Umi chuckled as her audits twitched hearing the pups’ mike a minute questions they asked. Weather such as this wast to be trifled with especially if you didn’t have the shelter for it. The golden dame wondered herself how this new safe haven would look like.

Droplet called something to the pack, but it sounded like a distant hum due to the wind speed. "Sheild one another" the brute grunted, almost struggling to push though. This is impossible. He thought to himself, although he shook it off, continuing to move forward.

Reika strained her ears to hear Droplet over the heavy wind but could just make out "Shield nother," and whined a little before moving over to Vixen, Yakone and the pups.

Yakone lowers his head ever-so-slightly as the wind blows harder, shielding Blade from the harsh wind to the best of his ability. Anik, traveling at the back as instructed, pushes himself forward but doesn’t get close enough to pass anyone.

After what it seems like hours, the wolves got out of the heart of the blizzard. Snow drizzled lightly now.
Droplet was covered in snow. With a huff, the brute shook his pelt, partials still clinging to him. "Is everyone alright back there?" He mused, breathing heavily.

Shaking the snow off her pelt then sat down on the snow. "I'm good just out of it. Everyone okay up there?" She asked, panting slightly.

Umi shook her golden pelt violently with a shiver, a thick winter pelt can’t keep out all the cold she huffed mentally. “Yeah all good, just freezing is all.” She joked half heartedly as there was some truth to her words.

Yakone sets Blade down carefully, shaking snow from his coat afterwards. “Stiff,” he grunts, “But I can keep moving.” Anik, looking unconvinced, just offers a silent nod to confirm that he’s alright.

Vixen had shielded Lucy from the wind so when they stopped, Vixen set Lucy down and shook herself from all the snow a little bit of ice as well. "Yeah, I'm good." Vixen said as she saw Blade and Lucy shiver a little so she laid down and cuddled them to keep them warm.

After following after the others through the snow, Keeva had been pretty silent. Merely just watching trees go by as they walk and so on. Perking her ears to the others as they spoke she remained to keep her maw close for the moment. Her small figure shaking off the snow that had piled up on her coat. Her mind kept wonder just where they were going and how far. She still had yet to eat anything, so this trip for her felt a bit troublesome.

Realizing that one member was silent, Reika turned to Keeva, stood up and walked over to her. "Keeva, right?" She asked. "Is everything alright? You didn't answer when Droplet asked if everyone was alright."

"Huh? Oh...I'm fine...just really hunger. I know we all haven't had much luck in hunting, I just haven't eaten in awhile is all. Don't know how I'll fair in this trip." Turning her eyes up towards one of the other females she spoke in a quiet tone before shaking her fur once more. "Plus I'm pretty tired, but I'll just push through it so don't worry about me."

Reika nodded. "Don't worry, Keeva we'll make it." She reassured Keeva. "Just don't overwork yourself okay? That just makes things worse." With that, she gives Keeva a smile and returns to where she was before and lays down against a tree with a sigh.

Umi eyed the snow covered surroundings, so pretty yet cold and harsh. Her ice blue optics twinkled as she lightly pawed the snow thinking about her moss pile left in the lambda den, oh well there will be more come spring. The golden dame looked up again at her companions seeing how they were.

Reika was glad that the pack was taking a break, that blizzard was honestly a swirling storm of screaming silver and she was glad that everyone got out of it just fine. She stands up, shakes the snow off her pelt and lays back down.

Yakone pads over to Anik as the younger lies down away from everyone, his movements almost shy; reluctant, even. His head is dropped, tail tucked between his legs in an apparent submissive posture, not wanting to aggravate Anik. He curls up protectively against the other’s side, both for his own warmth and his sons, and tucks his head under his chin quietly. Anik, looking rather frustrated with the sudden cuddling, doesn’t protest verbally to avoid causing an issue.

Lucy and Blade cuddled closer to Vixen as she lowered her head and tucked her tail in closer. She watched her pack mates as she laid warming up her pups.

Seeing Vixen out the corner of her eye, Reika stood up for the second time, stretching for a little bit and walked over to the female. "Hey Vix," she greeted. "How are you fairing with this weather?" She sat down a little ways in front of the other.

"I'm use to the cold so it doesn't bother me as much." Vixen said as she looked down at her pups sleeping. "How about you?" Vixen asked as she looked at Reika.

Reika shrugged. "I'm kinda used to warmer areas but I do like the cold just when the food isn't so low." She said and at that moment, a slight wind blew causing her to shiver slightly. "Hopefully where we're going is better. But anyways, how are the two little ones?"
