Reika shrugged."We can't take it off. The humans know how I'm sure but once we're on our own,these come off by themselves, why I don't know." She laid down, her tail curling against her side and her ears somewhat flat.

He nods, deciding to change the subject and pushing himself to his paws. “Well,” he starts, shaking his coat to get off any snow, “how about we finish up this little area check, then head back? I’m sure the pups are eager for you to get home.”

Reika stood as well. "Really? I thought they would be asleep for a while with their full tummies." She grinned, stretching almost feline-like. "Can't we stay out more? I feel like I have been couped up in the den for days on den arrest. I've grown quite bored."

“Then we can find something to keep us busy while we’re out,” he chuckles, looking over with an ear pricked alertly, the other angled toward her. “If we don’t find anything entertaining, we’ll just walk slowly.”

Reika nodded. "Deal. Though there is one thing I haven't done since I was little." She smiled mischeviously again, then tackled Anik or Ani as she started calling him which caused the both of them to roll a couple times which Reika ended up pinning Anik, a grin on her face, one ear flat and the other perked and her tail wagging. "Honestly, I've been dying to have some fun around here." She said.

He reaches up with a forepaw when they stop, swatting at her muzzle and leaning up, nipping playfully at one of her ears. “Then let’s go have some fun. I’m sure they won’t notice us gone for a while longer.”

Reika raises an eyebrow at the question, that sounded a little suggestive. Ignoring it in favor of having fun instead t then laughs again. "Let's then but you'll have to catch me then." She said and with that, hopped off Anik and darts away.

He rolls over quickly when she gets up, scrambling to his paws before darting after the Iota, paws flinging up snow as he goes, and frame shaking at first to rid his coat of any sticking white. His gaze scans over their surroundings as he runs, searching for any way he can catch up without wasting any energy.

Reika bolted down the valley like an Olympic champion at the start gun. She felt free again, like a giant weight was lifted off her shoulders and having to not carry any heavy burdens. Moving into the morning light is a wolf. She is a white-silver, fur glossy and thick. Her paws kiss the earth with a lightness and there is a serenity in her gaze."Come on slowpoke! We haven't all day!" She called back to Anik.

Catching sight of a fallen, dead tree, Anik veers off to the side. His steps are light, almost silent despite the occasional crunch as his paws sink into the snow beneath him. As he leaps up onto the rotting bark, the crunching stops. He jogs along the length of the tree at a brisk pace, his steps nearly silent as he trails Reika, just out of sight of the damsel.

Reika glanced behind her to see if Anik was following only to see he was not and skidded to a stop, barely out of breath. Where the heck is he? She thought, looking around for the dark coated male. "Anik?" She called his name.

He pauses when she stops, careful to stay silent as he turns to fully face her and lowers into a crouch. Shifting his weight between his haunches, he then pounces. His forepaws are outstretched, and he crashed against Reika only seconds later, standing over her with his breath coming in short pants. “Gotcha.”

Reika looks up at Anik, eyes wide as she wasn't expecting him to catch her so quickly. "That you did..." She trailed off while staring into his eyes. She never really noticed how pretty they were. Realizing she was staring too long, she averted her gaze, she could feel the heat growing in her cheeks. By now they must be beyond an attractive rosiness.

“See something you like?” He teases, green eye seeming to brighten with a playful gleam. He steps back, sitting a small distance from the same to allow her to get back up.

Reika scrambled to her paws when she was able too only to fall on her rump when she didn't cat her foot, her blush had deepened in her embarrassment and from Anik's question. "N-n-no I mean y-y-yes." She stuttered, inwardly wincing from her actions. "Wait what!" She yelped, voice cracking upon realizing what she had said. Her ears went flat, eyes wide. Oh god, this was soo embarrassing for her.

His ears prick up, grin spreading across his features as he steps closer, deciding that it’d be fun to tease a little about how she reacted. “You do, do you? And what is it you see?”

Reika tried to scoot away from him only to find her legs didn't want to work with her. In her mindd she wanted them to move but her body was saying no. "Uhh..."she paused, eyes wide like saucers, ears flat and tail bristling. "Your eyes, your eyes," she continued, the first time mumbled but after the second time it was louder, though she almost stuttered again. That grin was not making her anymore comfortable.

He stops, still looking entertained but not as much as he was before. Instead, he looks more interested. “My eyes?”

Reika nodded rapidly. "It's like they're mysterious and pretty." She said, taking a few deep breaths to calm her rasing heart. "Captivating, like I get lost in them." In the back of her mind she knew that was cheesy.

He pauses, mind reeling as he tries to figure out how he’s supposed to react to this. His ears are pushed forward, twitching as if he’s listening to make sure he’d heard her correctly. His expression is almost stunned. “I wasn’t.. expecting an answer. I thought you’d ignore it.”
