Reika briefly looked up to Umi, gave her a smile then turned back to Lucy and Blade, swiveling an ear to Umi to show she was listening. "Hey Umi. I'm good just watching these two for Vixen until she gets back. How are you?" She had to stop herself from laughing when she saw what happened to Umi but only ended up giggling.

Yakone stands slowly once he’s sure Anik is sound asleep, leaving one final lick atop his crania before he turns and pads off. He heads towards Vixen’s pups, his tail wagging slowly in a playful manner; a greeting, somewhat. “Everything good over here?” He rasps, twitching his ears toward the two dames as he lowers his head to playfully nudge at the young pups.

Reika nodded, chuckling at the sight of the older wolf playing with the two pups. "I'm good, just doing a friend a favor." She said. "How about you? That hip not hurting?"

He straightens up, turning his head to eye his hip and shifting his position experimentally to see if anything is wrong. “Not as far as I can tell,” he muses, before going still. “Just the usual.”

Reika nodded again. "The daisy leavs should have given you the-" she pauses to shift her position side laying which should soothe her little ones. "Strength you need."

A cold, hard wind hit Krystal and she was almost knocked over, but she regained her balance. She gave her chest fur a few embarrassed licks before continuing through the snow. A foul scent drifted on the wind. She wrinkled her nose at the horrible stench. Crow-food. Krystal spotted were the smell was coming from. There was a dead bird laid limp on the ground. Krystal quickly dug a hole and pushed the crow-food into it. She pushed dirt on top of the hole and patted the ground with her paw.

 As the wolves continued their journey, they come across a small lake, and a few caves, durable enough to hold all of them. Droplets audits perked. "Stop." he called out firmly, his tassel twitching curiously. "White River, hold your grounds, Anik and Vixen, follow close behind." the brute continued, not taking his eyes off of the prints that were left in the fresh sheet of snow. "Everyone keep their eves peeled, look out for any loners." |

Vixen came back with nothing else, she sighed. Once droplet announce they were gonna continue on she let her pups walk like they wanted only if they would follow closely and stay close to another pack mate. Vixen walked as her pups were following close behind her. She stopped when she heard droplet. “Guys stay with Reika or Yakone, don’t come back to me for now.” Vixen told them as she went back of the pack so she could see everyone and any threats easier.
Lucy and Blade watched Vixen then they went over to Reika since she was the closest to them. They would walk and look back at Vixen from time to time.

Seeing the small lake and caves, Reika gave a half hearted smile as she stood already feeling the effects of walking for too long. Reika walked over to a boulder and laid down against it and licked her sore pads. "Note to self: Don't push yourself over your limits." She muttered to herself, watching Vixen, Droplet and Anik walk off.

“All’s well with me thanks.” Umi replied aloud as she finally made her was there to the small group. She turned her attention however when Droplet spoke up addressing the pack she nodded then looked around them. Small caves dotted the area as well as a lake.
(Is this lake frozen?)

"That's good. I'm finally glad to get here. My paws are killing me." Reika said, shaking her paws for emphasis. "I think I pushed myself a little too hard."

Umi watched Reika “Need a break perhaps?” The cold weather wasn’t doing anyone any good she knew especially the pregnant dame by her, Vixen ‘s pups, or Yakone.

Reika raised an eyebrow at her than gave her a deadpan look. "What do think I'm doing now?" She asked, slightly amused. She gestured to the fact she was currently laying down against the boulder.

Vixen followed droplet looking around for loners as Droplet was focused on the prints in the snow.
Meanwhile Lucy and Blade worried for their mom so they wandered around where the pack was resting. They then laid down and cuddled with each other since they were cold from the snow.

Anik had risen sleepily at the sound of Droplet calling for him, and with a tired yawn set out after the other two lupines. “I’m comin’,” he murmurs, crooked tail lashing from side to side momentarily before he slows his pace upon reaching the sides of the others.
Yakone sits primly away from Anik was resting, and looks over at Vixen’s pups as they curl up together. He seems to frown, rising to his paws and padding over. He curls around the two to shield them from the cold the best he can, shivering undetectably himself.

Following after the pack a bit behind she was finally relieved when seeing a few of the members stopping and taking a break. Though it was mostly just the ones who were older and the ones who were with or carry pups. Sitting down on the cold as her eyes glanced around, ears flicking to the voice of the alpha as he gave a warning about possible loners being in the area. Soon enough she had pulled herself to her paws, walking over to one of the dams she knew well enough to talk to, that mainly being the golden pelted one named Umi and perhaps the older dam she was fairly familiar with, Reika. "Excuse me Umi..do you by chance know when get the chance to settle down and perhaps fill ourselves for a fresh meal? I'm starting to feel a bit faint and I'm not all too sure how the rest of this journey will be turn out for me." Her voice gentle, merely a whisper, as she lowered her head slightly. Ears folding back a bit as she gave a quick glance to Reika as well.

Umi blinked with a sheepish grin “Oh eh didn’t notice” she winced at the fact she was unsure of what to say to Reika.
Umi turned her head and attention to Keeva as the smaller cream pelted dame approached them. She hummed at Keeva ‘s question “Not sure about when the next hunt will be. It’s a little hard to find prey right now. I’d be willing to help you look so long as we don’t stray too far from everyone. New area and all.” She finished addressing Keeva.

Reika rolled her eyes in amusement. "S'alright." She said then turned to Keeva. "I agree with Furball here. I'd wager we wait for Droplet, Vix and Anik to get back. Don't want anyone in the pack getting hurt. I've learned to stop being hungry for a while is to drink water til you don't feel hungry anymore." Reika stands up, her legs shook but not terribly and began to move snow around as if making a bed of some sort. She lays back down on the more softer snow after finishing her task.

Droplet held his tail high, peering back to see his pack mates. The footprints led to a small cave. "Hello?" the brute asked sternly "Show yourself, we are aware of your presence"
"Well well well.. look what we have here" a sire, about the size of Droplet appeared from the mouth of the cave. "Dinner." he said with a toothy grin, which was cut short due to another wolf rubbing against him with a fearful look.
"Please.. Don't hurt us, we were just looking for food, we will be on our way." the female said.

Vix looked at the male and the female, she tensed for a fight after what the male said. She glanced to droplet from time to time for an order to fight or not.
The pups looked up at Yakone. They were still worried about their mom but they put that aside. "Thanks Yakone, we should try to find a better place to lay down since you are shivering at well." Lucy said as she looked at Blade and Yakone.
