Vix stood where she was and kept her eyes on the wolves. She felt her pups walk under her, She used her paw to stop them from continuing then she put her paw down once they sat down. "Lets calm down for now, guys." Vix said as she saw Reika's fur bristling and Anik with Yakone growling at the wolves.

Reika saw Lucy and Blade approach Vix but didn't comment. "I'll calm down when this fleabag gets out of my sight." She said but she did lessen her growling and her fur did flatten.

Umi stood quietly although her hackles were raised just watching everything unfold. What the hell was wrong with that brute that snapped at Reika she did nothing to him. And that poor pup brought out looked close to death. Umi averted her optics so as not to stare too much. Umi just wanted her packmates and herself to be able to eat in peace, this tension felt unnecessary. The golden dame sighed talking to Reika “They won’t be here long.”

Reika glared one last time at the wolf then turned around walked over to the carcass and began to eat. "Can't I go one day without someone snapping at me?" She grumbled to herself, tail lashing.

Umi winced also heading towards the carcass still keeping a wary eye on the strangers. Perhaps Droplet had made a deal with these new comers.

Forcing herself to not eat anymore and to allow the others to eat, Reika backed off and walked a little ways from the pack, just to really get away from the strangers,not at all comfortable with them being close to her.

Vix nudged her pups to eat with Umi as she stood there keeping an eye on the strangers. She didn't trust them after the little act and with them snapping at Reika.

Yakone moves toward the carcass, standing protectively in front of the females to let them take their fill before he even tries to take any. His lips are peeled back in a warning snarl, and he pointedly snaps at the wolf that had bothered Reika to make him move further back.

Umi stood close to Vixen’s pups as the three of them ate. She especially still keeping an eye out at the distanced new comers.

The dame screamed something in what it seemed to be a different language. The brute let his ears go flat, padding to the female, mumbling something under his breath.
"I'm sorry, little guy. Survival of the fittest." she mumbled, licking the pups cheek sadly. "Everyone, move out." the dame called, padding away, leaving the tiny pup to fend for itself.

Vix saw them leave and left the pup behind. She walked over to droplet. "Now what Droplet?" She asked looking at Droplet as she sat down.

Yakone mumbles as the group pass away, relaxing and moving over to the pup. He lowers his crania, taking it between his teeth cautiously before straightening up and turning to a safe spot to lie down. He sets the pup down, curling around it and running his tongue along its small frame to try to warm it. Anik, sighing in frustration at his father’s immediate, instinctive reaction to the abandoned pup, simply shakes his head and looks away.

Reika looked up when she hears the strangers walk away. She huffs "At least he's gone," then stands up and pads over to the others and sees that Yakone is curled up around the pup. She glances at the pup than to where the strangers ran off to and frowned. "Why leave the pup?" She asked more to herself than the others. "So what's to be done with the pup? I'd rather not leave it. It's too young to be alone."

Droplet looked at the ground for a hot second before clearing his throat. "We are to rest here for tonight. I shall keep guard for some hours." he nodded slowly, looking towards the pup "As for the pup.. keep it alive, for now. How old is it?" the brute mused a bit angry. "Could this be a set up?" Droplet mumbled to himself

"I don't think it is but we should be on guard just in case." Vix said as she looked at Yakone warming the pup up. "Rei can you see if you can get the pup some food and herbs to help the pup, while I help Yakone?" Vix asked Rei as she walked over to Yakone with her pups following. She laid down and her pups decided to cuddle with the pup to help warm it up.

"Let me see," Reika said as she stepped forward towards Yakone and the pup. Giving the older wolf a nuzzle, she gently took the pup in her jaws, sat it down in front of her then curled around it. Gently, she opened it's mouth seeing that there were no teeth. "Hmm, still young enough to not be weaned yet," After she said that, the pup whimpered, stumbled towards her belly and began to nurse.

Yakone releases an affectionate noise at the nuzzle, tilting his head back and playfully bumping his nose against the younger’s neck. He turns his focus to the pup again as it nurses, ears pricking. An ear angles toward Droplet’s questions, and he doesn’t hesitate to make a statement. “I’ll watch after it,” he states firmly, raising his head almost proudly. “I’ve got decent experience. I can do everything but provide milk for the pup, so it won’t be too hard.”

"yeah, I can go and hunt more if needed too as well. "Vix agreed with Yakone. Vix looked at Lucy and Blade. "Why Donn't you two keep an eye on the pup as well and come find me if either Yakone or Rei needs anything." Vix said as they nodded and ran over to Rei with the pup.

"Yakone and Reika, take Vixens pups to the den. Its cleared" Droplet focused on the pup "Oh, and THAT one" he continued coldly, before shaking it off. That was rude. It was just a pup, and didn't know any better. The brute mused to himself. "Did everyone eat?"

Yakone’s eyes narrow ever-so-slightly at the cold tone, though he stands and picks up the two pups by their scruffs. He pads off to set them inside like he’d been instructed, movements a little slow due to stiff joints.
