Reika smiled nervously. "Well you kinda weren't helping the situation and I wasn't thinking straight." She mumbled looking away. "But it was true though." She flicks her ears a few times and smoothens the fur on her tail. Might as well try to collect herself from that moment.

He nods, ears pinning against his skull in embarrassment and tail moving to almost tuck between his hind legs. “Sorry about that. Just wanted to pick at you a little.”

Reika saw this and blinked then looked sheepish. 'My turn,' she said to herself in her head. "It's alright. No harm done." She then stood, ignoring how now her legs want to move and walked over to him. "Though, I would've liked it had you not caught me off guard." She brushed up against his side, mentally making a note on how his fur was soft.

He turns his head to look at her, his ears pricking in both surprise and intrigue. “Yeah?” His head lowers, nose bumping against her flank in a playful manner. “Then I’ll work on that; no more surprises.”

Reika raised an eyebrow at that. "Oh?" She asked brushing up against his other side and then began to circle the darker male, eyes never leaving his; a hint of a playful glint in her gaze. "I would like to see you try your luck with that again." She said while circling him one last time and running her tail under his chin.

“I’ve been out for hours, IniKuk,” he points out, tail lashing to flick at her muzzle as she moves toward his flank, “I know the short cuts by now. You’ve just got to keep an eye out.”

Reika lightly wacked Anik on his muzzle with her tail. "Is that so, Kinpōge?" She questioned as she moves to stand in front of him again. "Should you know that not many wolves back at my home didn't quite like me just because I was smarter than them to a certain degree. So I'm a little new and besides I have not been out and about like you have."

“Well, you’ve time to learn.” He steps back to allow more distance, his chest lowering to the ground into a playful bow. “You get a few seconds for a head start, since you don’t know the area as well.”

Reika smirked, tail swaying. "Well, if that's the case than I do have some tricks up my sleeve, meosjin." She said, lowering herself in a mock bow. "But my question is, are you willing to find out what those are?"

“I think I can handle anything you throw my way.” He shifts his weight impatiently, paws shuffling in the snow beneath him. “Your time starts now.”

"Bring it, meosjin." Reika said and then tackled Anik to the ground, licked his nose then jumped away, standing behind him with a smirk of approval, tail swishing, eyes filled with mirth or mischief.

Anik has looked a little stunned, rolling over and scrambling to his paws when the damsel had jumped off. He lowers into a crouch, shifting his weight as he searches for a good spot to target. He moves like he’s going for her right foreleg, instead jerking to the side at the last second to try and pin her.

Watching his movements, Reika darted away, hopped to his right, slipped under his belly then came out on his left side. Not giving Anik much of a chance to react, she twisted, hauled herself onto his back and hooked his paws out from under him all in one movement then jumped off him and landed neatly behind him again. "Is that all you've got, Ani-kun?" She teasted, playfully.

He huffs, shaking snow off when he gets back up with his paws digging into the cold ground. “You weren’t this good a few minutes ago. What changed?”

"That's cause I saw you coming." Reika said, emphasizing saw. "I have to work with trying to locate a target or enemy behind me." She giggles seeing Anik's situation. Payback. "Though, there's one thing I've been curious about. What does IniKuk mean? I've haven't the foggest as to what it is." She sat on the snowy ground , her head tilted, one ear flopped over her head. It kinda made her look like a cute confused pup.

He pauses, jaw slack as his expression blanks. “Oh um- it’s Inuit,” he starts, hesitating a bit to continue as he awkwardly turns to face her and shuffles his paws anxiously. “It um- well roughly translates to beautiful. And of course by roughly I mean- that’s what it means.”

Reika blushed a little staring wide eyed for a couple minutes. "Really?" She asked, a little flustered. "So you think I'm beautiful?" She was not expecting that.

He nods shyly, his anxious shuffling not pausing for even a second. “I do. That doesn’t even begin to describe you, though.”

Reika curls her tail around her paws then tilts her head again, though her blush had deepened. "It doesn't, then please, do tell. I'm all ears " she said, her voice a little softer.

He shakes his head, walking by and flicking her nose with his tail as he goes. “There aren’t enough words in any language to do that, Reika. Just use your imaginations.”
