Droplet kept walking, his audits twitched anxiously as he thought he had heard his name. Was he that far? Oops. The brute didn't seem to mind. "Bet they didn't notice i'm gone" he huffed gently before shifting his gaze to a cave. "Anyone there?" Droplet barked, with a bit of aggression. No reply. The Alpha male made his way inside the cave, settling down in the shadows.

Reika growled exasperated and in pain. She didn't know how long she was walking for but it was for a while and blisters had started to appear on her paws. "Droplet, where are you?!" She called again then shook the snow out of her fur again. She walked for a little longer than decided to take a break by a fallen tree.

Umi huffed replying to Vixen as the golden dame finally sat down “Maybe she’ll have some luck and find him.” Umi tried to be optimistic.

'I wonder whats taking Rei so long to find Droplet? Surely Droplet didn't go that far. Right?' Krystal wondered as she laid in the snow half asleep half awake. She made a small yawn and shook her head. Something was moving at the corner of Krystal's eye. She turned her head and saw a small beetle crawling on the snow. 'That's odd. Its too cold for a bug to be out in the snow.' Krystal said silently. She moved her head closer and out of the blue it disappeared. "What the-" She said but cut herself off. //she looked around to see if anyone heard.

Rei stood up, her paws still hurting but not as much as before and continued on her mission. It wasn't until later that she came upon a cave. Cautiously walking towards it, a familiar scent fills her nose and she became optimistic but also unsure. "Droplet?" She called tentatively. "Are you there?"

Droplet opened his eyes, slowly lifting his head at a familiar voice. The brute narrowed his eyes, looking away without a reply. Instead, he backed slowly into the shadows so he couldn't be seen.

Rei sighed. "Droplet I know you're there." She said. "Please come out, everyone is starting to womder where you are." Rei stepped closer into the cave, ears forward in case she hears something.

"No." he stated simply, with a shrug. "Give me one valid reason why I should return, if all I get are foul reactions, and growls." Droplet narrowed his eyes at the dame "How would you know if that pup does or does not carry anything contagious?" -- "I honestly guarantee I can find a pack with more respect." The large brute added, coldly keeping himself from saying nasty remarks. "Leave, Reika."

Rei took a shocked step back, a bit of hurt showing in her eyes then narrowed them slightly. "You want reasons, fine," she said, stepping towards Droplet. "1) The pack respects you. You have shown us nothing but kindness. 2)You don't snap at either of us or treat us badly nor abuse your power. Now today was the only reason you got foul reactions and growls is because you were cold to a "defenseless pup" Rei paused for a minute to calm her breathing. "How would I know if the pup was carrying anything contagious is because I am an Iota. I know how to identify the signs of sickness." She gave Droplet a look of determination. "I'm not leaving until I see that you aren't going to leave us again."

Droplet huffed, his eyes softening. "Fine." He let out a low growl, in attempts to hide his softside. "I don't want to speak of this again. You hear me?" The large golden-black Alpha narrowed his eyes, a bit Just "Don't get use to that pup. It isn't staying forever."

Rei nodded, happy that he wasn't leaving or arguing more. "I understand," she said. "At least let her stay until she's old enough to fend for herself." Not waiting for an answer, Rei turns around and heads back the way she came.

"She?" The brute mumbled lowly, before following the dame back. His head lay low, and his eyes were fixed on the ground. A small sigh slipped from Droplets maw as he saw his pack mates - more relief rather anger.

"Yes, she," Rei confirmed, then sighed and cast her gaze to the ground and her eyes darkened. "You know what you said earlier, it really hurt and I don't hurt very often." She glanced back at the other wolf, her voice sounded more pained than anything. "You and the rest of the pack are the first since my parents, Faolan and a few others back home actually that has accepted me because of my intelligence on the humans and herbs."

Yakone, now awake, is letting out a series of sharp yips to call for Anik. Reluctantly, the younger pads into the den. “What is it?” He grumbles, looking unamused as the elder instantly brightens at the sight of his son. His tail thumps against the ground, ears pricked and expression excited as Anik approaches. Silently curling up against his father, Anik relaxes at the distantly familiar warmth contrasting the cold of the outside.

Finally arriving back, Rei pads back to the den with Yakone, since Droplet was back she didn't mind if he followed, she just want to get out of the cold. Walking in, she isn't too surprised to see Anik with him. "Hey guys." She greeted the two.

Vixen saw Rei and Droplet back. Vix laid where she was and closed her eyes soon she dozed off to sleep.

“Hello, Reika,” Yakone greets happily, while Anik only angles an ear toward her voice in acknowledgment. Yakone’s tail thumps against the ground in a greeting, tongue lolling from his maw. “You were out for a while. Cold?”

Rei shrugged then shook the snow off her fur. "Not really but my paws hurt a little." She said, oblivious to the fact that as she walked to her original spot, one of her paws was bleeding.

He nods, seeming to frown as his gaze flickers down to the blood left behind by her paw. “Did something happen? You’re bleeding.”

Rei tilted her head then looked down at her paws to see said blood. "Huh, must've been the cold." She mused to herself. Picking up the injured paw, limped to her spot, laid down and licked her paw. "Can I get some Yarrow before this gets worse?" She asked. "Its the one with the tangy scent and jagged green leaves."
