Watching the group stop Ronja had crouched down and hid behind a few trash cans. Blue orbs watching and she took the chance to sneak just a tad closer, keeping to hiding behind objects and whatnot. It was hard to contain herself knowing that she could be getting a fresh meal. Tail curling up and resting on her rump as eyes peeked around to watch. Now she just needed to wait.

Odette smiled glad that Timber was trying at least she then focused her attention on the prey Raven had pointed out “Perfect.” She simply states quietly more so to herself as she too crept forward eyeing their soon to be victim. Oddy licked her maw as she was now level with the rest of the hunting party.

Kaj creeps forward slowly, large frame lowered to the ground with his tail occasionally brushing against the cement. His ears are pushed forward, gaze trained on the creature Raven had pointed out to him. He leans back ever-so-slightly on his haunches once he’d gotten close enough, careful not to startle the prey as he waits for someone to run for it, or a signal for him to do so.

"Okay then me and timber will chase it over here where Odette and Kajetan will slow it down and hopefully take it down as well." Raven said as she kept an eye on the prey. She waited for their reply to her idea or a suggestion.

He grunts, tail lashing at the mention of Timber but he doesn’t protest verbally. “Anything to get the darn food,” he grumbles, shifting his weight from one side to the other almost anxiously. “Just get a move on; we’ve got a group to feed.”

Odette had no complaints and she gave Raven a nod “Sounds good to me luv.” She awaited Kaj to join her ad Oddy prepared to head to the ambush point of their prey.

Kajetan follows slowly, pawsteps light so they don’t make enough noise to scare any of the herd. He sticks close to Odette, keeping an ear angled back toward Alika in case she were to need anything. Before he gets too far, he shoots a wary glance in Timber’s direction before turning his attention back to where he’s going.

Timber leaned back on his hind legs focusing on the prey. He blocked everything out he lightly thought of his mate. He shook his head of memories as he lashed his tail and took a step towards ready to chase.

Raven took one step forward and nodded to Timber before she ran to block the prey from rejoining its herd. memories of her hunting with her older brother flashed through her mind as she ran. She shook her head lightly to focus back on the chase and prey.

Odette shook her head “I know your bein’ cautious, especially with Alika. Just try not to scare him?” Odette tried to sympathize for Timber as she eyed between the unsuspecting prey and Kaj.

Timber let his hind legs spring him forwards. His large paws quickly raced over the land. Knowing he wasn’t to run extremely long Timber took short fast -thingys I can’t remeber the name of for my liiiifffeeee-. His tail lashed wildly him as he gained on the prey. Timber flattened his ears and he came to the animals side, not to close not knowing what everyone wanted to do. He kept it going by snapping at its thigh waiting for a safe time to bite in.

“Scaring him may be the only way to keep him in line,” Kaj mumbles, his gaze still trained on their prey. “I’m not going to welcome him with open paws immediately; he needs to earn it. We’ll talk about this more when we’ve all eaten. Drop it for now.”

Odette sighed softly but gave gave Kaj a firm nod “Alright, later then.” She continued to lay crouched patiently waiting as it had begun, the herd startled and the selected prey was being attacked by Timber leading it towards the two canines.

Raven followed on the other side not to closely that it would change directions but enough to keep it running. More memories happened and she shook her head and focus back to the prey. She kept casing it with Timber to Odette and Kajetan.

As the got closer Timber closed in on the thigh. He kept snapping as the animal kept running. He enjoyed running them out or to death. Timber knew what was planned and stopped distracting himself. He didn’t want to give the male another reason to hate him.

Yuki watched Kaj walk off and huffed. "Yeesh, someone's got his tail in a bunch." she snorted, assuming her place not far off from Oddy. She may be suspicious of new people but she doesn't nearly snap at her friends because of it.

Raven jumped biting at the prey once it was closer to the two. She wanted it to focus on her while Kaj and Odette still has the element of surprise. The prey started buck but missed Raven as she dodged it barely.

Seeing they were close enough Odette gave a grunt to Kaj as she lept at the prey latching her claws onto its front part of its shoulders avoiding the kicking legs since Oddy didn’t need any more pain due to her shoulder. The Aussie’s jaw snapped onto their prey’s neck.

Timber growled as the prey bucked almost kicking him. Since they were pretty close Timber continuesly shoved his shoulders into the elks side just barely ahead of its hind leg. He snapped and nipped at its body not biting in quite yet. Once the others joined in the male sunk his legs into the elks thigh. Timbers paws dove into the ground dragging the elk oddly as he couldn’t quite stop it alone with his thinner build.
(My next reply will be in roughly in hour. I gotta bandage all theses fucking wound things)
