"Droplet be less rude next time, it's just a pup." Vix said a little strict. "Plus I don't think Yakone did yet so I am about to go grab a piece of the deer for Yakone." Vix answered as she walked over to Droplet. "Since I know he wouldn't want to leave Rei and the pups alone." Vix finished as she went to the deer to eat and grab a piece for Yakone.

Hearing Droplet's cold tone, Reika growls low but didn't comment. Why was he so cold to a pup? She didn't say anything but she did nod, her tail lashing. Standing up which caused the pup to let go of her belly and fall, only a short distance onto the snow and whimper. Picking the pup by its scruff and follows Yakone to one of the dens. Once there, she sets the pup on a patch of soft moss and lays back down next to it and the pup resumed nursing.

Umi shook her head what harm could a small barely alive pup do? She had finished eating by now as she stepped away from the carcass.

Droplet was about to return the growl, but he shook his head, holding his tongue. Who knows what those loners carry, perhaps Canine Parvovirus. How did they know that the pup didn't have anything? Didn't they know he was just trying to look out for them? All these thoughts ran through his mind endlessly. Eventually, Droplet caught himself pacing and breathing hard - mostly out of stress.
The brute looked around downheartedly to see if anyone was watching. Droplet took a deep breath, and trotted off without looking back. Away from his pack and away from his territory. Maybe they were best by themselves. There was almost no way of tracking him hence snow started to fall again, covering newly formed pawprints, and masking scents.

Vix finished eating then grabbed a piece for Yakone. She was walking to the den when she didn't see Droplet anywhere. 'He must of went one a walk, good since he needs chill out for a bit' She thought then went over to where Rei, Yakone and her pups were. She placed the piece by Yakone, "Eat yakone, you will need it. I can go out and hunt for more if needed." Vix said as she laid down near them.

Umi let out an almost inaudible whine as she no longer saw Droplet amongst the pack members. She looked onward as the snow began to fall again she wouldn’t be able to find him in this, especially if it picked up, and what about those sketchy wolves? Umi did not want to run into them alone. The golden dame sighed all she could do was hope he came back soon and safely. Umi still stood out in the snow now just outside the new den watching the snow fall and the horizon, from what she could barely see, silent.

Yakone sets the two down, curling around them protectively and looking up at Vixen as she brings food. “Thanks,” he murmurs, reaching out with a forepaw to pull the meat closer to himself before leaning down to eat; taking slow, careful bites after sniffing at it to make sure the meal was safe.

"I'm gonna go watch over the others, If you need anything just howl." Vix said as she left. She heard Umi whine, so she came over. "Everything alright, Umi?" Vix asked looked at the dame.

Krystal had stayed silent the whole time. She had stayed at the side of the pack just watching everything. Krystal was sitting down until she got up and headed to take a bite of the elk. Once Krystal was finished eating she headed back to the spot were she was sitting before she had got up.

Reika didn't pay attention to what Vix had said as she was lost in her thoughts while looking at the pup then nudged it; her she soon found out, closer to her belly with a hind paw. There was something about the actions of the little pup that sparked something in her, something like a mother's love for her child. "Was this what mum was talking about?" She mused to herself, a small smile making its way onto her muzzle and her tail swaying a little.

Yakone’s eats twitch at the younger’s words, angling toward the source as he nips playfully at the paws of Vixen’s offspring. “It’ll be much better when they’re your own pups,” he barks, tail thumping lazily against the den floor as he watches the two pups’ reactions. “I remember Suluk talking about what it was like for her; I’m sure you’ll enjoy the experience, even when it gets frustrating.”

Reika looked at Yakone, the smile still on her muzzle. "Do you really think so?" She asked quietly, frowning slightly. "I'm starting to have second thoughts about having pups. I don't know if I'm ready." She felt lost and confused but certain and happy.

He pushes himself to his paws slowly, once again nipping at the pups playfully before he pads over. He sits at her side, peering over her to look down at the abandoned pup. “I think you’re ready,” he murmurs, lowering his crania to nuzzle her cheek reassuringly. “If you need any help, I’m here to do what I can for you.”

Droplet trotted throughout the lush valley, peering back occasionally. The brute grunted gently as his pillars worked faster, soon his trot turned into a sprint. Where was he going? He didn't care, frustration took him over - maybe he wasn't sane. "They don't care" Droplet whined softly to himself.

Reika whines happily from the nuzzle and her tail sways faster. "Thanks, Yak. I'll be sure to come to you for advice." She said. Now that she was finally able to really rest thanks to the long journey, Reika yawns, and lays her head down on her paws, curling more around the pup and just watched her for a few moments. Not long later, Reika's eyes drooped closed and was soon dozing off.

His jaws stretch open in a yawn, and he stands back up. Not wanting to stay longer than he was needed, he pads over to another spot to curl up. Once comfortable, he relaxes on his side with a tired sigh.

Umi turned to Vixen upon hearing her question “I’m not sure..why would he leave like that, so sudden.” The golden dame looked confused as she had paced a bit unable the catch Droplet’s scent in the snow.

Reika swiveled an ear towards where she heard Umi and Vix talking. 'So, Droplet has left. That was a stupid move.' she thought. Opening her eyes, she sits up and carefully stands as to not wake up Yakone. Taking the pup in her jaws, she set her near Lucy and Blade and quietly slunk out of the den, past the two and into the valley, thanks to her almost white fur. Once she believed she was far enough she called Droplet's name. "This is completely stupid but Droplet needs to come back. Running off like that is uncalled for." Reika muttered to herself with a shake of her head and making scratch marks on one of the trees.

"He might of went on a walk to cool down." Vix said as she saw Rei ran off. "Great...now Rei went to find Droplet." Vix said as she looked back at the pups and Yakone sleeping in the den. Vix walked over and laid outside of the den entrance.

"Droplet!" Reika called looking around. The skies were glistening with the bright white stars which looked down on the frostbitten trees. They stood together as a pack, sheltering in the cold wind. Mountains loomed above the forest, leaning threateningly over the chilly trees. Ferns stood tall as the saplings shivered. Reika sighed when she heard no answer and marked up another tree. "He's gotta be around here somewhere."
