, the male stopped in his tracks. A scrawny squirrel picked at some nuts, although it was too late, Droplet let out a low growl before swiping his paw at the tiny critter. The squirrel squeaked, struggling with its inflicted wounds. The brute frowned. "Sorry, little guy." he muttered before bending his crania, snapping the squirrels neck.

"From what my parents told me, I don't blame you," Reika said. "There are those kinds of humans who aren't the best. My mum was hurt by bad humans." Just thinking about that made her blood boil and she growled. "Bloody humans." Reika looked at Umi and nodded. "Yeah, papa told me the humans use these things to make sure we're safe from bad humans."

Reika scratched at the collar again, a growl of annoyance emitting from her maw. "It's not. This thing may do wonders for the humans but it's a pain in the arse for me. This thing is itchy and the blooding thing won't fall off for at least 18 months." she sighed, her tail thumping the ground in her annoyance.

Droplet trotted back to the group, he smoothly rubbed against Umi's fur as he made his way to Reika. "Here." The male nodded, before gingerly dropping the squirrel besides the dames paw. "I'm sorry thats all I could get." he shrugged gently. "Can I offer you any herbs?"
