Umi smiled as Droplet reappeared and brushed by her. She then chuckled heartily at Reika’s response “Furball huh? Alright guess I asked for that.” Her tassel still swaying.

Reika looked at the squirrel then the male, a smile on her muzzle. "It's no trouble. It's better than nothing and the herbs aren't necessary, I'm alright." she thanked him then began to eat, avoiding the fur.

Umi oddly stood unsure of what to say next. She somehow hoped this Reika would stay with them. She seemed good company.

Droplet yawned, staring at the dame who he gave the squirrel to. He shook his pelt. "Can I offer any of you lads' anything else?"
the male looked half expectant at Umi.

Reika merely just shook her head. She was about to finish the rodent when she felt small movement in her belly and grit her teeth to stop from whimpering.

Vixen looked at Reika then she heard her pups. “Mom, where are you?” She heard Lucy’s and Blade’s voice. “Over here and Reika, these two are my pups.” Vixen said as Lucy and Blade came over and sat down under Vixen. They looked at Reika and tilted their heads.

Reika looked at Vixen then the two pups. "Hello you two." She greeted the two with a kind smile. "They're adorable." She says to Vixen.

The pups smiled and answered, “ My name is Lucy and this is my brother Blade.” Vixen smiled at Reika, “thank you, they were asleep and I was gonna introduce you to both of them later.” Vixen said.

Reika smiled. She frowned slightly at what both Vixen and Umi had said to her earlier. 'Should I join the pack or should I find another one?' She wonders mentally. Glancing at the wolves around her, she whined quietly, ears pinned. 'Would they hate me because of my intelligence?' With that thought in mind, she lowered her head and sighed.

Vixen looked at Reika from her pups. "Something one your mind?" She asked as she heard Reika sigh.

Reika shrugged, not sure if she should answer or not. She finally settled for speaking, "I was debating if I should stay or go and if I do would you guys would accept me with my intelligence," she said but mumbled the last part.

Vixen smiled. "Lucy, Blade, why Don't you guys go play while me and Reika talk." Vix said as they nodded and walked off. Vix looked at Reika. Vix laid down and invited Reika to lay down as well. "I know how you feel about deciding to stay or not." Vix said as she looked at Reika.

Umi smiled at Droplet’s question, but shook her head “No thanks Droplet.” She then turned her attention to hearing Reika ‘s words, she heard the last part as well. “Of course we’d accept you Reika, I think it’d be silly not to. Nothing wrong with a intelligent dame either.” Umi smiled warmly.

Reika laid down, carefully and looked at Vixen uncertain but not distrustful. "You do?" She asked, interested. "What is it like? I've been with my original pack for my whole life and my older siblings didn't quite like me or our younger brother Faolan."

"I was like you in some ways. My parents and siblings were killed by the pack I was soon taken in by that pack. I was trained to be a killer/fighter by the Alpha. I was soon adopted by him when his daughter died. I fell in love with by his eyes isn't allowed so he and some of his loyal followers chased me out. I came by here and Everyone welcomed me. At first, I didn't open up to anyone since I barely knew them but I slowly did. I felt like I didn't belong here at all since everything was different and new." Vix smiled, "Everyone here will welcome you no matter what, Reika so don't worry about not fitting in, each wolf here has something that makes them unique so don't look at it as a flaw but look at it as an opportunity to teach others new things they didn't know about." Vix finished as she looked at Reika smiling.

Reika was silent during Vixen' story. Throughout, her expressions ranged from, horrified, sympathy and happy. "So you would accept me even if I was with the humans?" She asked uncertainly, ears flat but not all the way. "She just wanted to make sure, she didn't want to be lured into a trap of false hope and everyone hates her except a few.

"I may hate humans but you never did to me or the pack, plus I did spend some time with humans so I know there are good ones and bad ones." Vix smiled before continuing. "So I can't judge you, Reika." Vix finished.

The tension Reika felt that had kept her from calming down for a bit was diminishing quickly from the reassuring words from the two. "Well in that case, I think I'll stay." She said confidently.
