Reika scrunches her nose from the flick then turned to Anik. "I don't think I can exactly but I have some of an idea." She said trying to to stop the ichy sensation on her nose but couldn't and sneezed. Shaking her head, she then followed Anik. "Please tell me. I'd rather here it from you."

OOC Notes: Goodmorning world! Aaahh about time I make a post, eh? -- I believe to be mates with Umi, correct?
Droplet shifted his muscular build to the left. His golden optics gleamed as he saw his mate, Umi fast asleep - or was she? The golden and black male gingerly groomed the top of her head for a good minute or two before scanning over the wolves. Where was Reika, Anik, Vixen, and her pups?
Droplet slowly pushed to all fours, searching for Yakone. "Hey, have you seen Reika, Anik, and Vixen?" he mused, a large yawn erupting from his maw. "Oh- and good morning to you."

After what had felt like an hour or so the only meal that this small framed dame was able to find was a small mouse or two, and that had obviously didn't do her much good. With the cold weather and all she was starting to feel more drained within each passing mintue, as if something was attached to her and sucking away whatever life she had.
Laying flat on her side at the bottom of a small mound in the snow steam escapes from her jaws as she was forcing each and every breathe. It felt was though she had something inside her that was making it harder and harder to breath. The coughing from earlier within the day had returned, and like before blood was stained on her muzzle as well as the once clean snow beneath her body. Only this time it was a bit more than before.
Whimpering faintly as those emerald eyes of her's closed there was a major need to rest. But at the same time she wasn't tired, only feeling drained and utterly weak. Her body was practically disobeying her command to get up and move. For a poor choice of words she felt like death itself.
But it was good she was away from the others, she didn't want any of them to see her in such a state of weakness. She hated this deathly feeling taking over her body but she would hate it more if others were to see.

Yakone raises his head at the sound of Droplet’s voice, blinking awake slowly. His jaws stretch open in a yawn, ears twitching. “I can’t say I have,” he murmurs, turning his head to eye the den. “I know Reika’s are resting. But I haven’t seen the adults this morning.”
Anik looks back at Reika, pausing so he doesn’t walk into a tree. “Well,” he begins, a bit slow as he tries to think, “when the sun hits your fur at just the right angle, like when you were running, it only amplifies your beauty- of course, not by much, nothing could do that. When you get excited, your eyes do this thing where they light up, like it’s the most interesting thing in the world. And even when you aren’t excited, they could outshine any star in the night sky.” He ducks his head as he finishes, still a bit embarrassed from earlier, and now a bit more. “We should get back to the others.”

Reika stops walking before she bumbed into Anik, her mind still processing what he had said. Finally being able to process it, she brushed up against his side and nuzzled him under his head, tail swishing slowly. "Arigatō, Ani-kun." She said, smiling. "You're quite handsome yourself, aejeong."

He seems to relax when she doesn’t make any kind of negative comment, dipping his head to nuzzle lightly at her shoulder. “Well thank you, Reika. Even though I assure you, I’m not. Extra toe and bent tail? I wouldn’t call it attractive.”

Reika laughs a little and lightly bumps his shoulder with hers. "Pabo, I do. It's what makes me like you more since it makes you special." She chastised, lightly, not even caring about what she said but she won't deny it. She finally admitted to herself what she knew all along but was afraid to admit it at first: She liked Anik. A lot. Taking a deep breath, Reika stopped her actions, pulled out from under Anik and looked him straight in the eyes. "Ani-kun, there's something I want to say to you," she pauses, taking another deep breath. "I like you, like really really like you. As in, more than a friend."

He pauses, a paw lifted an inch or two from the ground because he was about to continue walking. “You.. you do?” His stunned expression returns, heterochromic gaze trained on the damsel and eyes widened in surprise. Shyly, after a moment or two, he scuffs the snow with his previously lifted paw and redirects his attention to the frigid ground. “You’re.. sure you do?”

Reika nods, mentally giggling at how cute he looked now. "Yes, Ani-kun. I am." She says. "I am not joking." Her heart was rasing again but maybe not as fast as before. "I really really really really really really like you." In her head she was hoping he had feelings for her too.

He peers up at her, ears twitching at the sound of her rapid heartbeat. Dipping his head and lowering into a shy posture, almost submissive, except for his tail not tucked between his legs and ears currently erect. He steps closer, outstretching his neck to very lightly nuzzle at her shoulder; nose barely brushing the fur. “Well, I really really really like you too,” he murmurs, the repetition mostly to poke fun at her own wording.

Reika felt happy, not happy, joyful. People use the words "happiness" and "joy" interchangeably, but they are not the same. Joy is more full, more lasting than happiness. She tried not to show her feelings like all at once as it may be overwhelming but she did nuzzle Anik back. "I'm really really really happy but I'm trying to stay calm." She said with a giggle.

He chuckles, raising his head before nudging at the other’s side. “Come on, Rei. We’ve got to get back before they start to worry about us.” He steps away now, moving around her and heading toward where the others are resting. “We can probably come out for more free time if they don’t need us.”

"Okay, hopefully we can come out again." Reika said, hopping a little bit. She was still happy; happy was something that elevated the spirit, lifted one from the mire of whatever was normal.

He chuckles, jerking his head toward the likely temporary camp to signal for her to go. “Ladies first.” He lowers into a mock bow, playful glint from before in his eyes.

Reika smiles, mock bowing as well. "Why thank you kind sir." She said, licking his cheek then walking back to camp, noticing that Yakone and Droplet were awake. "Morning," she says to them, giggling and walking back into the den and laying down next to the pup pile who were still asleep.

He follows, his tail raised and wagging as he approaches the group. “Mornin’!” He yips, padding over to Yakone and curling up at his side to warm up without making things too obvious at the moment and following Reika. Yakone eyes the two suspiciously, his ears twitching as if listening for any explanation.

Vix walked back out from behind the den with her pups running into the den to see Rei's pups. Vixen saw Yakone and Droplet and she smiled to them then saw Rei laying by her pups and Anik laying down as well. "Wow everyone is up this early" Vix said surprised. She sat down near them and watched her pups tilting their heads and watching Rei's pups.

Anik looks up at the sound of Vixen’s voice, his tail thumping against the ground lazily. “Who wouldn’t be? I’d hate to miss a morning like this. Almost feel bad for the wolves still asleep.”

Reika giggles almost uncontrollably but smothers it by covering her mouth with a paw having an idea on what Anik meant. "I honestly wanted to relax from this stressful time." She said after collecting herself, licking her pups who whimper and woble over towards her belly to nurse again.

Vixen looked at Anik and Rei curious. 'I wonder what got Anik and Rei to be this excited and happy' Vix wondered since she has never seen them like this.
