Anik is instantly lowered into an aggressive posture, lips peeling back over his canines in a sneer and hackles bristled at the other male’s words. His tail lashes, eyes narrowed dangerously with a cold glare locked on the two lupines. “What’s the plan, Alpha?” He inquires, taking a predatory step forward.

"I would like to see you try and kil-" - "NO!" the dame stepped out in front of the hostile wolves, shaking in a way. "Please.. I beg you.. We have a family to return to.. I can.. I can.." she continued, but was abruptly stopped by her mate. "Don't show weak-"
"ENOUGH." Droplet snarled, stepping forward, flicking his tail at his pack for a "no-go, keep your guard up." "Let the dame speak." he said, keeping his eyes focused on the unfamiliar loner "What can you offer us?" The golden-black Alpha said, grinning slyly.
"I can.. offer your pack a small meal.. please don't hurt us."

Vix stood back but she kept her eye on the male mostly. She stood where she was but she still don't trust the two wolves at all. She was also worried for the pack especially Reika since she is pregnant and Vix's pups but she didn't let it show at all. She just let Droplet talk to them as she kept an eye on them or looked around for other wolves that may be with these two loners.

Anik reluctantly steps back again, though not relaxing in the slightest. His gaze remains trained on the two wolves, lips moving to cover his canines once again.

Droplet nods reluctantly, letting a small growl slip from his maw. The loner flicks her tail; 4 more wolves appear; scrawny and terrified. The dame goes to the largest of the group and whispers something. Instantly, all of them left in the direction of Droplet's pack. Think fast, Droplet thought, running after them. IT WAS A SET UP! his hackles raised charging after them. Oh. the brute skidded to a halt as the wolves ran past his pack.

Vix howled for the pack to let them know, she ran after Droplet not even wasting a second to catch her breathe.

Umi suddenly stood hearing Vixen howl and looking up she saw wolves she didn’t know approaching fast. The golden dame was about to let out a growl as her fur stood on end, but the strangers wizzed by her as well as the others. “That was...odd.”

Vixen ran over to her pups who were with Yakone. she halted to catch her breath, glad they weren't hurt but she looked to the wolves that were just running. She went back to Droplet, "That was weird but we should still be on alert just in case, Droplet. I'm worried that they might come back with more wolves." Vix said as she finally caught her breath.

Reika perked up her ears upon hearing both Vix's howl and approaching footsteps. She sat up from her spot to see s group of wolves running towards her and the rest of the pack. Immediately she went on the defensive, ears pinned, growling, fangs bared and moving a little closer to the other two near her. She stopped however when the wolves didn't come near any of them which confused her. "What just happened?" She asked Umi and Keeva

“I’m not entirely sure myself..maybe we weren’t what they were looking for?” Umi offered her explanation to Reika feeling just as perplexed, she’d never seen a group of wolves do that before.

Reika shrugged, not sure herself."Maybe..." She trailed off. "I'm glad they didn't attack, I'm not in no position to fight." Relaxing, Reika laid back down on her "bed" of snow but still remained weary until the others come back and say it's safe.

The dame chuckled gently looking at Droplet.
"Enough with your games." he huffed letting out a low growl. "Its alright everyone, they're giving us 'food'. Keep your guard up. Reika, please check if the food is safe, one they return." the brute nodded to his pack in a reassuring way.

After a few minutes, the 3 of the wolves return dragging a deer, and the other with a scrawny hare.

Reika nodded to Droplet's words and once three of the wolves returned, she stood and walked over to the three wolves, her ears backwards, fur slightly bristled, alert and weary if one of the stranger wolves will attack. "I don't feel too confident doing this alone, Droplet." Reika whispers to Droplet as she just stops a little ways in front of him.

Droplet flicked his audits in acknowledgment. The brute brushed past Reika "Stay close behind me." he said firmly, padding up to the carcass. "Move." Droplet growled at the wolves, who instantly backed up without hesitation. Only one, mumbled something under their breath, but quickly backed up.

Reika gave a tiny nod and followed close behind Droplet, tensing when the wolves moved back and the one taking longer than the others. She slowly walked up to the carcass and gave it couple sniffs and examinations. Upon her examination, she didn't smell anything off about nor saw any out of the ordinary wounds that shouldn't be present. Satisfied, she backed up, not trusting to turn her back to the strangers. "There is nothing wrong with it. I don't smell or see anything out of the ordinary." She reported to Droplet in a low murmur.

Droplet nodded to Reika "Thank you." .. "White River, you may eat." he said, padding off to that dame. "Thank you. You can stay .. but your pack. They have to go."
"I understand.." Merry said with a small frown, before going back inside of the den. Moments later, she came back with a pup; who looked half dead. Droplet looked away, trying not to say anything out of pity.
One of the wolves stared at Reika, growling a bit. "You know what?" he said, snapping at her audit, missing.
"PARADOX ENOUGH GET OVER HERE."

Reika yelped in surprise and fright and stumbled backwards over her own paws but caught herself and growled aggressively at the male that snapped at her. She somewhat stopped when a dame emerged from inside a den with a pup. Poor thing looked half dead.

Vix heard Reika yelp so she came to where Droplet was and growled. She went over to Reika. "You okay, Reika?" Vix asked her as she kept an eye on the wolves. She didn't care about the pup since the male snapped at her pack mates for no good reason. She stayed by Reika.
Lucy and Blade heard Droplet then looked at Yakone. "There's food, let's go and eat." Blade said to yakone as he ran over to where Vix was. Lucy followed glad to see their mom was ok.

Anik and Yakone had instantly shot up when the wolf had snapped at Reika, canines baring and ears pushed forward as if daring him to try it again. Their fur is bristled, Yakone stalking after the pups warily to make sure none of the other pack’s wolves did anything. Anik moves forward, growling lowly as he sits near his packmates defensively.

Reika nodded to Vix's question, still growling. "I'm fine but had he actually bit me, he's gonna be sorry." She fumed, fur bristling. She was touched her packmates are concerned for her, a lot more than what Lyall, Lovetta and Lovota showed but she knew they did care but just didn't show it that much.
