Reika chuckled. "At least some of us can sleep in this weather." She said, her tail swishing slightly. "I honestly wish I could sleep right now." Reika lifted one of her paws; it was a little cold and slipped it under her. "I just want this famine to end."

Anik works on finding a way to get comfortable with the unfamiliar feeling of another wolf cuddled up to his side, resting his head on the ground and ignoring the licks from Yakone that he assumes are meant to be assuring. His ears twitch, angling toward their surroundings alertly.

Lucy and Blade soon woke up and they jumped away from vixen and started to play in the snow. “What is this stuff?" Blade asked hit it onto Lucy. Lucy pushed Blade down onto the snow.

"It's called snow, little ones." Reika said with a chuckle. "Cold but fun to play in." 'Wish it didn't make the prey leave,' she mused to herself mentally. She giggled when Lucy pushed Blade into the snow. They were just too cute.

Umi’s ice blue optics gleamed as she turned around to see the pups playing. It put a ray of sunshine on their cold travels.

Vixen watched her pups play in the snow but then a cold wind blew lightly passed. Lucy shivered so she jumped between Vixen's tail and body to cuddled up for warmth. Blade walked and sat down shivering. "It isn't so cold...much." Blade said as he sat between Reika and Vixen.

Reika chucked at their actions and moved a little closer to him. "Much," she said amused. "It won't be like this forever." 'Hopefully,' she added mentally. She winced slightly as her pups kicked in her belly, as if agreeing somehow.

Vixen looked at Reika, "You okay, Reika?" Vixen asked worried for her.

Reika nodded and smiled slightly. "Yeah, I'm alright. Just someone not wanting to be still for a long period of time." She took a quick glance at her belly than to everyone else.

"I'm about to see what I can maybe caught since I know everyone is hungry and we will all need at least something in our stomach." Vixen said looking at the others then at her pups.

Reika nodded in agreement. "Just don't over exert yourself. Overworking yourself will only make you more hungry than before." She advised. "While you do that, I could keep an eye on these two for you." Reika pointed to the two pups with her tail.

“Thank you Reika.” Vixen said as she got up and walked off to find prey. The pups started to play again.

"Your welcome." Reika said then began to get a little more comfortable on the snow. After doing so, she kept her eyes on the two pups, occasionally looking at everyone else.

Vixen walked far from the group hoping to find something for the pack. She could barely even pick up any scent at all with the snow everywhere. She did see paw steps of an animal, she followed it until she saw a rabbit. With her coat it was easier to hunt in the winter so she crawled closer, once the rabbit was in her range she jumped killing it with a bit to the throat. She walked back to the rest so she can drop this off and go hunt some more if she could.

Umi made her way towards Reika after Vixen had gone to hunt. As she was further up front when the group stopped Umi was only a short distance away. “Hey Reika, wh—“ her speech was cut short as the golden dame suddenly dropped into a deeper snow drift she didn’t know was there, peeping her head out from the indent she gave a sheepish smile and chuckled shaking the snow off her pelt. “Pretend that didn’t happen..anyway how are you?”

Krystal laid in a ditch under a fallen tree. She shifted a little, and then some more till she was awake. She stretched her legs for they were very sore from hunting so much and let out a long yawn. She padded out of the den and realized that she slept way to long then what she wanted too. Suddenly a warm scent drifted through her nose. Krystal turned her head and saw Vixen dropping a rabbit down into the snow. This was the first time Krystal saw food in days!

Yakone continues his comforting licks between Anik’s ears, the dark-coated bachelor sleeping comfortably tucked against his father’s side. Of course, he’d later deny that he had, or claim that it’d only been for warmth, but the elder was enjoying the contact while he could. His ears twitch in acknowledgment to the nearby voices, though he remains silent.

Krystal bounded over to the rabbit took one small bight and forced herself not to eat anything else until she had hunted, then she could eat more. She turned around and headed across the camp to the entrance. She stopped in her tracks as she saw Yakone laying next to Anik giving him licks between the ears. Krystal smiled and padded on through the snow. Soon she was out on the tundra.
